I haven't been there in a while and they've made some changes so the employees were a great help in showing me the layout. They had some great sales, and I certainly got more than what I came for. I made my way to the food section of the store the kitchen was closed but they always have a good selection of snacks and frozen goods to try at an affordable price. Next time I go, I plan to try the vegetable dogs they sound interesting. I feel like I'm on an adventure every time I go to IKEA and I like that!

One has to double check expiration dates on breads, milk, and other perishables because they have a tendency to have breads and dairy products past the best used by dates. Today, I didn't see any expired items. The biggest issue is with checking out. The check out clerk did a wonderful job so no complaints there. She was wonderful. They had opened another lane because the line was starting to get longer and the they only had one bagger available, so I bagged my groceries myself. Not the end of the world but it is the reason I don't use self checkout. They rely heavily on self checkout and thet does a disservice to the customers. Range of items a solid 5, prices are a solid 4, cleanliness a solid 4.5, the staff a solid 4.5; the management of having enough staff to checkout customers instead of self checkout a 3 for today.

I checked out and helped as well. it took us about 15 minutes to get him to his car which was right in the front. by this time other store employees were helping. his wife was in the car in the passenger seat and the store employees knew her and said she had dementia. She refused to let anyone drive but said she would drive so the guy got in the passenger seat. the store employees pleaded with the lady to let one of them drive them home but she refused. At this time I asked a young man who was a store employee if he would ride with me and we could follow them home and help them get inside. He asked his supervisor and everyone was eager to help and all agreed. we then followed them home and helped the man get into the house and the lady was safe. bottom line the customer care these employees showed was amazing especially the young man that jumped in with me. I contacted Hunter customer service and they sent me a replacement, which is also sadly defective and makes an even more annoying sound even when I spin the fan by hand with it turned off.
