The hotel has a weird odor. Smells like mold throughout the hotel. You can smell it a lot in the lobby and hallways. My room had a burning candle smell, I sprayed air freshener to get rid of the smell. They really should find the source of that odor. Room overall was clean and staff was nice read more

The hotel felt extremely clean and somewhat new. The room was spacious and had a kitchenette which was nice. The location is near the Fort Smith airport with several grocery stores / restaurants nearby. As someone who doesn't sleep well in hotels, I had a great night sleep and would stay here again. Only downside is that breakfast was pretty unsatisfying- basically various breads, cereals, waffles, etc (not the egg and hot options they advertised). For a budget hotel this is a great option for a clean / good nights sleep. read more

Perfect location for my trip. There's tons of places to eat within walking distance as well. Check in was fast and easy. The king room (412) was massive and had a full kitchen and larger than normal fridge. The couch was placed perfect for watching tv. The king bed was plush and the ac was perfect . Breakfast was nothing special imo. They had boiled eggs and a few sandwiches to choose from. They did had omelets but I didn't have any. I would for sure stay again read more

This is a wonderful hotel. Service is very good from the clerks to maintenance. Rooms very well fitted and large. Beds comfortable, washer and dryer accessible. Love the showers and bathroom nice size. The kitchen has full size frig. Not the dorm room size most hotels have. Full size sink, dishwasher, dishes and utensils everything you might need. Only one complaint the breakfast not that great. The lady that serves is wonderful and very accommodating. But the offerings they give her to serve are lame. No meat or fresh cooked eggs they are prepackaged like a gas station. Very clean and fresh but not appetizing. And the only way you get hot food is if you microwave it. We have been staying here once or twice a year, 2-3 weeks each time, for about 8 years as we have employee training and this hotel is close to the airport and some restaurants. We've noticed the last 4 years or so the hotel is not what it used to be. When Sam, Addi, and others were here, it was a great place to stay. Not now. Different management and staff that don't even try. The hotel has maintenance issues. In the conference room that we paid $100 a day for, chairs are broken and worn out. Half the time, the outlet on the conference table doesn't work so we have to string up our own power cords to use our computers. The internet? Well, they "upgraded". Don't expect that to work well. If it's not kicking you out, you're waiting for pages to load. The bathroom pocket door on the king suite our manager is in is broken and he literally threw his back out trying to open it. He said they told him they weren't able to repair it right now. The king suite I'm in smells like a stinky sock and the deodorizer they sprayed when I told them upon check in didn't do a thing. And management? Not trying to be mean but management is poorly lacking. The slim, blonde manager was overheard twice this week talking about how she couldnt wait to "get a bottle" after work (alcohol). I don't care what you do in your spare time but be professional while you're at work or confine your conversations to private areas with your staff. You never know when the pool will be open or closed. Don't count on it. I've been here for 10 days now and we booked 5 rooms for managers and staff and the conference room through August 9 (3 weeks total). The last straw for me is they put someone in the room above me Monday and starting the same night about 11 pm, there has been crazy banging on their floor (my ceiling), horrific screaming, and furniture being scraped across the floor. I called the front desk Sunday night to ask them to reach out to room 306 to ask them to stop, but it didn't stop. I got to sleep 5-6 times that night from a little after 11 pm to almost 1 am, only to be woken by the stomping and scraping noise. I finally just got out of bed at 1 am and couldn't go back to sleep until 3 am. Had to get up at 7 am for employee training so only got 4 hours of sleep. I talked to the front desk the next day and told her what happened. She apologized and told me to call anytime there was an issue "like this". She assured me they would handle if I called. Tuesday about 7 pm I hear blood curdling screams that go on about 10 minutes. Our manager in 406 called to ask if I'd heard it and said he was concerned. I called the front desk to tell her she might want to make sure everything is OK in 306. So Tuesday night, here we go again. About 9 pm, the thundering footsteps of someone running across the floor non-stop. I waited until close to 9:30 pm to call the front desk and the attendant assured me she would call room 306. The noise continues and actually gets LOUDER. I waited about 15 minutes to see if they would stop but that didn't happen. I finally called the front desk again (as I had been instructed to) and the girl assured me she called 306. I asked if she could call again and ask them to please stop. She said, "Let's wait until about 10". I told her I hoped to be sleeping by 10 as I had to get up for work in the morning. She wouldn't call them again and the noise continued until after 11 pm. Queue today. I went to talk to the staff and told them it was still going on. That I had called the front desk just like she'd told me to do. I told her our manager above in 406 was hearing 306 stomp and scream and our employee right accross from 306 had been awakened the night before by them. She put her hands out and asked me what she was supposed to do. Our conversation went on about 5 minutes while I stood there with our employee listening while I tried to reason with Christine. I got nowhere. She kept putting her hands out, asking me what I wanted her to do. I told her it was the hotel's responsibility to ensure quiet time after a certain hour and I was coming to her as she had told me to do. Then she said it was a baby making the noise. I told her no; the attendant the night before said it was a toddler; not a baby. I didn't receive any resolution from Christine. I finally just gave up and left the area and Christine's inquiries as to what I wanted her to do (your job?). I checked out another hotel today. I told them the ridiculous situation we're experiencing at Home2 and we are now moving our 5 hotel rooms and the conference room to Fairfield Inn tomorrow. The lady I spoke with there today after the circling conversation with Christine was very friendly and was happy to show us the conference room and welcome our business. I'm so done with this Home2 and not only would I NEVER recommend it, I strongly urge you to go elsewhere. There are much nicer, updated, and friendlier hotels in Fort Smith. It's sad. read more

