Truly disgusting and inauthentic birria tacos. -- Over-cooked and mushy beef that had clearly been sitting in a warming pot for days and no detectable birria spices (e.g., cumin, chilis etc). It was just crock pot beef and a paltry portion at that. -- The cheese tasted like processed cheez whiz and not in a good way -- Soft soggy tortillas that hadn't been remotely griddled in consumme -- one of the best features of an authentic birria taco -- And luke-warm flavorless tiny cup of consumme The only upside was the salsa verde -- for which they tried to charge extra, but then I noted that I'd just paid $30+ for two orders of tacos. I will not return.

This review is solely about the birria tacos. They lack the depth of flavors, and it's salty. The store concept is similar to Qdoba or Chipotle by selection the ingredients that you want. There was only one gentleman who helped my order. He is friendly.

An interesting halal Mexican style cuisine and great option when needed for an office meeting. Found this spot randomly under healthy options for an office meeting and was able to put in an order online for a quick 30-minute pick up. Staff were very friendly and attentive where they let me try some of the sauces and packed me extra sauces so my team could try them. I ordered a tostada with shredded beef, protein bowl, 2 build-your-own bowls with honey chicken, a taco salad and a beef bowl. Safe to say my team devoured the food and wished they knew of this place sooner. Looking forward to adding them into my office lunch options and trying other options like their chocoflan. Price seemed reasonable, nice music, better than Chipotle and I will be back.

I'm always excited to see new local Mexican spots pop up, and this one is a gem! The menu is refreshingly simple yet customizable, with an impressive range of toppings such as jalapeños, corn, and mango salsa that really set it apart from chains like Chipotle. The variety is fantastic: bowls, quesadillas, crunch wraps, tacos, tostadas, and even a solid kids' menu which includes chicken tenders and other finger foods. Their chips are nicely seasoned, and I love that they serve queso (something you don't always find at Mexican eateries surprisingly). Vegetarians will be happy here too, with thoughtful options like tofu and fried cauliflower. Spice lovers will also appreciate the bold flavors woven throughout the menu. Best of all, the prices are incredibly reasonable especially welcome in today's economy. Next time I'm in Philly, I'll definitely be coming back for more!

The meat in the tacos was so dry that it was hard to chew and swallow. Some of the pieces were cooked to a crisp. No amount of salsa could make them better. I'm sorry I didn't take photos of the tacos, but trust me me I get no pleasure from leaving a bad review for this place; I am not lying or exaggerating. I thought they were going to be one of our local gems. I choked down a half a taco, gave the rest to my husband and he couldn't eat them either. The churros actually had raw batter in the middle and the outside was rubbery and hard at the same time. You could barely bite through it. I'm a cook and I know that that is about keeping the oil at an even temperature to get the inside done and not overcook the outside. Someone in the kitchen did not know what they were doing. The thing is, I have had their food before and it was pretty good. I don't know if there is a new chef or what happened, but I can't trust them after this experience.

Good: old fashioned, tri-mix of guac (liked the truffle one), steak tacos. Not so good:coco tartare app, I thought most of the other tacos were tried were very okay for the price and would not recommend (shrimp, pastor (one of my least favorite versions of pastor), one with habaenro (not spicy at all). Would have enjoyed some actual spicy salsa to go with it. Overall, I sadly can't really recommend it.
