Every single time I go in there to pick up my daughter, there are multiple babies red in the face, basically choking they are crying so hard with no acknowledgement from the staff. I understand that they can't tend to babies every time they cry right away, but there is NO EXCUSE to why they are being completely ignored and neglected for over 10 minutes while I am there. The staff don't even pretend they care when I am around, so I wonder what happens when none of the parents are around. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first couple times as I know it is a hard job to be caring for multiple babies, but I have more children in full time daycare and have NEVER experienced anything like this before. My child's first day there, she got scratched in the face "by a friend". How are you allowing the babies that can crawl and walk to be around my newborn long enough to claw her in the face? It is also extremely expensive and you can basically pay someone for 1:1 care for the amount that they charge per hour while they can have up to like 12 babies in there at once!

They always keep parents informed of happenings with the kids. There is always a warm welcome, clear expectations for kids and parents, quality instruction, and so much love given daily by all of the teachers and staff. Management hires unqualified care givers and then just fires them. This was very detrimental to our child's development - especially since he was being potty trained (at least at home. The school was just confusing for him) I also feel that the facility was not very clean, especially now having experience elsewhere. Our child constantly had diarrhea, developed warts, and was sick more than normal. Between the "dirty" classrooms, unqualified staff, poor food, and horrible management, I would NEVER recommend this place to any family. Erin Groves was awful to work with. She lied to parents and staff (I was told this by the people who were watching my child) and was hypocritical about discussing behavior of children. When my son was bitten multiple times by the same child (hers, as the staff in Babyland told me), she would lie about the situation and place blame on other children, including my own. Staff were afraid of her and allowed exceptions for her daughter that would have had other families kicked out. If I can give any advice to parents looking for childcare, please take your business elsewhere. This is not a good environment - physically and emotionally/mentally - and is not nearly as safe as other centers. (There is no lock on the door and visitors are free to roam wherever and whenever they please.) **Update. To follow up from below. It was 2 years ago, so that goes to sho that turnover is high. There are some good teachers there, though. In the baby room, we liked our son's teacher. The two rooms after that were great. But the top management was the biggest issue I dealt with while there. There was some communication, but it was minimal. We were told by the office that we should have professional help with our child. Our pediatrician never said this to us. And then one friday, we received a call to pick up our child and not to return. (So how does a family handle Monday morning with work? We were obviously in daycare because that was our option. This all happened after my husband and I started to question staff turnover, missing diapers/supplies for our son, safety and cleanliness, and why "incident reports" were being issued.) Now, I gave it some time, and we have had NO issues since at another, facility. And one that is willing to participate in step up to quality (5 star rated). We were also never given any information on financial assistance.

But the transportation lapse on any given day is super inconvenient especially when you have to be at work before the kids have to be @ school. That was one of the main reasons we chose this daycare because of them being able to take them to and from school and even drop them off at home if in close enough radius.

The whole staff helped ease us into a great routine and now I'm forever thankful I sent her here. They really take great care of their kids. The preschool programs are amazing and in preschool my daughter is beyond ready for kindergarten. She can read and write very well.
