This taco place was recommended from an employee from Cavender's across the highway on 360 so we took a chance. Ordered four tacos a bowl of Menudo. It was substandard to taste and ordered some Monterey nachos. They left ingredients off that was actually on the menu got a snarly look from the waitress, but she brought back the plate with the right ingredients and one chalupa with beans, lettuce, and cheese inside was clean and substandard dining area but we will not be returning at all. I know there is five star taco places way better than this if one thing they do have going for them is probably the desserts. Felt very uncomfortable there there was hardly anybody there the ambience was cold and stale. All the items we purchased was over $55 worth it was definitely not worth the price our mistake. Kudos to Pancho Tacos being one of the few restaurants open late in the area. Unfortunately, the flavor of the meats fell flat for me. The salsas didn't add much either. First time here, restaurant is clean and ordering at the counter was quick and easy. Menu is not overly crowded and seems like all the classics are on there. Ordered the chicken enchilada plate with red sauce. Sat at a booth, lots of room with mostly working folks taking their lunch break. Ambiance is a high 7, everything is clean and there is lots of room for bigger parties. My order came out quickly, delivered by a pleasant server and a "provécho" nod. Food was hot and the first bite of the enchiladas was a 10-star experience! What a killer, homemade, flavorful red sauce! The taste was unexpectedly stellar and the chicken/cheese accompaniment, with lettuce and tomatoes on the side, rendered me beyond content! I confess, this was my third straight day looking for a good place for enchiladas during my lunch break and I know now that this is the right place. The chicken enchilada portion size was huge, with a surprising amount of very good quality breast meat. There's a nice covered patio outside and more menu items for me to explore on my next visit, which are assured. Food is typically good. Lately its been going down hill, my last order was messed up they left all ingredients i didnt want, ok no biggie pick them off, still not hard to take the order as requested. There are no drink refills since they have soda cans and water bottles. But they are only $1, cheaper than anywhere else. Posole- flavorful, hot 5* Barbacoa tacos - 4* not fatty, juicy and lots of meat to tortilla ratio (not sure what other reviewers were complaining about.) Al pastor - flavorful 5* Horchata - 3* I was excited someone said the best horchata vs other places but it was okay, just really sweet. French fries - 4* crunchy and hot, seasoning was nice This place is actually great. Food did take time coming out but we are not at a fast food restaurant so ‍. Pancho Tacos is probably my top place to get authentic tacos out of everywhere I've been to thus far. I always get the steak tacos with corn tortillas (tacos de la fajitas con tortillas de maiz) with everything on it, onions and cilantro and all. Their steak pieces used are very juicy and the corn tortillas aren't drying either because of the oil, which some people might find to be too greasy but I like it as is. They provide two types of spicy sauces-- a red one and a green one. For every other taco place that I have been to, their green sauce is extremely spicy compared to the red spicy sauce, but for Pancho's, it's interestingly flip-flopped. The green sauce is pretty mild in spice level compared to the red one, but both are great condiments to add into your taco for a kick of flame. You are also given two slices of lime if you want a hint of sourness to your tacos. Pancho's has very friendly service. To-go orders are fairly quick as well. The employees don't speak English very well so I usually make it easier on them by ordering in Spanish, but if you don't speak Spanish, they'll understand English sufficiently enough to take your order :) Interior is very casual. Doesn't have that date-like ambience, but more of a warm, welcoming invite from your Hispanic friend's humble home. It's nice. Best tacos ever! read more

I don't see what the fuss is all about. Have any one of you guys been to Fuel City? My Asian Clan sweep in by way of Game 1 of the ALCS. I "yelped" this location and the party within agreed with my suggestion. I ordered (both on corn tortillas) (2) Barbarcoa (2) De Fajita (Steak) The below rating is based on the following factors A) Tortilla to meat "complimentary transivity factor." Does the meat go with the tor-teee-yah? Does the tor-teee-yah go with the meat? (Don't laugh...I'm serious about this...you will see later.) B) Freshness factor. Has it been sitting around? Is it made to order? C) Overall presentation/Restaurant cleanliness etc. Who the heck am I kidding? Does the stuff taste good? CONCLUSION (w/respect to above criterion) A) Tortilla broke when eaten. Was slabbed in greeze and attempted "warm up" on the grill. Extremely greesey. Barbarcoa was dry, de fajita was "flash" fried? When I bit into meat it ooozed with greese. Tortilla wasn't warmed properly. Was hard. Broke upon consumption. When properly heated, tortilla will be soft and complimentary with meat. B) Black cilantro. aka, dead cilantro/dead matter/non-green matter/you get my drift matter. I guess they don't wash/pick out the dead matter in the cilantro. Judging from the "dry-ness" of the barbarcoa, I came to the conclusion the meat was sitting there. C) Place is a dump. The signage is spray-painted "Pancho Tacos." Stopped by for a quick cheap lunch and was not disappointed. In fact, I was very pleased with the tacos. I got two fajita (beef) and one pastor (pork) taco and they were delicious. I actually ordered the special which is 3 tacos, rice, beans, lettuce and a soda for $5.99. The rice and beans weren't exciting so honestly next time I would probably just order about 5 tacos. Now before you say 'what a piggie!' the tacos are very small, probably 4" diameter. But they are full of awesomeness! The lady at the counter was very nice. They brought my food pretty quickly, along with a container of red sauce and a container of green sauce. I only tried the green. It looked creamy but it was quite spicy. It was nice on the lettuce as a "dressing". They have a bunch of agua frescas in several flavors and a variety of canned sodas and bottled water. The facility looks like an old wendy's or arby's or something. It's a bit run down but who cares, the tacos are da bomb! read more

Would give this place zero stars if it let me. I ordered 7 chicken tacos and they messed up our order. After eating 2 of the tacos we realized they were pork and we immediately informed the lady at the front. Eventually, they brought out the correct order, but they noticed two of the tacos were missing from the pork tacos and as trashy as this place is, the lady was rude and accused us of purposely eating the tacos and made us pay for them. I did not have a problem paying for them, but it was a mistake on their end and I have to end up paying for it. What was worse is my other friend does not eat pork due to religious reasons and they charged us for a half eaten taco. Ridiculous never coming here again read more

This place is great for a late night taco run. Food is fantastic and hits the munchie spot with a bang. Just a warning that you may have to wait, sometimes longer than expected. Barbacoa tacos are sure is worth the wait. Slightly salted and a squeeze of lime puts these tacos over the top. That's not grease starting to drip down your fingers, it's flavor!
