I am not one to write many reviews, nor do I always trust other people's reviews. So I was cautious in selecting whom to hire to add a clear security film to our home (we already have double pane low-E windows). Having installed window tint on my sliders a decade ago, I thought about this as a DIY project, but security film installation requires a higher skill set than window tinting. I did extensive web browser and AI research, to better understand what to expect, what to ask, and which firm's could service our home. I discarded vendors with only a few reviews (sorry, but I wanted an experienced company) and those with lower review ratings, narrowing my search to the two companies that I then called. From one company, I sensed competency using the same materials that I found on Amazon. Then I called Art at Pentagon. It was obvious that he not only specialized in security film, but that he used a commercial grade security film. I texted pictures and measurements to each window and, since both firms quoted the same, my choice was obvious. As a test, I hired Art to secure my home's front windows. I was immediately impressed with his attention to detail, especially at preventing potential future bubbles, and his silicone work at the window's perimeter. Visually, these windows still look like before (albeit cleaner), so adding photos to this review seems pointless. But I will now sleep better knowing that my home is more secure.
