I called and was pleasantly surprised that someone answered the phone. A lot of salons are closed on Mondays. I was told to come as soon as I could, they could take me now. I was introduced to Cammie she would be my colorist. I wanted partial highlights that were mainly at the crown. We had a mini consultation before she got started. Cammie suggested going a little past the crown to make the back blend better and to cut off an inch for my hair to look fuller...I took her advice on both suggestions. Then she began foiling me. I like that her foils were very tight to the crown. I was very happy with the end result. I would definitely go back again and highly recommend Cammie. I know this salon is nestled in the heart at a retirement community... But this is not your grandmother's salon. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I would definitely give this place 10 stars... I am not too sure about their hours on the weekend. If they are closed on the weekends they might want to rethink that. Most people work Monday through Friday and need to get their hair done then. If I were to close I would do it in the middle of the week Tuesday -Wednesday or Wednesday- Thursday.

I'm new to the area, and my neighbor is a regular here and raves about the nice job they do. I needed a 1930's daytime "Mom do," for an acting class scene. I called up, last minute on a Friday afternoon, in hopes someone might, maybe, be able to give my hair a little something. The person who answered the phone greeted me enthusiastically, and wasn't fazed at all by my request, nor the last minute nature of it. I arrived to a cheery welcome from all the staff, and was immediately treat to a proper hair wash, and gentle, but thoroughly rinsed scalp, using Redkin products. Wonderful experience: Speedy, deft and no drama, and the hair result? Excellent. You can see for yourself, my hair not only looks terrific, it really is a 1930's style, with beautifully coifed bangs and all. Tee was lovely to speak with, and not only knew what I meant, but delivered in no time at all. Great fun - I just need to add make-up and do my own thing - what more could you ask for? I'm thrilled with Tee's service - and the end-of-the day energy from everyone was lovely. The staff clearly get along, and liked having people in. I can't wait to go back again for another treatment. Halloween events and Holiday occasions are approaching - Based on this experience, and my understanding of her skills, I think you'll really enjoy having Tee come up with something amazing for you - I'll definitely be back soon, to try her range of hair expertise and I'll be sure to update.

I have been visiting Sally for about 5 years. I had incredibly overprocessed and damaged long hair. She was able to restore the damage and has worked with me through varied style requests ever since! Finding someone who is good at cutting really fine hare without leaving scissor marks is sometimes difficult as is someone who can shape/cleanup blonde brows and making them totally semetrical and properly shaped for my face. Well Katy knocked everything including color out of the park. It was also great because we had great conversations so I was never bored and waiting for it to end. There were just two problems. One, the color I chose was the exact same color as my natural hair, so it didn't turn out any different and nobody knew I even highlighted it. I didn't know when I chose it that it was the exact color as my hair, and it would have been really nice if she, as a professional would have corrected me and steered me towards a different color. I really wanted my hair to be a much lighter blonde. Now, that doesn't bother me that much, because although I wish she would have pointed out that that was my natural hair color, I did pick the color myself. The thing that really bothered me is a couple weeks after I got it done I tried to contact her again explaining that I wanted a lighter color. All I asked is when I can come back and try again and how much it will be because I wanted her to do it again. She ignored me! I tried again a week later and she ignored me again! Then a few days after that I tried one last time and she again did not respond. This is super unprofessional, and unfortunately I don't believe I will be going to her again. I can't rely on her to actually respond to me to make another appointment, and I don't know why she is doing this. Anyways I was hoping to make her my permanent hair stylist, but that isn't going to happen because she won't respond.
