She appears to be a Supervisor or Manager and that is important. I have created restaurant and hotel concepts and opened over 6 new locations and trained entire staffs and management, so I am well versed and experienced in systems, operations, Guest Services and Relations. I recognize and train with an Emphasis on a VERY Important FACT: You're Guests are the LARGEST marketing tool and potential long term relationship and word of mouth, especially in this age of social media goes a very long way. USE IT WISELY and with Absolute "Authenticity" - Most people Suggestions: Offer Half & Half Creamers or large half and half bottles with pumps and the standard raw sugar that EVERY coffee house has like Starbucks, other hotels and make sure that if you are offering hot water (like was offered here) that you have teabags (Herbal is a must in addition to the black tea) as there were no teabags in site. Keep the cleaning staff voice volume at a reasonable level (some people traveling like to sleep in, even on weekdays) and I don't like to squash people's happiness and enthusiasm, 8:30 in the morning is a little too early to have a higher volume than necessary - especially since they were in the hallway going from room to empty room while guests have yet to check out. Overall it was a very good experience and I DO recommend this new brand but they need to be careful of the franchising model in states like California, because if an operator does not live up to the Brand standards they are subject to "Right To Work" laws, and the necessity to pull the rights from a poor operator are almost impossible. Would recommend "Licensing" in those states, as licensing has no labor laws that operators can have their attorneys use to continue operations that could create problems. Licensing is powerful for both the Brand and Operators as the Higher Standards assure that both parties as equally satisfied and supported.

I haven't stayed ay this Minden location for a few years, but it looks all about the same. It's a little trick to find exactly unless you've been here before. Coming south on 395 turn right at 88, the first stop light in town. Then turn left right away towards the Mavrick gas station and go straight all the way back. Lots of parking. Check in is easy and all the rooms are ready. I make sure to get a room on the first floor, cause it makes it way easier coming and going all the time like we do. I'm a rewards club member so I got my points posted right away. My room was nice and the AC was on already. The room was clean and everything worked, especially the WIFI is important. The bathroom was stocked and clean and the hot water pressure was great for some long showers that my little water tank at home won't let me do. I one gripe is, I love to just fill my travel coffee carafe full of hot coffee at the lobby coffee supply. Holiday Inn Express used to have the coffee available in bu holding carafes that held a lot of coffee. I just filled up and it was great. Now, they have these "fresh" brew as you go machines that only make one cup at a time, so if I wanna fill my carafe and bring it back to the room, I have to use both machines and brew single cups on each and then pour it into my container. Way more pain in the butt then it used to be. But I guess, that's just me, everybody else wants a single cup fresh ground and brewed. Other wise this stay is going just fine. The room, #210, upstairs at the right corner, was very clean and super quiet. Maybe the corner location was the reason, but we never heard any sounds from adjacent rooms. The parking was ample and safe with easy in and out access. Their automated check in was very smooth. We got very good explanatory emails and texts giving all the necessary information to access our room and the door code the day before and the day of our arrival. In addition, the staff person Ami, was on-site until 7pm, just in case you had any problem getting into your room. From reading some of the reviews that mention no one around to help check them in, it was really nice to be greeted and welcomed by such a cheerful helpful person. Short, really easy walk to the casinos. Would definitely stay here again. Note: there is no elevator, so if you don't do stairs well, definitely get a room on the ground floor.

There was a half a roll of toilet paper and the towels smelled as if they hadn't been washed in a long time.I didn't use the toilet until around 6:00 pm and when I did it didn't flush.I called the office and the manager said something about calling a maintenance man.She never offered to move me to another room and I thought it was because the motel was full.She indicated that almost all the rooms were now weeklies.She herself came over to try to fix it and agreed it would need a more extensive repair.It only flushed when you took off the tank and lifted the chain.I really didn't want to do that all night. When I checked out I asked if I might be compensated at a later date for the inconvenience.She said yes,but when I called on the date she had delegated she wanted 50.00 for compensation.Then she said the toilet wasn't broken which was a straight lie. They even offered us a welcome drink upon arrival. They also gave us free entry vouchers for Lakeside Beach, which is only about a 5 minute walk from the property. Our room had a mini-fridge and was well-stocked with everything we needed. The only minor issues were the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom and a broken double security lock on our room door that needs maintenance. Other than that, the overall experience was fantastic. From the seamless early check-in that saved our day to the lovely live music by the pool before sunset! :)

They cried almost all night and morning and we had no sleep at all. I ended up booking the Jasper room at Station house again. Even though it was more expensive, I'd rather pay more, be comfortable and have a clean room. Katrina helped me at check in and check out She is very nice and super informal. I wish there were more employees like her. She always had a smile on her face and she is very professional over the phone. I know next time NOT to go somewhere else because of the price difference. We will be back here again. Station house DOES have AC and heating! Perfect place for a family to visit. They have firepits that turn on upon request. The tvs have apps you can sign in to. I didn't know this last time, but they have an on site restaurant. Outside they also have large sized connect four as well as an area to play cornhole. They have live music. We didnt have time to try the restaurant or enjoy the live band because we had our babies with us, but we look forward to taking a mom and dad trip next time to enjoy all the festivities.
