Chris was extremely kind, was welcoming in his approach and also very helpful in getting everything to my car. Thank you Chris! This nursery hands down has become my favorite one in LA -- this is how you do a plant experience. Buy your plants here, you and your wallet will be glad you did!

"Oh, Mickey…read more.. You're so fine! You're so fine, you blow my mind! Hey Mickey! Hey Mickey!" Mickey Hargitay Plants is the coolest little big plant store, plant nursery, garden center and serene landscaping places I've ever seen. From the pure vibrant vibes to the incredible staff that make this gem thrive. Tucked away in Hollywood on the cusp of West Hollywood off of Sycamore Ave and Fountain Avenue, just a small skip east from La Brea Avenue. They're open from 9 AM until 5:30 PM all 7 days of the week. And carry plants, planters, gardening essentials and wonderoud things of all shapes and sizes. I've been passing by frequently for nearly two months on my way to work usually before they're open or after they're closed on as I make my way home and finally got to stop in and explore. That wave of calm, relaxation and vibrance that being around nature and all it's planty goodness lives here in abundance. Explore in person, place orders for pick up or even delivery. Mickey Hargitay has a rich history to match it's ambiance since it's birth in 1980, starting off with succulents, cacti and their own macrame designs Voted one of the best places to buy plants in 2015. Featured in the L.A. Times in 2016. Featured in Voyage LA in 2021. Not to mention a great spotlight in 2025. Founded and owned by Mickey Hartigay Jr. a fellow Sag and plant lover like myself. He and every single person here is a gem, I picked up on nothing but good energy even after the end of a long day and rainy weekend everyone here does their best to bring a slice of joy to each person. Ringing up my assortment right as they were closing they still didn't miss a beat. Hoping to stop in a lot more (scheduling pending) and get to know everyone, find more plants for the house as well as a new plant for my boyfriends place of even bring him in to explore. Pup friendly. Family friendly And very much open to all. Recently started following their Insta and I'm "obsessulated!" Easy parking in the neighborhood, street parking primarily or an easy stroll in closeby, riding the metro or parked off La Brea. Four new very healthy plants in various sizes for under $20... Insert all the heart eyes and plant emojis here!!

A very beautiful store and the description of a 'luxury home and garden' store 100% lives up to it…read more The design and layout is a nature's paradise. There's plenty of plant varieties to choose from as well as plant accessories like ceramic pots in all shapes and sizes. When you walk up to the second floor, the garden oasis continues and then in the evening, the space turns into a restaurant. I first attended Rolling Greens for their floral arrangement class which is $250 per person. It comes with a vase, all the florals, one flower food, and the needed materials to make the arrangement in glass. It also comes with wine or refreshing tea. The instructor spent the first 30ish minutes chatting about arrangements and what itesm to start with, and some simple reflexing of petals and wiring, but I do wish there was a bit more technique learned. I did appreciate them walking through each person to give advice and everyone was incredibly friendly! I was very happy to walk out with a beautiful arrangement. Transportation afterwards was a bit difficult, but now I have the vase to create something again!

Wow! What an absolutely gorgeous store!…read more So many beautiful things right now for the holidays, from wreaths to ornaments and so much more. We bought two plants: a fern and a monstera, both at really good prices. A friendly staff member gave us advice on how to care for them, and signed us up for notifications of sales, etc. We will definitely stop in on our next shopping trip in the area. Well worth a visit.

If I chose to spend $10,000 in IKEA, I guarantee I could refurnish my whole home in most rooms with a new furnishings, as well as filling my refrigerator up with a lot of there frozen foods. On another note, the frozen food section has things such as salmon as as well as Swedish meatballs, vegetarian and regular lots of chocolates and many other items with a few of them American made, but mostly items from IKEA with their name brand on it. Overall, it's always a blast I went to IKEA. I just wish it was a lot more direct way to go from the beginning of the store to the location you wanted to and then out but the main system here does have a rhyme to the reason however, I'm completely over the rhyme I want to get in and out sometimes as soon as possible. Overall, a 4/5 star visit because it took way too long to go to the exit from the section, after finding my item directly, within five minutes, and then took me another 12 minutes to get out of the store. ,

Everything else was great, but that poor level of service was not the standard I've experienced in other Ikeas.
