New to the area and tried a few other places and wasn't happy I'm so happy I went to Hollywood nails!! I get UV gel and Sarah has done an amazing job every time from a new set to fills... shape, color, making sure the length is good for me. The staff is so, so nice and welcoming.. I never feel rushed. Mei did an outstanding job on my dip powder manicure. She was very thorough and made sure my nails were perfectly shaped the way I like them and the dip powder was not applied too thickly. My manicure was beautiful the last two times i've been here I would definitely recommend to a friend.

made an appointment for 2:15. was not seated / started on until 2:45. nail color did not match the swap at all despite the number matching up. my guess is that they are watering down the polishes. technician said my nails were done but there was polish all over my fingers & skin? had to have someone else come over and fix. she then filed the sides of my nails to clean up extra polish on my skin (?) but then removed the polish from the sides of my nail. gel nail chipped the next day. read more

Looking at the reviews and what people have said 5 or 6 years ago should not influence going to Hollywood Nail Spa, as it's changed "hands" (punny I know) since then. I get a powder dip manicure with Sarah and she is incredible. Mei is phenomenal for a pedicure. I can only speak for these two ladies as they are who I have received those services from. Prices are much more reasonable over other establishments in our area. Plus, if something is not what you wanted, they will make it right. read more

I read the reviews for here but still decided to try it out since it's so close to my house.. please heed the reviews. There is no sanitary measures taken here. My manicure Was done on top of the shavings of the acrylic fill who was sitting there before me. They tried to charge me $48 for a mani pedi, when it was 32. I've given this place 3 attempts to be better each time I've gone they've been worse. I had an appointment at 11pm and didn't get seated until 12:40 yes 12:40. I asked for a simple color set and she kept trying to push me to change my mind to a different color. Took way too long. The second time all I came in to do was take my acrylic nails off and paint my actual nails they had me put my hands in a bowl of nail polish remover for over an hour, it did absolutely nothing I asked if there was another way to get them off and she told me no so I sat there for another half hour, finally they came to take them off and realized it wasn't working, so they wasted all that time. I was fed up and decided to not get my nails painted but to just take them off. I left paying them $25 to have my hands soak in nail polish remover for hours just to have flakey nails and dry finger tips. I will never be going back here again seriously don't come here worst nail salon out there read more

THIS WAS THE LAST TIME !!! I've been here a few times and am far from impressed . This time I paid extra for a specialty pedicure and it didn't even come close to a regular pedicure elsewhere. My heels and toes were cracking the same day (as soon as the fake oil they put on dried up. No dead skin was filed away. Then I paid another $ 5.00 for dragon eye gel, which didn't work. They did not charge the $5 extra at the end after numerous attempts and failure each time. I ended up with a different color on each foot. I had what seemed to be a 3 minute manicure with no polish at all and payed $50 for both. Not only a waste of money I also wasted my entire morning. read more

Absolutely horrible. Terrible service, terrible job. I got an ANC manicure and the women who did my nails was so rude. I asked her to NOT use the big brush that they use to take off excess powder because ITS ILLEGAL to even have in the first place and it's disgusting looking and she told me I couldn't come back??? Two days later my nails are cracking and I realize she didn't even cover my FULL NAIL! So I come back in and she starts yelling at me. I literally can not believe this place lol. read more

If this wasn't so close to my house I wouldn't bother. Not a very good pedicure. It's freezing outside and I got treated to cold towels. Was so wanting those nice toasty towels. I love the way they do nails. The guy that does them is so gentle. Most places I go my fingers hurt after they file them. He made sure they were perfectly filed and the polish was on the nail completely. He also made sure they were completely dry before he applied the gel! read more

If there was a possibility to give negative stars that's exactly what I would do! I dealt with Michael each time, and the first time was fine, however the second and third (ultimately the final time), were terrible. My UV gel nails fell off after two days of wearing them (presumably due to how thick he did the coat), they were not even filled all the way! When I called to let him know I wanted to move my appointment up a week because of my nails falling off he claimed it was my fault and that he didn't know what I could be doing with my hands to make them fall off. Has he ever heard of the customer is always right? Obviously not because he doesn't value his customers at all! After being told not to tell him about the flaws in his work, and being told to leave, that's exactly what I did. If you're ever unhappy with his work don't bother telling him, he'll just show you the door. read more

Terrible terrible terrible completely sliced up my cuticles will never be back. I paid for a mani pedi and nails chipped the next day. One cut on the cuticle was so deep it reopened 3 TIMES that night. And the woman doing my nails suggested it was my fault for talking when she was the one talking to me. I took my 8 year old goddaughter here for a pedicure and though they did fix her polish after she smudged it- they charged me $18!!! For a kids pedicure without a design I think that's outrageous. My expectations were not at all high since I had visited before and know that there are other nail salons in the area FAR better than this one, but at the last minute, I needed a manicure and figured they wouldn't be busy and it was close to home. I made a 2:30 appointment, as I had a wedding that evening and was pressed for time. Upon arriving, I was not greeted and stood there (others had taken the few chairs available to customers) waiting to be acknowledged until 10 minutes had passed. Looking around, I realized quickly they had overbooked themselves with the other 6 customers who did not look happy. I finally spoke up at 2:45 to say I'd made an appointment and was on a time schedule. When they finally took me, I witnessed a woman with 2 young girls paying at the register, telling them it'd been nice to let her know that she was going to wait for over an HOUR and she'd never be back because of poor service, then another woman in a pedicure chair who was left alone only to have the water in the foot soak overflow onto the floor so my nail tech jumped up in the midst of cutting my cuticles to tend to the flood area. After what seemed like FOREVER and sitting for double the time I planned on, I received a sloppy polish job with an awful smelling greenish-looking "top coat" in an OPI bottle. I told the man I had no time left to dry and must leave and he apologized to me for the wait/length of time. I knew I would NEVER return, even in last-minute desperation and would stick to the other area nail salons that are tried and true and CLEAN. My decision to never return was solidified when after 24 HOURS, my polish was completely chipped and I had done nothing with my hands except attend a wedding !! I took my 2 daughters there today, and was so disappointed with the service and quality of the work. The nail polish that we had to choose from we're all old and dried out, the place was dirty but the worst part of our experience was the quality of work on my daughters nails, there were spaces between her natural nail and the tips. When u told them about it, the women was angry that she had to fix it, when I showed her that there was still space on a few of the nails and I was concerned about water getting trapped and causing fungus on her nails, I was told there was nothing that they could do about it, but next time they would take the tips off and start over. Worst nail salon ever!!! I have been coming here on and off for the past few years ONLY because it is 2 miles from house. Everytime I have been disappointed about something with that visit. Well today was the last straw. The whole time the girl was doing my nails she seemed angry. She was not gentle with me and didn't even say hello or how are you, so I felt uncomfortable the whole time. Then a customer was not happy with her daughter's nail and asked nicely if someone could fix it. The woman doing my nails started screaming an employee's name to come and he didn't so she kept screaming. She then asked me what base color I wanted but I didn't understand her so I said sorry I didn't hear you and she screams just inches from my face "what base color?" I could not believe it. I said why are you yelling at me? She then got up saying nothing and went to fix the young girls nail. After a few minutes a different girl came and filed and put the base color on my nails. Then the rude woman came back and did my French manicure. I noticed the air brush design was messed up, I asked her to fix it she said the top coat will fix it which it didn't. She also cut my nails to short. They are always rude here and not very nice but today was the last straw. Everytime I have gotten my nails done here they are not very good. Do not go here they do poor work and are very nasty, like you are inconveniencing them by being there. They gave me my last horrible experience I cant believe they are still open.
