Don't look any further. Home Cinema Center is the best! He hung my 65" TV, programmed a special remote to work with the TV, DVD player and Game system and connected it to my surround sound speakers. If you have any home theater needs Yianni and his team are the place to go! Suuuuper friendly, will work on short notice, when available of course, and follow through is impeccable. Additionally, his prices are really fair. We just moved to Novato and needed two tvs hung and set up. Based on reviews and Yianni's involvement. I decided to start there. We like to support small business whenever possible. Yianni came out next day and quoted the job. As I said, super fair price. We agreed he'd come a couple days later. He and the other installer were in time, took their shoes off, laid tarps, detailed the work and got to it. I wanted to surprise my wife with. Sonos sound bar and much to my delight. Yianni is a certified dealer. Great price (beat big box stores) and one stop shop for me. Since we discussed this during his first visit. He brought it to install. All went well and the tvs looked great. They cleaned up and left. I was really pleased. Upon review, the Sonos fabric covering the bar had the smallest tear. Yianni already said he'd follow up when our wifi was installed to help set up sonos (which is awesome). I showed him when he came over. I didn't even have to ask...he said we'll replace it immediately and felt bad they didn't catch it. Think of that was a big box. They'd probably accuse you of doing since their installers didn't notice. So good. Week or so later. He came by with the new bar, installed, hand shake and a smile, done. Now get this. I had to have the Geek Squad come out to change the wifi card in my LG. Overall they were good. The problem. When they rehung the tv they didn't do it right. Quick call to Yianni and he stopped by as he was working in the neighborhood. Fixed their sloppy work free of charge. They didn't lock the bracket in place. Lastly, I have one more tv to hang. Small one. Texted Yianni. Called me back within 10 minutes. Said it would be next week but he'd stop by tomorrow to look at the job and quote it. Tomorrow. It's crazy. Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience with Yianni and Home Cinema Center. We received bad technical advice and when realized we asked to make a change to the installation that would have saved cost and increased functionality. We actually had to ask Yianni to leave our home after his behavior became argumentative and insulting in front of our family following the change request. Our intention was to work with a local small business instead of a "big-store", but unfortunately we found Yianni to be very limited technically and obligated to only selling components they're a registered dealer for (not many) and massive price inflation on petty stuff like cables, HDMI switch, etc.. We were very disappointed by Yianni's lack of cooperation, professionalism, and technical competency. The installer team however (Sean & Rico) were very good, clean, and polite. This resulted in more work for them, but they were happy to accommodate and did the job right. Unlike the other customers, I had a really poor experience with Home Cinema Center. My husband and I had been looking for a certain sofa for weeks and found just what we wanted on Home Cinema Center's website. I called to discuss this particular sofa with the customer service representative and was told my order was good to go and would ship in 7-9 business days. Over a week later I received an email stating that we would not be receiving our sofa at all as it was out of stock and no longer available for purchase. When I called to discuss the issue with customer service, his response was "This happens sometimes." When I inquired further about what he might do to earn my business, he said, "This happens, nothing I can do." Unfortunately, we are moving into our new home and now have no living room furniture and Home Cinema Center has lost a lifetime customer. Be careful, because even if you call and ask them, your item may turn out to be unavailable a couple weeks later. I ordered a chair from this company, They sent the wrong color. When I called in some rude guy answered rambled off something when I asked to repeat it, he was curt with me said read your email and respond than hung up. I never did receive an email. When I called back the next day the same rude man again was curt and hung up on me. Too make a long story short they said I received the right color. The color I ordered was Chateau which is tan and the chair I received is clearly grey. No one is responding to my emails now. I used this local small business to avoid the "big store" runaround I've seen in the past and I am very satisfied. After moving into my new home, I wanted my home theater installed professionally. I spoke with the owner, Yianni in his store and he came out to look at what I had and what was needed for the room. He was always on time with his visits and he put in the quality I was looking for. I found listening to his suggestions helpful in my decisions so I am happy with what I purchased. Although my new remote and equipment needed some tweaking in the following days, Yianni was there to make the corrections. He was very insistent that I be happy with the install and the functionality of the system and he backed up his work. Being skeptical of most services offered to me, I found him to honest and very professional, never trying to gouge me on anything. After a complete review and research on tuning my 58 inch plasma, I had him tune it to the ISF standard he offers and I must admit, he was right. Home CInema deserves zero stars they state their specialty is customer service. When it comes to customer service they have none. They let you purchase a product and wait nearly 2 weeks to let you know that the product is unavailable. We thought we would find exactly what we wanted and avoid the pushy furniture salesman, just to find out that on-line furniture shopping can be just as frustrating. My suggestion is to find a company that their customer service is more than a statement, find a company that works to make sure the customer is happy. read more
