I told her I was following the doctor's orders and she kept telling me that we should be following her orders. Then when I told her that this wasn't a good fit for us, she threw a temper tantrum and called the police!!! They came to our house for five minutes and said they weren't sure why she thought my mother was in "distress". Ironically, the nurse's name is Karen, and she is a Karen! She is a control freak and irresponsibly used our civic servant resources to prove how much power she has. So unprofessional and inappropriate. You have to call. I waited 15 minutes today before the call went dead. There's no online chat. The company that owns Apria could care less about what you need or think about them. They also have a nasty habit of charging you for more than they should if you set up automatic payments. My insurance was changing their computer system. One day they denied a $1,200 bill from Apria, a few days later they paid it. But during those few days Apria had already charged me for the full amount. I was out $1,200 for more than a year. They also kept sending me monthly bills for an unspecified reason and when I called to inquire they said the bills were sent in error. If I could use a better company I would.
