My last refinance in June 2020 turned out to be a horrible experience. I had messaged someone I thought that I can count on to see if he can recommend a Loan Officer that is trustworthy that I can talk to about refinancing our home. That led me to Eric Elias from Home Financing Inc. I was stationed in Singapore at the time. Eric Elias quoted me for a 2.75% interest rate with my Outstanding FICO score. I came to find out that they only gave me that rate because their 3-6% commission was padded on that rate. I could have gotten and surely well qualified for a rate much lower than 2.75%. I believe that Eric Elias took advantage of us and I am sure that he and his team prey on the military/veterans. This is absolutely disgusting. After all our hard work for being in the military for over 25+ years, there are people like him that would ONLY think of their commissions rather than helping military like myself to get a better deal that we deserve based on our FICO score. I am glad that a year later I was able to refinance our home again to a 1.75% at 15 year loan. Never again I will deal with retail Loan Officers. Wholesale Mortgage Rate beats retail interest rate every time. read more
