The cemetery itself was well maintained and access to the gravesite was straightforward and on even ground.

Losing someone special is always tough, as I lost my best friend and/or sister ( Roz ) in August. The cancer was pretty tough and finally got to her in the long run. But now her pain is over and she's up resting now above us all in a much better place. I will always miss her. I had gone to several cemeteries in the general Seattle or North Seattle areas and met only one person who just stuck out and really made me feel comfortable and was absolutely great to work with. Rose spent a lot of time with me not only finding just the right placement location for my sister Roz but ensuring the whole process was done so nicely and professionally by both Rose and all the staff out at Floral Hills. My sister now lays to rest in a Very Unique & Beautiful Little Spot in between some extremely large trees with a beautiful view down over the huge fountain area there at Floral Hills. I would love to give a very Special Thank You to Rose Hodge who was our family service advisor and director through one of my hardest times in my life, the putting to rest my sister Roz. Thank You Rose for Everything, Brian Dee

Worst funeral home ever. So many mistakes and problems I can't even name them all. I've dealt…read morewith multiple agents there and each is as bad as the next. And the price is quite high, over $4000 just for a simple burial of cremains (cremation done out of state, not by Evergreen Waschelli) in a plot that the family already owns. And that's with name etching on an existing stone that's already in place, with no removal of the stone needed. I'm going there today and I'll bet that my mom's name is still not on the stone and that her obituary still won't be showing up on their website. Ugh

On December 7th, I took my 88 year old mother up to Evergreen Washelli to deliver a Christmas swag…read moreto her grandparents that are buried in the older part of the cemetery (the Pacific Lutheran area). We were completely dismayed to find the area where they are buried, covered in about 5 inches of decaying maple leaves. I used my shoe and tried to kick away the thick layer of debris, trying to expose her grandparents name plates. After about 15 minutes, we gave up. When I returned home, I went online and filled out a form that was right on their website and told them how unacceptable this was to my mother, and asking for someone to please reach out to me after it had been cleaned up so that we could try again.. It has been two weeks and no one has reached out to me regarding my concern with the lack of upkeep. So perhaps next year, I will call them and make sure the area has been maintained before driving the hour and a half.

When mom passed away, a few month later, the Neptune Society was there, just as promised. The whole process was straightforward. The hospice nurse simply made the phone call and Neptune society took it from there. Brad, from the Neptune Society, provided excellent service and was easy to work with. His compassion and professionalism during this difficult period was extremely helpful. I recommend the Neptune Society for those considering cremation.

I am not doing that great. ***Please check the complaints at the Better Business Bureau.*** Neptune is *not* accredited. I am going to file a complaint there. A friend is helping me now to deal with them. I have spent nights crying over what they did. I would not trust them with anything, much less my father's remains. I wasn't even sure they would give me his ashes, it could be anybody, as far as I can tell from their practices. I could not handle looking at his urn and wondering who was in there. 1. They work on commission, and they upsell you, hard, once you have started the process of cremating your loved one. When you are vulnerable and grieving. It was a long conversation of upselling. I was just trying to understand the cremation process and when I would receive my Dad's ashes (I live in another state). I was wildly confused when they started telling me about all the things to buy and do. Like if I wanted to view my father (outrageous price to do that), it would cost hundreds more to ***put a pillow behind his head*** Not. Kidding. I literally gasped in shock and "oh my f***ing god" slipped out of my mouth. 2. They charge far (2x) more than other funeral homes/crematories. I wish, wish, wish, I had done better research. Neptune is a national company and seemed reputable. I was so wrong. 3. If issued a refund, it is wildly inadequate. My policy was $2745. They gave me $909 as refund. I researched online - they are known for being unethical with refunds. I am sure these awful people issue refunds frequently. Again, check the BBB. Look on here for other crematories the do not upsell you. I found a wonderful one, Elemental. Charged HALF, did not upsell. They told me about extra procedures they have, beyond legal requirements, for making sure the remains are of the right person. They do not work on commission. They were perfect. To Neptue Society directly: I will not stop until my refund is resolved ethically. Be aware of that. You humiliated me and caused me pain at the most difficult moment of my life. I do not allow anyone to treat me that way.
