During the summer, the heat just wasn't effectively blocked by whatever factory tint was on the vehicle so it was time to look into something to help cool the cabin better. We had such a good experience with Mr. Donnie & N Motion when we had to replace the rear window ceramic tint on one of our cars due to warping and bubbling, that we decided it would be best to come back for more of his expertise! Setting up the appointment is real easy, as the business's yelp site has a "request a quote" option. Their response time is awesome! Or you can call directly as well. With appointment made, we get to the business easily with yelp directions. Just know, their site is located at the back of the business building. Mr. Donnie is a solid bloke! He is Infectiously friendly and straight to the point. There are two options for car tint offered, traditional and ceramic. I prefer the ceramic version for its extra reflective properties. 50% at the driver windows (Wifey traumatized from getting pulled over for dark tint during her college heyday lol), and 15% tint everywhere else (Wifey still wants to see through tint at night) was the recommendation... sounds good to me! We had a morning appointment, and a waiting lounge is an option. We decided to get our morning walk in and brunch at Tio's Cafe which was only minutes walk away. Yummy brekkie was pleasantly carefree and we weren't rushed to get out. Did our after meal walk and in under 3 hrs, we get a text saying service was done! Wahoo! Quality work with a Lifetime Guarantee, too! VERY EASY RECOMMENDATION! I am thoroughly impressed with Mr. Donnie's genuine customer care and tinting skills! He seemed a little off from the gecko but I hired him anyway.. Upon agreeing on a price and agreeing to move forward he begin installing my kitchen windows which are 2 windows with one main center big window. After spending nearly 2 hours on that main window, he installed the film and said its not great, has lines and stuff insides the tint. Which he mentioned he needs to take it off and redo the tint he also didn't have the tint in his van which he had to make a trip to go get it and come back next day. From there I knew this guy was not the right fit, Anyway upon installing the film the next day there were still lines and fuzzy looking from the outside. Basically not a clear film look. She said don't worry about the cloudy film that will go away on its own 3 to 5 days. A month has passed still their, and I called robert After a few voicemails he called me back three days later. I told him to situation he said let me call you back tomorrow because right now it's not a good time to talk. Keep in mind he was supposed to call me the very next morning. Rojelio gave me an estimate over the phone, then came to the house within an hour. We chose the tint which is mirrored on the outside so no one can see in. Dogs not to happy about that. Lol. He did a really nice job. The cleaner comes first to prep the windows. The neighbor has a bright ass light that shines straight into the backyard and into the master bedroom.
