The day of my session, I received an email from Dr. Bianca Clark stating that they needed to do more research about my insurance in which my primary is Cigna and my secondary is Medicaid. Yes, they are in network with my primary commercial insurance and do not require a pre-auth but out of network with my secondary however, I receive a message from Kara Olimene and she states that due to not being able to bill my secondary they would be serving me for free which is completely false. All OCS would have had to do was bill through the primary and I would be responsible for the remainder of the bill as I was willing to pay. No different then only having my primary commercial insurance without a secondary. As a regional manager for a major medical company specializing in insurance and authorizations, I have never heard of this. Instead of offering self pay, she sent me a message after I stated that I have never heard of this "good luck". I have dealt with behavioral health on many levels and have never had a company not be empathetic or even offer alternatives. Will not recommend to my patients, family or friends. We will also be posting a google review as well with a presence of over 10 million views per post.
