Every year when the family gets together from near and far, one of the highlights is rainy day arcade, at the one and only Hollywood arcade on the OC boardwalk. We love this place because it's not just machines but fun competition on various games of many types. The arcade is well maintained and well run. There is air hockey, skeetball, pool, basketball, motor racing, Photo Booth, little kid rides and of course pinball. Just want to give a shout out to the owner. love Hollywood Arcade !! read more

This place is the best. Although it doesn't have a ticket system like others, it is still amazing. It has all the classics like Ski Ball, Pinball, and Racing Games. It also has many retro games on actual authentic CRT cabinets like; Duck Hunt, Super Mario Bros, and Pacman. A lot of the stuff at this place is from the 70's and gives it that classic vintage vibe, which I really like about it. I will continue to come here anytime that I am in Ocean City, because there aren't many ways to play Duck Hunt anymore (unless you own an NES, as well as a CRT). read more

As an arcade nerd I really liked this arcade. Most of the games are 50¢ to play (vs. $1-2 at newer arcades). This arcade also has some older classics like Time Crisis and House of the Dead (that actually work!!!) and even older ones like Ms. Pacman. The one that caught my eye was a variety stand with 50+ games from the 80's and 90's like Street Fighter and X-Men. They also have pool, air hockey, and basketball in the back. If I could give this place zero stars I would. The staff member here was incredibly rude to my son. He was playing and the worker told him the game he was playing "wasn't for kids like him." He pointed to some other kids and said "it's for kids like that, little kids." My son said, "I'm ten." There were no signs with age or weight restrictions. I was supervising him the entire time. This place isn't family oriented. Take your business to one of the bigger, better arcades and avoid the rude, miserable workers here. read more

Ok was there today my son and i are avid pinball and pac man players we strive to get high scores as we are playing electricity goes out. Girl working hides in back room. So we put more money in machines and playing again 15 mins later electricity goes out again and we lose our money again no one offers money back or nothing bad business practice. read more

This arcade has become my favorite on the boardwalk. Hollywood arcade has many racing, retro, sports, and pinball games. But my favorite thing about this arcade than others is that they added a multi-retro arcade machine, you know the arcade machines that hold like 15 games on them. Anyways since they have that I always try to beat the high score on Mappy and Dig Dug II, but that's the problem. Anytime I play the machine the next day or so, the high scores reset and I really want to know if I'm the champion of Ocean City on this machine. But it's fine otherwise, I love the batman pinball and the mini bowling is fun too. This is definitely in my top five arcades. read more
