Do not waste your time or money at this nail salon. The inside is nice but that is really it. I got the simplest nails and the sides are not painted. The women went so short on one of my nails I was getting worried and almost left from the start. I should have. And the pricing didn't add up. A full set with gel polish and cuticle trim. When I double check the amount online I was aggravated. I should have walked back in and asked what was going on the with price. But I was to aggravated. Worst place I've ever gotten my nails done. I asked for a gel full set. They left my cuticles on. Didn't touch or fix ANYTHING. Left the dried gel around my cuticles on top of not fixing them at all. When I asked why they looked so awful she said I needed to pay extra for a manicure if I wanted that stuff fixed. Never in my life have I heard of such a thing. They charged me $75 for nails that look like my 6 year old niece did them. After I fought with them and got charged an extra $20 to do what they were supposed to do in the first place, the lady ripped my cuticles off and made me bleed. I would give 0 stars if I could. Really comes down to super poor quality and RUSHED. In and out for a pedicure in 20 minutes. Scrub and lotion were only applied to legs not the feet. Polish was only on half the nail, not the entire thing. Place is empty- no need to rush. Very disappointing when a pedicure is supposed to be relaxing. read more

A toxic, dirty, no-ventilation, shit hole. I only had a gel manicure but could not WAIT for it to be over as the smell of all the acrylic was making me dizzy and giving me a headache. My nail "tech" used all old previously used equipment on my nails during manicure. I asked her to please use a fresh and new nail file and she had to get up to get a new one. So gross! The place was so dirty and seeing her use all equipment with old nail dust on it made me sick. Nail fungus is no joke. She also had a big, red and bumpy rash on the inside of her wrist and I was praying she wouldn't touch me with it. Overall, ga-ross. read more

I had a very easy service request. I requested a full set acrylic nails and selected a regular nail polish.The girl I was getting the service from kept pushing me to have gel polish instead. I declined. She was sloppy in polish application. I still had fill powder on my finger pads after the service was complete. She initially quoted me one price but when I came back from their ATM she said it was actually $10 more. I asked why she didn't quote correctly before and she wouldn't answer. I don't often get my nails done because it's expensive but it's my moms birthday so I brought us to get manicures and pedicures. I made an appointment a few days before for 10am. We waited around 15 minutes and my mom was taken first for the pedicure then I was taken for my dip powder (it makes sense to do a pedicure first but ok whatever). The woman did my nails and by the time she was done my mom was getting her gel on. The lady told me to wait for my mom then I informed her again I was getting a pedicure too. I then had a pedicure done where I requested the same color. I know it can be difficult to find a close closer with dip but the color really was a whole shade off. When she was done she brought me to have my nails dry and didn't tell me how long I should wait. I assumed she'd come back and tell me. Nope. I waited for 15 minutes then looked at my nails and one had chipped. Another lady came over and said they'd redo it but that my toenails with regular polish would take "hours" to dry. Huh? I have insta dry nail polish from CVS that has regular polish drying in 60 seconds. I denied because we had been there for 2 hours already and I just wanted to leave. I asked if I should leave and was told that it was up to me. 10:15 I was told to pick a pedi chair by the woman who scolded me for being late. Sat down ... No one said anything for 15 minutes before they came to fill up the pedi water. Pedi was fine but after being treated so poorly I couldn't enjoy my time there. I won't be returning. Well I would give them zero stars if I could for today's experience! My daughter went in for a full set and pedicure. I will start by saying the man that did her pedicure did a good job and She was happy with that part of it. However when it came time for her nails she showed a picture and was told she could do that after spending an hour and a half and telling her she was not happy she continued to be rude and said "I know how to do my job" and never tried to fix what she was not happy with she even picked my daughter's nail length for her! She was absolutely rude and unprofessional. Also these nails cost $70 for something she was not happy with and looked nothing like the picture. After giving her the money she said "What no tip and my daughter said no I was not happy with my nails! After going to Hollywood Nails for years and buying family and friends gift certificates there as well it is safe to say we will never go there again and will share this experience with family and friends as well! read more

I moved to Dartmouth in May 2019 from Northern RI, about 45 mins away. This was the first nail salon I tried since moving here and have been going here since. The owner Holly is very sweet and makes sure if you don't like something, it will be fixed. Shes very knowledgeable and a hard worker, as so is her husband and the rest of her staff. Since I started coming here, they have relocated down the street to a beautiful new place that they remodelled themselves. Putting in a lot of hard work, time and effort to get this place up and running on time along also working 6 days a week. Its much more modern, stylish, and welcoming at their new location: now 17 Faunce Corner rd. I love it here! And I love the owners. read more

Unfortunately my experience was not great. Tips were glued on messily and then the technician took a file to the sides of my nails resulting in two cuts, one deep and still painful. When the cut happened I asked that the finger not be dipped in a communal dip powder and they said that they wouldn't use dip on the bloody finger, but then they dipped the cut in a communal powder, which resulted in so much pain. That communal dip powder now has traces of my blood and I am susceptible to a serious infection. I then had to ask again more forcefully to not use Dip powder on the throbbing finger again and was given a bit of attitude, but they finally listened. I still had to pay half price for my service, but half price wasn't good enough my hands are all cut up and in pain. My nails feel textural and not smooth, This experience has made me think twice before getting my nails done. I do not recommend this facility. read more

I went for a mani and pedi. The nail tech cut my toe and my finger. My finger was bleeding (literally dripping blood) and she didn't even notice. I had to tell her can you get me something to clean the blood. Then as my nails were drying I noticed it was clumpy in a couple of fingers. I asked if she could fix them. Rather than removing the polish she tried to polish over. Finally she removed the polish and redid 3 nails. After they were dried I noticed all my nails had little bumps. The 3 she rushed repolishing were clumpy. The polish wasn't smooth at all. It looked like a 5 year did my nails. I should have turned around and gone back but she did such a poor job why go back to get the same. I had to go for a polish change at another salon the next day. Very disappointing read more

What was great: the technician, "Jen," was super friendly and did an amazing job on my pedicure and manicure. My nails looked perfect and even though this was not a "gel" job, they stayed that way for more than two weeks. The foot/leg massage was so good! What was not great: walking in and watching people WITHOUT an appointment walk right past me and get served before me. Not only was I passed over several times, but the owner of the establishment then proceeded to complain to one of her staff about me because I asked why I was still waiting. I was looking through the nail color selections and the nail technician realized that I picked up close to the same shades so she suggested a shade for me. I received a gift card to this location and I was very disappointed with the service I received. My manicure was rushed no cuticle oil was used until I told them and the lady working on my nails couldn't be older than 14. Hate to say it but this was the worst nail experience I have ever had. First off, I was in there for about 3 hours (12:45-3:15) for a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax. I was in a bit of a rush so I made an appointment... They never asked for my name and they did not honor the time they told me once I arrived. Normally I wouldn't complain but I saw this happen to most people that came in while I was there. The woman next to me had waited for 4 hours for a quick fill! Not only that, but they don't finish your service at one time. I bopped around to 4 different chairs and the guy was going from person to person doing nails back and forth. I think this was in order to sit more people than they can handle while still "servicing" them... My services were not bad but he did not do what I wanted on my nails, very pushy to do something else. I showed a picture and everything, it was simple. They need a better receptionist who can block out appointments properly so they are not over booked. Will not be returning. read more

They have a wonderful staff with many technicians and chairs. Also have quite a bit of pedicure chairs so your wait is pretty minimal. Own one of the techs is just as fantastic.
