Response to the owner's reply: I am well aware there was no contractual agreement, I never said that there was, otherwise a breach of contract would have occurred. I am conveying it is not good business to ignore customers. It could have been a simple response that you were not taking on new customers, instead of ignoring all contact.

After waiting without receiving anything, I followed up with Arturo by text and was told that he would send the quote later that day. Four days passed, and I still did not receive the written estimate or any update. I sent another follow-up message and received no response at all. The only positive part of my experience was communicating with their staff, Abigail. The person responding to my texts, who I believe was Abigail, was responsive and helpful whenever I reached out to the company's main number. Unfortunately, despite her responsiveness, I still had difficulty getting the information I needed from the technician assigned to my project. I understand that delays can happen, but timely communication and following through on commitments are important. Based on my experience, I was disappointed by the lack of responsiveness and would encourage the company to improve communication between their technicians and potential customers.

The job took 4-days, really 3.5-days with the first 0.5 being a crew who peeled off the old shakes the first day and some supply delivery. 2nd was delivering more supplies, checking for dry rot, replacing as needed, and starting the plywood, and waterproofing. 3rd was shingling and gutters (separate crews), 4th finishing everything up including painting the vents to match with the new roof. I recently had Roof Guard come out to repair my roof, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Michael and his crew did an outstanding job from start to finish. When they got into the work, they discovered that an extensive amount of my wood had dry rotted -- more than expected. Rather than cutting corners, they replaced all the damaged wood and re-papered the entire roof properly. What really impressed me was that they were able to reuse my existing tiles, which saved me a significant amount of money without sacrificing quality. Michael was upfront, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. The pricing was fair, especially given the scope of what needed to be done. I felt like I was in good hands the entire time. When we needed our house re roofed Michael came out and explained everything to us. We felt very comfortable with him because he explained everything. We had many questions about the process and he was very Educated and actually ended up educating us on the roofing process. We had a tile roof that Had bad paper and needed the tiles removed and new paper installed. We have a pool and two little children. There was not one piece of roofing or one nail on the ground or in the pool when they were done. We got to see Mike every morning for two weeks as he came to check the progress. They dealt with the city inspectors and handled everything Our roof looks awesome and no more worrying about leaks!! Yay! We highly recommend Michael and his wonderful team! It caused unwanted muddles no matter if it would rain or not. I reached out on yelp and just sent a project detailing what my issue was: flat roof with no attic, dew moisture dripping off of the edge of the roof all year round, and was looking for seamless gutter install for the whole perimeter of my house. I have no idea how gutters work and just thought I needed all around my house. A couple of companies reached out to my project inquiry. One wouldn't come to my house, but said that they would do a satellite view and give me an estimate. This seemed sketchy and made me not want to work with them, especially after their estimate for a whole house gutter install (which was unbelievably expensive). I read the reviews of A-Z Solutions and everyone complemented Greg on his professionalism and communication. I experienced that first hand. Greg came over, and I told him I wanted to do a full house gutter. He walked with me around my house and educated me that gutters should be placed where the slope of the house is. He said he didn't want to charge me to install materials that I didn't need. I accepted his proposal the same day, which I deemed to be fair and reasonable. He came to my house again and explained again where the gutters and downspouts would be. The crew who installed my gutters were also just as kind and educated me about the process. I chose Bronze because of its two toned appeal in sunlight. Right now, it doesn't match the color of my house. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism, kindness, education, and honesty from this company. I will recommend to anyone seeking gutter install.

One roofer came out and said we needed a new roof. Two other roofers came out and said they could replace the tiles, and fortunately the previous owners left us a stockpile of tiles so they wouldn't need to order many -- or any -- tiles. Mind you, according to all of these roofers, the tiles we have are top-of-the-line, expensive freaking tiles! When Jim came out, we could tell he was the man for the job. He walked on our roof, but he knew exactly how to step on the roof to not break any of the tiles. He counted all of the broken tiles, assessed the damage, and pointed out other areas that needed some work. He was by far the most detailed roofer to inspect our roof. His solution was to repair the cracked tiles that could be repaired (approx. 25 of them had hairline fractures), and replace the other 25 tiles. We really liked the fact that he could save some of the tiles and could repair them -- so we'd still be left with extras. We decided to go with Jim because we liked his approach and felt his solution was the most beneficial. Thanks again, Jim & Everlast Roofing!

I had a few flashing issues that was making a badly installed window leak and he made certain that they would be addressed during the re-roof. Their pricing came out second lowest of the 6 companies I received quotes from. However, Kyle's communication and praise from other reputable contractors convinced me to roll with them. I wanted the roof done correctly, not necessarily for the lowest dollar amount. Once I signed on, Kyle was there throughout the entire process. He took care of permitting, informed me of when inspectors would show up, and even called to ask if I would like to be moved up on the schedule. I was impressed--I rarely come across contractors that are great communicators. Our new roof took 4 days. Kyle laid out exactly what would happen during each day. He was onsite during the tearoff and walked me through any small issues he saw, such as a few pieces of rotted plywood. The crew Kyle worked with was excellent. Each day, they cleaned up thoroughly and even took in my trash cans on garbage day! What kind of contractors go above and beyond like that? On their final day, one of the workers proudly showed me a video of the roof. I love it when people take such pride in their jobs. After installation, Kyle returned to do a full walk around with me to make sure all of the issues we had previously discussed in the quote were addressed (they were!).
