Alex cultivates a culture where people actually get excited to come to work every day. Our dog Lincoln has been getting picked up from Active for 3 1/2 years (since he was a little pup) and there's not been a day where we doesn't wait at the front door excited to see who is picking him up. He's learned vital social skills and always feels at home. This is also the only place we feel comfortable boarding him, as they make him feel safe. If he wants to go in the crate, awesome - it's there for him. If he wants to stay up and stretch the legs with friends, that's cool too. My only advice is, if you're lucky enough to send your fur-babe here, parting ways will be the hardest thing emotionally (both on you and your pup) because this place will quickly become an extended family for you both. Please bring Active to every city, specifically Denver, because every pup deserves a second home as passionate and warm as this place.

I cannot say enough good thing about Nick and his team…read more First off, they do well puppy visits so pups can get acclimated to the space, sniff, explore, and begin to feel comfortable. We did this with our pup when he was about 5 months old! Nick does such a great job being gentle with Winston and allowing Winston to feel comfortable through the grooming process. Our first cut went really well and Nick made sure it wasn't too emotionally taxing for Winston since it was his first cut. After Winston got his first official cut, it's been amazing and smooth sailing since! Each cut can take 1-2.5 hours for our mini poodle. Nick is so great about giving us tips for things we can do at home for Winston to continue to have him be comfortable through the grooming and he always shares expectations for dog milestones. Winston is at a point now where he knows we're at the groomer and will happily wag his tail and jump to Nick to greet him! Winston always comes back smelling fantastic and feeling so so soft. Parking Tip: they have a zone where you can throw your hazards on or you can pay to park; there's a lot of great coffee shops in the area so I'll usually will kill time by going to one Other tips: bring your own treats if your dog has a sensitive tummy.
