The service of the staff is wonderful but I requested and fullset in acrylic and what they did was a dipping I was very disappointed since as a nail technician you must do what the client requests since it is the one who pays. I still look at my nails and it bothers me to see that I pay for something that I didn't request. I came to this place to fix another salons mistake and the one lady (I think she goes by "T") did a really good job so I came back a few weeks later for a full, T did my nails again and I loved them, I came back today and left with very messy and uneven nails I would only recommend T for sure. Now I have to go pay somebody else to fix this, I don't even understand how she thought this was ok! I'm very upset. I won't Be back unfortunately. read more

Seemingly good-amazing prices, friendly service. I decided to venture out and try a bit of glitter on each nail, showed her a pic-3x!!! it turned out looking like glitter threw up on me. Nothing was even or matching, different amounts of glitter on each nail. If she didn't know how to apply glitter, then don't do it. My friend did dip , the tech burned her over 5x, didn't say sorry-then my friend kept asking her tech for shorter length, after telling her shorter 5-6x, she didn't do anything close to acceptable-guess it's what you have to deal with when down the cape. Went here to try a local place as I have been going out of sandwich. They seemed nice, although they don't really talk to you. I got a gel fill and polish and it cost $45!!!!! That is the price of a FULL SET elsewhere! That's insane! She cut my nails too short and they are really fat at the bases and thin on top so they will likely break before I even hit 2 weeks. Not to mention it is filthy inside! Nail dust everywhere, reusing same tools, gross! That on top of over priced, never again!! read more

Tony has always done exactly what I've asked him to do with my nails, and when he is not available, Tommy is also very good. Hollywood Nails, under Tony's new ownership, along with Mimi and the crew, is the only place I'll go for my nails. I had the dip done to my nails and it did not last more more than two days. I had them done at a different salon previously which lasted at least three weeks. While they were doing my nails at Hollywood, they cut four of my fingers with the sander causing them to bleed. The color that they first put on my nails had a defect. They also agreed and asked if I wanted to stay and have my nails redone. I did this, it was very painful as they had to put the acetone on my four cut fingers. I was there for two hours I left with the bleeding nails, a half-done job As they did two coats instead of the three, remanence from the first color that they put on as they did not completely clean it off when they added the second color. read more

This was my second visit to Hollywood nails. I called ahead of time to see how much of a wait there was and upon arrival I was taken right in. Aly who did my pedicure was great! I am self conscious about a red spot on my leg, so before the pedicure, I informed Aly of red spot and that it is not contagious (it looks like ringworm on my leg). Her response made me feel relaxed and normal. She took her time on the pedicure and did a great job. The place was cleaner this time compared to the last time I went. I'll be back again. read more

Tony & Mimi (owners) are absolute sweethearts. I work in Sandwich but live over the bridge and have had a hard time finding somewhere consistent, for the last 8 months or so I've been going to Hollywood Nails about every 3 weeks for a fill and they do such a great job. My polish doesn't chip and I really feel like I get the longest wear out of my manicure. They have a great sense of humor, and are pretty fast. I've seen their relationships with more regular customers and definitely seem to go above and beyond for them! Prices are great for the Upper Cape too. Highly recommend! read more

Horrible experience. Went in for a color change on my toes and a dip on my nails. The nail technician who clearly couldn't understand English put Shellac top coat over my dip, melting my dip under the shellac after she insisted I put my hands under the ultraviolet hand heaters. When she realized what she did she then attempted electric nail file to remove the shellac top coat and replaced it with dip top coat. By this time it's been 2.5 hours of complete torture and my nails look completely horrible.I asked her to remove everything and let the manager know what had happened. He then made me pay to 12.00 for the toe nail polish change. Are you kidding me? Seriously horrible customer service. I told him that I would not be returning ever. This visit was my second attempt at this salon. I hadn't returned in months because I had gotten a toe infection there during my last pedicure. The girl who cut my toenails cut my big toe and made it bleed attempting to remove a in grown toe nail. Never again. I should have learned from my last horrible experience there. I have gone to this place off and on when my regular place wasn't available, never been tremendously impressed, but the last time was definitely THE LAST TIME. They've had a lot of turnover in staff; I question whether a number of them are licensed judging by their work. Reusing cuticle clippers between customers. Multiple bleeding areas after this. "Half-fast" (say it quickly) job on toes, one coat of polish, sanded one heel so deeply it cracked and was painful for weeks-- I have NEVER had this happen before. Didn't see pedi tanks sanitized between users. Crooked white acrylic w/ the pink and white, thick and thin spots over entire nail. There is always a little kid in there playing loud videos, not restful, owners say they won't let him use earbuds or headset and won't send him to a back room. Sometimes there are two running around and shrieking, unprofessional for a facility for adults. When I mentioned it I got a very hostile response, "Just a little boy, just a kids video." I recognize the need for daycare but I wasn't the only customer annoyed. And to top it all off, the costs vary from visit to visit, always too high, AND I got a green fungus spot under two nails within a few days. Never again. Never again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. The woman who did my nails today rushed her way through it, didn't say a single word to me. She did talk a LOT to the other workers in their language, which is fine, BUT she kept looking at me and the other customers in the salon as if they were talking about us directly in front of us, so rude! She didn't do a good job either. I got a gel mani and there are bubbles all over the place, she didn't even take off all of the nail polish that I had on before so you can see it on the sides, and there is nail polish on my cuticles where it should NOT be. The shaping is also not good. I used to come here every time but I think within the past few years the ownership has changed. I will not be coming back. Very disappointed. read more

New to town and my mother in law and I went to get our nails done. My mother in law got a fill and gel polish. The gentleman that did her nails did a great job. I had SNS nails done by Mimi and she was awesome. Clean nail salon and reasonable prices. We made an appointment and had to wait 10 minutes. No big deal because the wait was worth it.
