Needed to get my eyebrows done before venturing to Los Angeles tomorrow and Hollywood was the hook up. Looked them up online and they had great reviews. Rolled through and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The entire time the lady that was doing my eyebrows was complementing me on their shape. I guess I am hard on myself because I don't see it, but she did and it made my day. It helped me realize that I do need to be less judgy of myself! It appears I spoke too soon and inaccurately: my eyebrows seemed to be completely unsymmetrical and thin due to poor lighting. When I looked at them again in different lighting, they were symmetrical and well-shaped. My apologies for the previous poor review. Now that I have seen them in good lighting, my eyebrows have a nice arch and are very cleaned up! Despite the fact that this technique was a bit painful, I would come back for these results. I've never been to this location. I'm a frequent visitor of the other location on 35th Ave. Since moving far on the East end I was forced to find a place closer. I Yelp'd a few places near my job in Tempe but settled on this one. I'm glad I did. Anu did a great job! Immediately upon walking in it smelled a little, just a funny stale smell. It threw me off a bit. There were 2 women waiting and 1 person in the chair. Anu was quick. She finished all 3 of those women within 20 mins and I was out in 10. I had 30 more minutes to spare during my lunch break. I'd visit again for sure! read more

I found this cute threading place as I was roadtrippin through Arizona. My eyebrows were growing and it was time for threading! I always worry that I won't find a good place but was happy to find this one! Only one thing that turned me off is that there is a $2 redeem threading offer on Yelp, and when I got there I was told I needed to have printed it out to use it. There's 2 things that turned me off about this: 1. I haven't owned a printer in like over 5 years. I never use one as everything is digital now so this put me at a disadvantage and made me feel jipped that I can't get my $2 off and I checked in as requested. 2. I'm traveling and am a tourist in AZ. I'm sure there are other tourists - and why would they have a printer. Plus it doesn't say that you have to print it in yelp. I'm a marketing strategist so I'm all about businesses creating an amazing customer experience. So this experience was less than perfect. So I recommend the owners allow people to use their $2 check in from yelp from their phone to avoid more disappointed customers. BUT I gave it 5 stars because Sarita who did my eyebrows was awesome, really sweet, and did a fantastic job on my eyebrows so thank you! read more

$7 for eyebrow threading, make sure to leave a tip. These ladies can work their magic and have you in and out within a few minutes. Have been going for a while with my two teenage girls. One talked her boyfriend into getting his eyebrows done and now he is a regular too. Had to wait once for less than 10 minutes, but every other time we've gone it's been no waiting. We all walk out happy every time we go in. It can hurt if you have a lot of new hair to pluck or if you aren't used to it, but after a while the pain seems to get easier. I've done plucking, waxing, sugaring, and threading. By far getting threading done is the least painful, quickest, and cheapest method of hair removal. We don't go anywhere else to get our eyebrows done and will only trust these ladies to do them. read more

Usually have amazing experiences here. Not sure if the lady I got was new but it was horrible. She was pulling each hair one by one with the thread. My eye brows were so uneven and not shaped. She blamed it on the previous place messing my eyebrow shape up but I only go here. I'll just have to start requesting specific people now or go to the another location read more

When i went inside this morn I was looking for the young lady that jas done my brows several times before but she wasn't there (you get use to your person). But i signed in and the ipad tells you your wait time. Once u sign in you get sent an email saying 9 th brow threading free. The young lady called me up and did a great job on the brows. I was in there maybe 7 minutes and when I came out, someone had poured a cola drink all over my windshield and front/sides of car. I noticed the windshield and wiped it clean, but it was not till the next day that I noticed the cola all over the hood and sides. Nasty thing to do to a luxury car. Old review: The wait on the weekends is awful And even though there is a sign-in sheet they ask "who is next?" when there are 10 people who came in around the same time. The first time I came here I was scared because I do not let just anyone work on my eyebrows. Threading is way better than getting anything wax I've been coming here for over 2 -3 Years and it never fails how amazing their customer service is. I don't have a certain girl I see when I come. I have came several times and they all have done an amazing job on my eyebrows and upper lip. Threading in South Phoenix! Woot woot! When I moved to Phoenix 5 years ago, threading salons were few and far between. There still aren't a ton of them around, but they're definitely popping up more and more. The problem, however, is that most of the threading salons in Phoenix charge waaaaaay too much compared to other cities -- at least $20 for lip and eyebrow. Hollywood Beauty charges $13 for both! Ambrita (sp?) did a very nice job -- a little thinner than I normally like -- but it can take a couple of appointments to get it just right. The owners are very nice as well. They're offering a free eyebrow threading until May 14, 2013, so stop by if you need to get rid of that uni-brow! read more

I'm sad to have to even re-review this place. The service has become terrible. They definitely need to hire more people because everyone's time is valuable. I get there and I see two people are ahead of me and I'm already having a bad feeling but because I am a loyal customer, I figured they lady would be fast. She wasn't. Then the other lady that was in there was threading this woman's entire face. She was still in the chair by the time I left. Anyway, more people are coming after me and this lady is still doing the same person's brows from the time I walked in and its been about 5-8 minutes. So finally she finishes with that person, the next girl is next, she spends about 8 minutes on her, and then the girl before me was next. The lady that does the eyebrows phone rings and she answers!!!! I'm sorry but that should wait until you're finished. So she's on the phone getting like a phone number or something from the person on the phone, so she takes a good 5 minutes to be on the phone. After she hangs up, she starts the girl's eyebrows then upper lip. The phone rings AGAIN! I'm getting so irritated but I needed my brows done. So she finishes the girl and then it's my turn. She tells me "can you hang on for one minute I have to make a phone call". Huh?! Oh my time must not be valuable at all (mind you, I have people waiting in the car for me because I tell them she's fast, it won't take more than 5 minutes). She's on the phone for like 3 minutes, it's sooooo ridiculous (and still the other lady is getting her face done while this is all going on). I have sympathy for people but when it comes to business, that should be your priority. My brows turned out great as usual but I was highly disappointed with the service, and I am starting to question if I should ever go back until they get more people. She had about 6 other people after I left. I wished them the best because there is nothing worse than sitting there longer than you need to. All in all, I was in here for almost 30 minutes.
