In the end of Jun 2017 I hosted a shower for my niece. I asked Diane, the owner of Holy Cannoli, if she would make the cake for me. I wanted a particular design for the cake, as well as, decorating it with the color scheme my niece had for the wedding. I sent Dianne, a picture of the way I wanted the cake to look. Dianne followed it perfectly. She even worked in cut flowers, that I furnished her, for the top of the cake. A month before the event, I asked if she could also make individual cookies in the shape of bride dresses that could be given to the guests. She researched to find a cookie cutter in the shape of a bride dress and was able to make the cookies I wanted. She even followed three different designs for decorating the cookies that were in the pictures. She made 3 1/2 inch sugar cookies, decorated them with the different designs, then put them into special plastic bags and tied the bags with ribbons of the color scheme of my niece. Because the cake needed to be refrigerated until the shower, Dianne was willing to deliver the cake and the cookies (for a small delivery fee), to my home before the shower. It was a huge help to me and I appreciated it. Everyone raved at the beautiful cake Dianne had created. It was a "masterpiece" and tasted just as good as it looked. The cookies were an added treat for all the guests and I found many of the women taking pictures of both the cake and the cookies. I felt the final cost for everything, was very reasonable. Dianne made a three tiered cake for our wedding and it was beautiful but more importantly extremely delicious! We got two flavors, almond cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream as well as carrot cake and both flavors were amazing!! I'm not usually a huge fan of wedding cake but this was moist, flavorful, and delicious. The frosting is the perfect blend of indulgent and creamy but not overly heavy or sweet, which i find to be a problem with most cakes. We had leftover cake after and my friends and I ate it every day until it was gone! Dianne also made us petit fours, cookies and mini pastries and all of them were beautifully made and extremely professional looking as well as delicious. They were a hit at the wedding. Diane at Holy Cannoli did my son and daughter in law's wedding cake in October 2014. They looked for a bakery in the area of the wedding and scheduled several tastings. Holy Cannoli was our first stop - after meeting Diane and tasting her cakes the couple cancelled their other appointments. In one year's time we have gotten birthday cakes, the wedding cake, rehearsal dinner cake and baby shower cake - we live about 1.5 hrs from Fairport but the newlyweds welcomed their first son in October and already plan to have Diane make his first birthday cake. The cake was absolutely exquisite. She went out of her way to create something she never had before and it looked and tasted AMAZING! She made the cake for my 24th birthday and it was a HUGE Hennessy bottle that looked like it had just been shipped to me from the factory in the crate. The cake was almond flavored with a chocolate almond ganache and the cake was so light and fluffy and the flavors were outstanding! Will definitely be ordering another cake for another event. Although I would advise that if you have a large cake (not sure for a smaller one) that it be left out for a good 3-4 hours before serving not 1-2 because first experience with cutting and tasting the cake was very hard and could barely taste the flavors, but after completely thawed the cake was truly perfect! read more

Dianne is incredible! She is so talented and really easy to work with. Her quality of work is amazing. She works out of her house in a second industrial kitchen and it is impeccable. I have seen other bakers that work out of their houses and Dianne's set up is by far the best. Everything is super clean and professional. She has multiple different options depending on the size of your wedding and really takes the time to show you different options. (Size of the cake, sheet cakes) She is very reasonably priced and her cake is delicious. We got the carrot cake for our wedding cake and the almond raspberry sheet cake for serving with our wedding cake. Our guests loved it! I would recommend Holy Cannoli over and over again! read more

My husband and I were married July 31st and with vivid 19 the date was moved 3 times. Each time Diane was kind understanding and never quietness our need to push our cake order back. She kept in contact with me. Even as I became convinced the day would never come she would give me hope. Now, this cake, it surpassed what I had imagined. The beauty. The art. Dianne crafted a beautiful and delicious cake for my son's first birthday party. I sent her the invitation with our theme (Bears/Buffalo Plaid) via email and she gave me some great ideas about what the cake could look like and what flavors were best. The final result was so cute and matched the theme perfectly with a big black bear on top of a plaid blanket. More importantly, the cake was so tasty, and when you're having your first piece of cake EVER, this is pretty important stuff! Dianne was very prompt in communications and was great to work with. We used Dianne for our wedding cake on 8/25/18 and couldn't be happier with the results. We heard great reviews about her carrot cake, so when we sampled it we knew that it had to be our wedding cake. We showed her a few photos of what we wanted and Dianne made us a very elegant 3 tier cake with a butter cream frosting. She exceeded our expectations with the cake and the taste.