We stayed here 2-21-2020 and 2-22-2020. Check out time is 12pm, at 10:30am a staff member walked in without knocking and when she realized that we were in the room, she shut the door then knocked. I opened the door, she said the room was marked as vacant, then she asked if we needed any spoons. Why would she come all the way to our room to see if it needed spoons?? The room was great, although the staff needs to be retrained. We will not be staying at this location again. read more

Our flights at the Fort Smith airport were mistakenly cancelled so we walked towards town when we ran into this jewel. About 3 blocks from the airport, this is a fabulous stay. With a modern and chić touch, the rooms are built for functionality. My sweetheart and I stayed here for a night and it was well worth the price. The room was clean and had a little kitchenette with a dishwasher. Wow! First time we have seen that. They also have a workout room and pool ranging from 3-5 feet. Breakfast in the lorning came with many options: oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, heatable trays for a warm entreé, juice, fruit, coffee, and waffle maker. This hotel has my full reccomendation and we will be staying here again if our flights ever fall through and we need a place to go! read more

I had one of the worst experiences ever at this hotel. This place was an absolute nightmare! The staff were very kind and welcoming. When I got to my room it was beyond spacious. There is a large refrigerator, cups, plates, and everything you'd find in a household kitchen which was great! The shower was great and everything in the bathroom was very clean. The beds were old and definitely worn out. However not so much that you couldn't get a good nights rest. Here is where this place turns into a nightmare. The night that we arrive there is a family who is playing board games in the room next to us. They are beyond loud. This was after 10pm. I called the front. They made a call to their room and they "eventually" quieted down around 12am. The next day we had another set of guests in the room next to us with a child that would not stop screaming. This started at 2pm. When I came back after dinner at 9pm the screaming was still going on. The screaming was deafening. It was so loud I couldn't hear over my own voice. I am not exaggerating either. I called the front desk and they said there isn't anything anything they could do until 10pm. There is a demon that is possessing a child in the room next to me and all you can tell me is that you have to wait until 10pm to tell them to be quiet? There is a family that has a child that has been screaming since 2pm and you can't check on them? Ask if they need help? Send the local priest? Something? 10pm rolls around and this child is still screaming and having a joyous time bouncing balls around. It's like something out of a horror movie. The front desk calls and asks them to be quiet. Doesn't change a thing. At about midnight the lady at the front desk says they can re-accommodate us to a larger room on the 4 floor. I thought it was stupid that we had to move at midnight to another room. Why not just move them? Long story short the management at this hotel has horrible skills when it comes to placement of guests with kids. The guests we encountered were absolutely rude and inconsiderate. I much rather would have payed the extra money for a different hotel anywhere else where the guests aren't possessed by demons. I am not the only yelp reviewer complaining about this either!! read more

Customer service is excellent. When we called to reserve the room, the lady at the desk was very kind and informative. The rooms themselves are very big and have everything you would need to stay forever. The rooms come stocked with dishes and utensils, a microwave, a dishwasher, a full fridge and freezer, a roll out desk, etc. The beds are very comfortable, especially for a hotel. Everything was completely clean and there is an emphasis on recycling/sustainability which I appreciate. They serve breakfast starting at 6am (but I think it is at 9am on weekends) and this alone made the stay worth it. They have egg scrambles, omelettes, sandwiches, wheat waffles, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, English muffins, donuts and more. Everything tasted great! The hotel also has a little gym with two treadmills, an elliptical, a set of barbells (up to 50lbs) and some other options. There is also a laundry room you can use with quarters and an indoor pool to swim in year round as well. The pool was busy our whole stay, however. Overall, I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel for your stay in Fort Smith. The price is way worth it for all of the accommodations offered. read more

I'm not sure how this hotel has such high reviews. The beds are extremely uncomfortable rocks and the walls are paper thin. The room is an unnecessarily large open rectangle that is too big for the air conditioner to accommodate. My room was extremely hot even though I had it set to cool at 65 in the middle of winter. The rooms have connecting doors and someone was slamming mine all night long trying to get in. It is currently filling with cigarette smoke and a dog won't stop barking. I would love a refund since I had zero sleep the entire week I was here for work. I will be switching hotels for the remainder of my stay. Worst Hilton chain I have stayed in. read more

I am partial to Home2's but this one is a favorite. Too bad I do not spend much time in Fort Smith. The rates I thought were a misprint as they were so reasonable. The property itself is well kept and very clean and organized. The staff was absolutely amazing. The pool and fitness area were well kept and it was off season so the place was really quiet. The rooms were very spacious and super clean. The shower was great and the coffee was good. The location is conveniently located near the airport and many restaurants. The only thing that was a little bit off was the lighting in the rooms could be a little better. read more

Loved staying at this hotel! I traveled to Fort Smith many times for work and stayed 10 days at a time some stays and always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere! The staff was kind and always remembered me when I came back which was nice. The housekeeping was outstanding when they came in to do their cleaning always putting everything in the perfect place and going above and beyond but they were also very respectful of my privacy when needed as well! The blackout curtains are a perfect touch I've never seen any quite this nice in any other hotel. It blacks out the sun completely! Would be perfect for someone working nights or that just likes sleeping in!! They do have a pool, fitness room, laundry facilities and complimentary breakfast and coffee as well and are not too far from anything! Stayed here back in July while waiting for our apartment. Although we had all our belongs packed in our car and storage this hotel made us feel comfortable. It was great that they had a gym. The breakfast offered was nice too. The front desk girls were also very helpful with recommendations around the area and receptive with our situation. Would recommend to our future guests. read more

The stay here was great. My grandson got so sick, we had to go to the ER. Fortunately this hotel was close to the hospital. The room and furnishings were great. The desk staff was very helpful. The breakfast looked great, but due to the illness, we had no time to even try it. It was very crowded with families and kids at breakfast, and that was the only detractor. I will stay here again and do recommend it. The price could have been about $25 cheaper per night. read more
