We just closed on our first house last week, and I feel SO FORTUNATE to have found Maureen!! She is a mastermind of the mortgage lending process! I don't think I've ever met someone who is so hardworking with such high standards. Even better, Maureen upholds the same high standards for every one else involved in the lending process (escrow company, lenders, realtors, etc.) and she is constantly 2 steps ahead and prepared for anything, with a back up plan "just in case" to ensure everything goes through seamlessly. As a first time homebuyer initially unfamiliar with the process, I now know I threw a couple curve balls and Maureen didn't even bat an eye. As if all that wasn't enough, I also had no idea where to start when looking for a good realtor. Maureen suggested a few she has worked with in the past that she thought were really good, and she did not disappoint. I ended up choosing Melissa Tucci as my realtor, who was just as amazing as Maureen, and the two of them working together turned into an unstoppable powerhouse that could move mountains and get a deal done! If you're looking for a mortgage broker who will take care of you like family and go above and beyond, look no further. You will not be disappointed!

    I am a 60 year old man who has only written five negative reviews in my life. I've composed a lot…read moreof positive ones as I am easy going and a very positive thinker. My experience was so horrific with Michelle Morris and guaranteed rate that I have to share it in hopes of helping another innocent and unsuspecting victim. I would call Michelle and I would always get this automatic I'm in a meeting text. I will call you soon. She only called me back twice during the whole process. When we would text, her answers were vague I can't get a straight answer out of her. I could not get a straight answer out of her people as their voicemails were full and you couldn't get a call back. Here's what happened. She tried to get me to pay 10% more of a down payment, than we agreed on. She would never give me an accurate estimation. About five weeks before closing she gives me an estimated closing sheet and it was very inaccurate. I tried to lock in the rate but she would only lock in for 30 days. I said to Michelle are there any broker fees and she replied no. I asked her if there are any points added on to the backend of the loan to cover Broker's fees and she said no. I said how are they covered? She told me the investors pay it which made sense because the rates were high. I asked her what happens if the rates go down and she told me that my rate would go down. I asked her what happens if the rates go up. She told me your Rates would go up. When I got the final offer there were $20,000 worth of broker fees and when I inquired about it, she told me they just started that two weeks ago. Sounds funny doesn't it. Interest rates went down over half a percent and she raise mine .25%. I said you said if rates went down so I would mine. I was being charged an extra 10% down payment. There was also about another $5000 worth of fees that she forgot to add on which amazingly showed up on the final cost sheet. This was the most unprofessional business dealing I have ever been a part of. One lie after another. I refused to be treated this way. I am very ethical and my business dealings also have to be that way. I was forced to walk away from my deposit and the house because of the misrepresentation I suffered. They should be ashamed of themselves. I lost the house that I dreamed of and my deposit because of no fault of my own the real estate agent I was using had her president to call me and he said this is why I don't work with Michelle Morris anymore. Buyer beware. This should've been the happiest day of my life, but turned out to be a nightmare. I wish you all the best and I hope you can find a legitimate mortgage lender. Good luck.
