Unfortunately, my experience at Holy Tacos in Grand Prairie was extremely disappointing. When I walked in, there were about seven people waiting for their orders, which I initially took as a good sign. I ordered the quesabirria tacos, along with steak, chicken, and pastor tacos, and waited patiently. Everyone who was there before me received their food, ate, and left while I continued waiting. Several delivery drivers also came in and picked up orders while I was still waiting. At that point, I had been waiting quite a while, but I was still trying to be patient. At one point, a staff member asked if I had ordered. I told her yes, gave her my name, and explained that I had been waiting. She simply said, "Okay," but unfortunately never checked on my order. Eventually, I had been waiting close to an hour, so I went back up and asked about it. One of the employees then grabbed food that had apparently been sitting there since shortly after I ordered. It was cold and clearly had been sitting out for quite some time. I pointed this out, and the staff debated whether they should remake the order. They ultimately decided to remake it, which I appreciated in theory, but unfortunately, the replacement food was just as disappointing. The chicken was old and dry, the beef was tough, and the pastor was rubbery and practically tasteless. After waiting nearly an hour, I expected much better quality and service. **Food: 1/5 ** **Service: 1/5 ** **Ambiance: 1/5 ** I'm always willing to give a restaurant the benefit of the doubt, especially when they're busy, but this experience was far beyond a normal wait time. The biggest issue wasn't just the wait, it was the lack of communication and the poor quality of the food after waiting so long. I ordered from here through Uber Eats today for lunch and i don't think its worth the price. The Chips and queso were good although the queso could have been hot, it got hard quickly. The birria tacos, while the tortilla used was delicious, the cheese used it just shredded cheese, not the mexican Oaxaca cheese meant for these tacos. The horchata is ok, very grainy. read more

I placed a pick up order and found parking to be easy. The cashier was friendly and didn't forget anything. I ordered the 3 taco plate with rice, beans, and a can of soda for 13.58 w/taxes. I had two pastor tacos and one barbacoa. The flavor of the pastor was bright and flavorful. The barbacoa was rich and tasty. I was given 3 lemon wedges, one for each taco which added a great deal of depth with the red and green salsas provided. I enjoyed the refried beans a great deal. There was something aromatic in the beans that left a lasting aftertaste that I enjoyed. The rice was plain, neither good nor bad, but nice when mixed with the beans. The soda options were varied, but I opted for a Coke Zero, which I appreciate. I could have used more napkins, however. The tacos were so juicy. I don't think the tiny napkin in the cutlery packet could ever be enough! Glad I took mine home and had an entire roll of paper towels! Try this place! It's so yummy. The tacos were absolutely amazing at a pretty good price. We got 7 tacos, rice, beans and a soda for $24. I like that price a lot. We got 4 fajita tacos in corn and they were some of the best corn tacos I've ever had. First time here drove by and saw it had to give it a shot. The place looks new very clean. They have a nice outdoor seating area. The restrooms are super clean as well. I ordered one breakfast burrito and one bean and cheese burrito came out to just a little over $10 not too bad. The bean and cheese burrito is good but definitely could use some salt. But I like salt. The Veggies Egg and Cheese burrito would have been better if they would have put eggs in it but it was packed with veggies. They are a little smaller than a lot of place but for breakfast it's no big deal.The red hot sauce had really good flavor but I think I liked the green more. Good little hole in the wall! Had the birria tacos and they were amazing. Also had the quesadilla which was super good too, it just had a little too much cheese. It became overpowering and couldn't taste the meat. Can't forget about the sauces either, tasty and full of flavor!
