We checked out the new Home Depot on Cactus Rd. In Surprise on Saturday. The parking lot is a bit small but we found a spot no problem. Lots of staff inside wherever we went to help with our questions. In Doors section, a worker spent time showing us all the options for pet doors. She was very nice and informative. We found everything we needed. No checkers available. Everything was self checkout, which went smoothly and a staff member checked on us immediately. read more

This store has so much to offer and yet customer service is not their strong point. I've gone so many times for concrete only to be told someone will be with me shortly to load up the bags in my truck. No one shows up. Called the manager one day while I was waiting, help arrived after that call. Went again today, waited, no help, loaded it up on my own. This store is closer, convenient and has everything I need except help. I think I'll switch to Lowe's or the other Home Depot which is further away. So handy for my husband. His new go-to location he can stop by after work if needed to get materials for work the following day. Even being a new location they haven't let us down on inventory. Love their garden center. Way better than Home Depot in Avondale and better than the Lowe's in buckeye and Goodyear. Love that they always have a great healthy variety of garden fruits and veggie plants. The amount of pots they have is great too. Love that I can always find a large variety of drought tolerant arizona plants. It's always clean. Not a fan of the black apron people as they harass you as you walk through the store. And it is a bummer how fast all the holiday stuff sells out with no restock. I was just there yesterday and was able to get blueberry and raspberry starters and a purple lantana. So nice!
