Can we give 10 stars? Sal is seriously amazing! We found him through a Yelp search and you will never regret calling him. He is extremely responsive. We had a disabled family member moving in when we realized our lift wasn't working. He came out immediately to fix it. He found a couple of issues with it that the contractor who installed it messed up You do NOT want your lift installed incorrectly. Recently, after working for two months, it quit again. We must have it operational since our family member relies on it to get in and out of the house. We texted Sal and he called and spent 10 minutes on the phone with us troubleshooting. Took my old scooter to him and he tested to see what was wrong. Well, Golden Mobility no longer makes these parts, however we could do an upgrade. Great, how much? Well because you can't buy these parts you will need the axle, motor and computer which is about $850 plus Labor, an if batteries are bad add another $400. I ended up trading my old scooter in, bought a New Buzzaround GB149A. Love IT!!! As for Sal, If you are looking for a scooter , look no further! Sal did a great job identifying the problem and fixing my dad's lift sofa chair. I was able to attain the replacement parts from the company since they were still under the 5 year warranty. However, Labor was only included in the warranty for one year. We were fortunate to find Sal and he installed all the problematic parts including the motor quickly and efficiently. I was looking for a place to have a wheelchair/scooter lift installed in my SUV. The prices at most businesses in the area I had called were prohibitive, and they would not install a used lift since it had not been purchased from them. That was not the case with Sal. He was willing to install a lift I had purchased for a reasonable price, but when I got down to the logistics of how it would be installed, the lift I had gotten wasn't a good match. Sal showed me an alternative lift that would suit my needs, and leave me lots of cargo space which I decided to go ahead and purchase. The combined costs of the used lift I wouldn't need, a brand new lift, and installation was still far below the quotes i had gotten from other places. The work was done professionally and Sal really knows what he's doing. He figured out the best way to put the lift in and modify the floor panel to allow access to the spare tire. I had planned on dropping off the car, discussing how the installation would be done, and then coming back four hours later.
