I was in bad need of getting my eyebrows cleaned. I looked up the reviews of this place and within a second of sitting in the chair I knew I'm at the right place. She was such a through professional and her speed and precision with which she shaped my eyebrows evidenced the amount of experience she must have had. I think she hardly took 5 minutes to shape my brows. Alrighty, so I'm almost hesitant to write a review because it might inspire more people to go here then it won't be my lil secret anymore! I live walking distance away and was going to another spot nearby but this one is more spacious, reasonably priced and the young lady who does the threading is fierce. I think she has a vendetta out for facial hair because she attacks it like it stole her purse. I always leave this place with my upper lip feeling like a baby's butt. I believe it's walk-in only but I've never had a bad wait. You can tip with your card. And make sure to tip. This gal is good! read more

I discovered this amazing place while showing my brother and his family around Hollywood. $10 for eyebrow threading! You can't beat the price. She also did an amazing job. I've been coming to Mukti for a few years now. I'm always in and out. She takes great care of her customers and I know damn well that I'm not the only regular that she has. If I could, I would walk around Hollywood and west Hollywood directing customers toward her place. There's plenty of parking on the side streets. I usually drop a quarter or 2 into the meter and that's always enough. It never takes her more than 5 minutes. Check it out! Great price and great service! read more

I come here occasionally because it's the closest eyebrow threading place to my apartment and they usually do a good job. I came today needing to get my eyebrows done before I have to be somewhere at 12:30. I came right at 11, when it says they open, except they were closed. Gave them the benefit of the doubt (maybe stuck in traffic), but 21 minutes later they're still closed. Not good business to not open on time, and be almost half hour late. Oh my gosh! I don't know where to begin! This place is amazing!!! My first time getting my eyebrows done ever. I've always had a good shape(thanks mom) but they needed cleaning up. After some persuading, my sister talked me into going to this little hole on the wall place she had stumbled upon. I did. I sat on that chair, and she automatically new what to do. She new I didn't want so much done other than to clean it and that's exactly what she did! She's amazing I can't thank her enough. Very nice environment, she's friendly and does small talk! Doesn't take card only cash or cash app/Venmo and didn't mention it until after the service. After doing my eyebrows, she wouldn't even brush the hairs off my face or offer me a Kleenex to wipe it off myself. I had to say something and when I did she mumbled under her breath in a language that I don't understand and when I asked what was said she was like "why are you giving me a hard time". I told her that I wasn't giving her a hard time but didn't appreciate that she left the hairs on my eyebrows and immediately tried to take my money before even cleaning me up. Imagine if you went to get your nails done and they clip your nails and just leave the shavings on you and don't clean it off? Like what? So weird used to like this place but I don't like when owners start acting entitled to my business because I'll go elsewhere. read more

Customer service is always awesome. There are sometimes other people threading besides the main owner, and I'll be honest, they can be hit or miss, one time one of the assistants cut me.
