I also got my favorite terracotta colored Panama hat from here -- it actually wasn't available at this location but was on clearance and they had an option to ship to this location/pick up for no extra charge so that's what I did and had no issues! And because this world market is inside a big outdoor shopping center (sunset valley village), there is always plenty of parking. Wish they had a bigger clothing/accessories section, but that's really my only critique -- otherwise I love this world market!

I was very surprised to read reviews of poor customer service because I have always found the people who work here to be warm, helpful, and kind. They clearly love all of the pieces as well, and have such an eye for style. There was also a review about how the fragrances here are too strong; I respectfully disagree. I am sure that someone who dislikes perfumes in general would have a tough time in this store, but for anyone else it smells simply divine. Finally, they have the most GORGEOUS seasonal decorations. After standing in line to do the exchange, locating the shade and standing in line again to check out, I wasn't able to use the gift card without a manager keying it in. This seems rather archaic but... whatever. So we paged the manager, waited some more, she keyed it in and it showed $0. The cashier said "that's not possible, I did the exchange myself just a few mins ago?" The manager then proceeds to say it takes 5 mins for funds to load. I point out on the receipt that it was 18 mins ago (lots of waiting in line) and now it "takes 30 mins for gift cards to load". I couldn't stand around another 12 mins hoping it would load as I had already left my family waiting in the car for an eternity. So now I have to go back and do this whole thing again just bc their system is flawed. It's a ridiculous waste of time

We picked out a pre lit Christmas tree, two containers of shatter proof ornaments, and a star for our tree. When going through the checkout there were several people working. We waited for the next available cashier. It was a really short wait probably less than five minutes. The cashier was friendly. We paid and we're on our way. We set up our Christmas tree after our Thanksgiving Dinner. My husband removed the tree from the box piece by piece. He spread out the tree limbs so that it would look more full. Once all of the ornaments and the star were put on the tree it looked really good. I recommend going there to check out the holiday decorations as there is a wide variety of items to choose from.

I had a very disappointing experience with a manager on duty named Priscilla. I've spent around…read more$500 at this location in just the past few days and came in tonight to purchase four pieces of art. I decided against one but later called back to place it on hold. When I spoke with Priscilla, who claimed to be a manager, she was extremely unprofessional and dismissive. She told me she couldn't hold the piece in a sarcastic tone, and when I asked for her district manager's name and she responded by saying, "You can Google it." This behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your brand. I ask that this situation be addressed, and that Priscilla receive additional training on professionalism and client service. A manager should represent the company with respect and class, not sarcasm and disregard. * Update: After going in today and speaking with Mabel and Sara--who had helped me previously--I received the level of customer service that should always be expected. It was phenomenal! They're both amazing, and truly set the standard for how clients, especially repeat clients, should be treated. Priscilla could definitely learn from their example. Kindness always goes a long way.
