Home Goods is probably my favorite store. This location has Marshalls as well. When you come in, two associates were wiping the shopping carts with sanitizer for each customer. I believe there was also another associate taking count of how many customers were coming in. The line was long, but it moved quickly. I did not appreciate the service from the security guard. As I stepped I was approached and I said I was looking for an Oil Diffuser. The security guard stayed with me until I had to ask him, if it was ok for me to look and select from the several different diffusers on the shelf. He then approached me again to see which ones I had selected, and then hovered while waiting for the cashier to ring me out. Why? I would never shop there again. What about me warranted this "special" attention? I've lived in this area in my own home for over 30 years so this is a first for me. I was polite, did not make a scene, just made a decision. I gave two stars because the store was clean, and cashier was friendly. Guard may need some training. read more

A ok home goods in Pelham Manor but overall lacking items compared to the many other locations I have visited. Stuff for the home including furniture , home decor , kitchen and bathroom items and plenty of other useless stuff you probably don't need but it looks nice and prices are very good .after browsing the whole store for 30 minutes I got a few small rugs for the bathroom and foyer , some linen and towels and a kitchen set of plates , bowls , cups . Was debating on getting a few throw pillows for my man cave but my slobbish friends who make a mess on my sectionals and rugs made me get instead a few foam cushion ends .Not the best and not the worst but if you live in the area it's not a bad place to find something useful for the home or apt . 3.5 stars on my yelp meter . read more

I love this particular home goods store. The staff is friendly but you won't find many on the floor if you need assistance. The store itself is quite large compared to other nearby home goods stores. Every department has lots of options to chose from which makes it hard not find what your looking for. Because of this I often find unique items that I wasn't looking for but quickly fall in love with. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I understand they close later & are tired from working the holiday hours but customer service was atrocious. These employees take no pride in their work. Barely answering my questions on where a certain item was. They need a whole new staff with better attitude. Don't recommend- also dirty location. read more

There is always a considerable waiting time in order to check out. Cashiers are usually just seen walking around the store laughing, hanging out with each other, acting as if they don't have a job to do. It's the same no matter what time you come in. Sometimes customers get antsy and will express their disdain only for the workers to insult them. Some of the workers have no professionalism. read more

Nice! I'm always on the hunt for a nice Home Goods. While waiting for the Glendale location to open (I'm in there soon), I was in this area and stopped by. There is a nice selection of kitchen items which is what I stalk Home Goods for. I finally got my cupcake decorating kit for $6 compared to the one at Michael's I was eyeing for $14 last weekend. Everything was clean and organized and I spent a nice amount of time in each aisle wanting to buy everything but only grabbing a few things. Since it's holiday time they had a huge amount of holiday stuff ranging from home decorations of kids toys and gifts.I definitely need to go back and grab some more kitchen things. read more

I come to this location very often because of the many other stores within the vicinity. I rarely have a true reason to shop here but I always find myself leaving with more than I bargain for. They could use more staff on the floor but I see that they're desperately in need of them behind the counter because the line in here gets so insanely long. It is a major turn off for me. Other than that, they tend to have a great selection and decent prices. read more

We as pelham manor resident's should lobby for better pay for these employees. Not all of them are rude I met this Kid on the floor he was so nice and genuinely wanted to help. They have an amazing candle section, especially around he holidays. Good gluten free treats, even some of the same companies you'd find at fairway, but for less. My go to place for gift buying. Whoever shops for this store does a pretty great job. Not crazy about the sheet selection, I can never find the right thing. I also miss that they used to have a larger beauty section. It's usually pretty clean and organized. It can get crowded, they probably need more register people at busy times. Overall a pretty nice home goods. read more

What a mess!!!!! I felt like I was at a flea market. Terribly unorganized with large rolling shelves everywhere with a big jumbled mess on them. You couldn't get your cart through. All the carts were in the parking lot. I brought one in with me, and it was stolen twice!!! People removed my things and walked off with my cart. Long line to check out. I blame management. Like others have said if I could give this place ZERO Stars I would ... I was waiting on line with only a couple items and this kid was in Front of me whom I thought was with the lady also in front of me. Turns out the child belong to someone else who put him on line while she was shopping around. She came up saying excuse me my son is there ,she had a cart full of items. I told her that's being inconsiderate of others to do that ... She started to yell and trying to get I. My face I told her back up and started to yell back and curse at her , I wasn't going to deal with her nonsense. A worker stepped in trying to calm the situation. I said you people need to have a policy that you can't get on line unless you're ready to cash out and not leave your kids holding your spot . The dumbass lady tried to scare me by saying I'll call the police... I said oooh go ahead you dumbass I'll wait right here for them ... I didn't do anything wrong so why should I be scared. This is the last time I'll be going there . I told my friends what Happ they couldn't believe it either. Now they don't want to go there as well. I hope the management reads this and deals with any future incidents that may occur. read more

The reason I'm giving this location only one star is due to the staff. I frequent this location because it's the closest to my home. I've encountered very pleasant and friendly cashiers, however thats not the majortiy of my experiences. Unfortunately, for the most part the customer service sucks; if it's not the not so inconspicuous lost prevention following you around the store, it's the very short cashiers. read more
