I wasn't sure what to expect, but took a chance on this shop after reviews and reading how long it has been in business (a long time). I ordered online. It was easy to choose from the selections (there's many) and pay. Received order confirmation. I didn't set high expectations to be let down. I wasn't expecting the flowers to look exactly like the pictures either because you know how these things can go. They ended up look wonderful! I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the product. The cutest little hole in the wall floral shop! I didn't even know it was there, but I'm so glad I stumbled upon it. You're able to have custom bouquets made. I always come to this flower shop Service 10/10 You are able to select a bouquet already made OR make your own bouquet by selecting the variety they put out. You have the choice of a hand bouquet or in a vase ! And they can wrap it in colored paper ! For $1.50 more or something like that. . I went today for mothers day and the girl with the piercing (sorry never knew her name) she said hello to me and made sure i was taken care of due to high demand of people. I told her i was taken care of . Time passed about 15 mins and she kept asking her colleagues about the update of my bouquet and was making sure they was working on it . Another young woman , Isabel came to ask us if i wanted colored paper or brown paper and we chose beautiful channel paper. This was my first time coming here and I'm slightly upset, but first I would like to say that the business has beautiful flowers and while I was their they were making some beautiful arrangements, I also didn't ask questions because they were busy with orders and had other customers in the store. Anyways I would recommend to choose the flowers not in bundles because I did end up with one bundle of flowers and another bouquet that I had hand picked the flowers, it came out lovely but the bundle of flowers was a bit of a disaster, once I brought them home-- I took them out of the plastic wrap they were in and immediately the petals started falling out and while I was vasing them I lost about three flowers. I don't blame the store but I now know that you should pick each flower individually. read more

As a beginner I asked if they can make a custom bouquet with any flowers flowers that were in season and they just asked for the budget. Took about a quick 15 mins and it was done. Hoping I came in on a bad day for flowers. The selection was limited. I ended up buying a pre-packaged flower arrangement. I was hoping for something more special. I'm giving 3 stars instead of 2 because I have frequented this shop before leaving with a totally satisfying flower bouquet. I went to this flower shop for years. Years. The prices became so outrageous that I looked for another. I found one called chicky blooms that I love. Karen's is right down the street from my house though so today, in a pinch I checked the hours and called in to see what time they closed. 4 pm is said close time today. I went at 3:55 to grab a quick ready made bouquet and the lady was in there with the doors closed and locked and refused service very rudely. So here I am. My recommendation is don't come here in a pinch or on a budget or wanting good customer service. You won't get it here. read more

I've never done this before because I usually buy flowers at a store and bring them myself, but with the current shelter in place this wasn't possible. I read that you get better quality and price when buying flowers from a local shop instead of a big online chain. Don't quite remember how I stumbled onto this florist but I'm very happy with the service I received. The website was easy to use and I found a lot of different flowers I liked. It was easy to find a bunch for a good price, and then add a customized message and pick a specific day for delivery. They were delivered correctly and my parents were very pleased with the quality, apparently the flowers were packed well and came with plant food. When I got there, a staff member helped me pick the one that looked freshest with the most buds still waiting to flower (and didn't try to help me pick the most expensive of the 4 that they had). The store is a little hard to find because it's in a large shopping center but in the middle of it, near a diner and a barber shop. It's small and easy to miss. I definitely drove around for awhile. But it's so cute - when you walk in, there are plants and greenery everywhere and it feels like you've walked into a little enchanted forest. read more

I'm very confused. Yelp has led me astray. I drove from my work to Karen's because of the positive yelp reviews and how the place prides itself on its identity in the local community. I was quite disappointed in the quality of design and arrangement. I'm not sure what the mediocre standard is so misleadingly praised on yelp. Cons: I stopped by to pick flowers because it was my Mom's birthday today. Please see photos. I said that my range was 40-60 dollars. They charged me 60 dollars for an arrangement I thought was going to be awesome but it was BLAH. I waited 20 minutes and when they handed it to me I sent it back surprised. I said "that's it? Can you put more roses in it or something...I paid 60." I got it back it was better but still...imagine how lackluster the original was. See photo and try to tell me this is $60 worth? Pro: nice staff. I was so surprised at the results I texted a photo to my boss. She texted back "wow, for that amount no peonies or rununculus? You should take it back and ask for refund."
