Double "incidental" charges cost me $100 that I should never been billed for in the first place.
    Chris C.

Pros: Clean facilities Cons: Night Clerk had zero personality and acted like she didn't event want to be there. I did the pre-check in that LaQuinta sent me and I had to do everythIng completely over again when I arrived at the hotel. Why waste my time filling out everything online if it's useless? The room was a little over $100 and I was charged $100 incidental fee. A little high considering the price of the room. Had I known this to begin with then I would have never booked the room. Ok, finally in the room settling down and at 115am I get ANOTHER charge of $100 from La Quinta. I immediately went downstairs and the clerk said she did an "audit" and it should have not charged me, but I showed her my account and clearly it did. She said there was nothing she could do for me, that a manager would have to help me in the morning. We came down to check out and there was not a manager on duty. The lady at the front desk took my number and said someone would call me. I got a call back about 12 noon telling me that there was nothing they could do for me and the manager is on vacation until Monday. A lot of good that did me!! I'm the one out the extra $100 on vacation! How would you have felt if that was your last $100 to get you home 2 states away? I was given LaQuinta's corporate number and I was told the exact same thing. "Sorry there is nothing we can do for you, the manager will have to handle it". So La Quinta gets to sit on $200 of my money for 2-3 days. I'm waiting on a call Monday from the manager, if that even happens. La Quinta's error cost me an extra $100 that I should never gave been charged to begin with and I have to wait 2-3 days. before the pending charges clear. I will never stay at another La Quinta again. I'm not holding on to any hopes that anything will be resolved Monday.

Nasty and filthy hotel. Not worth the money at all. BED BUGS AND ROACHES!!! The system was down and the hotel manager wasn't there. HOW CONVENIENT!!! The hotels in the hood were a better stay. No one should ever experience that. DON'T COME HERE!!!

This is behind the bed upon our arrival to the hotel.

A surprisingly disgusting hotel. Roaches, damp carpet, and filth. Would not stay here again. There is no way they are regularly cleaning these rooms with how dirty everything is. There really is about an inch of space under all guests doors, most likely to keep guests from smoking in the room (lots of very active smokers staying here and evidence of previous smokers) The strong smell of stale smoke is competing with the dense mold/mildew smell coming from the AC unit. I did not feel comfortable running the ac unit with the strong smell. I did not feel comfortable bringing food into the room because of the roaches. Nothing has been wiped down so there are greasy smudges on everything from the headboard to the tv screens. I kept my bags in the bathroom bc of how nervous I was about picking up bed bugs or other pests. Furniture in the rooms is also a bit weird. Don't know how this hotel hasn't been shut down or why there are any good reviews. We travel regularly and this stands out as one of the worst places we've stayed. Front desk was nice but the state of the rooms is unacceptable, especially for the price!

If I could just rate this hotel just off of the service and friendliness of the front desk staff I would give it a 5 stars. Sam (evening clerk) was amazing. He greeted us every night, signed each of us up for the rewards program and after one of the ladies in our group mentioned she likes cookies but doesn't like ones that other people might have "breathed on" (she is a bit of a germ hater), he made a fresh batch of cookies and set it aside just for her and us on our last night. Remembering this and accommodating her was truly outstanding. The morning guy (sorry I never caught your name) was also good - we just had more interaction daily with Sam. Now for why the rating is not 5. It is honestly due to cleanliness completely. The fact that my room was still dirty when I checked in (you can see from the photo I have of random food pieces under one bed) and the fact that I did let the cleaning staff come in one day hoping they would catch it (which they didn't) and the cleaning staff actually left trash on the floor and for some reason put some of my personal bath items in the middle of the bathtub (weird I know). I decided not to let them in the second day. Not worth me having to pick up after them. Also the fact that they rooms were supposed to have been remodeled recently didn't really show. I saw holes in the walls only slightly covered by wall pictures, cracked tiles in the bathroom, separating tile in the bathroom that looked and smelled like it had some mold growing behind it. The hot breakfast they offer was really good and I did enjoy it each morning I was there. Everything was constantly restocked and they had a very nice variety. The other amenities we did not really use. The exercise section was on the small size and felt like it would get cramped fast. Also one evening while we walked past the lights were flickering in very weird patterns, kinda creepy. The hotel was better by far than what we would have been exposed to if we had been in base lodging, but it could use some improvements. (Especially in the cleaning department.) The fact that the front lobby carpet was dirty, but a vacuum was sitting there next to the dirt doesn't really make it better. Also, I know most people don't go into the public bathrooms off the lobby but those needed some cleaning TLC too. When I was checking out the last morning and was asked how things were I did tell the guy about the cleaning issues. He apologized and said that could be why there were some cleaning person resumes on his desk in the office. Even if you are trying to hire someone it doesn't mean the people you have should be lax. As I said at the beginning, if I could give 5 stars for the people I talked to I would, but taking into account all aspects I sadly have to make this lower. Maybe if we come back they will have more people that work just as hard as Sam and the other desk clerk.

The location that I was traveling to was less than 5 minutes away from the hotel, which was a plus in my mind. I stayed here during the GA Golden Olympics in the month of September and it wasn't crowded, provided breakfast and amazing selection of coffee (with flavored coffee creamer), teas and hot chocolate. There were so many eatery options surrounding the hotel including Cookout, McDonald's, Checkers, Cheddar's, Krispy Kreme, Longhorns and much more. Additionally, there are various shopping plazas and grocery stores nearby as well including but not limited to Walmart, Target and Kroger. The service and cleanliness of the hotel was absolutely amazing. I usually stay at Hilton Hotels while traveling for work and I've never experienced a "bad" hotel experience with Hilton. I would recommend staying here if you're in the Warner Robins area for a quick trip with the family.

Unfortunately, the only thing rolling was my patience right out the door. Let's start with the room--apparently towels and washcloths are now considered luxury add-ons. When I asked the front desk about it, I was told to come back in an hour... like I was reserving spa time instead of trying to take a basic shower. I returned, hopeful and naive, only to be handed what can only be described as a pool towel and a couple of hand towels. Nothing says "refreshing stay" like drying off with something the size of a napkin. The remote control didn't work because the batteries were dead (a nice throwback to 1998), and the body wash in the shower was completely empty. Had to go back and request soap like I was bartering for rare goods. Now, let's talk about the lobby situation--which appeared to be staffed by exactly one human being for the entire building. Shoutout to Ray, who was somehow juggling a line of guests checking in, people demanding towels, broken room keys, and--my personal favorite--a full-blown "room key shortage." Yes, apparently keys are now a limited resource. Despite the chaos, Ray was genuinely pleasant and impressively patient, which is the only reason this review isn't just a string of exclamation points. Now, breakfast. I went down at 8:30, which I thought was a reasonable, adult time. Apparently not. The selection was... minimal, and by minimal I mean "are we closing?" The highlight? A sign proudly declaring "this is how we roll" placed directly above an empty cinnamon roll case. Bold. Inspiring. Slightly insulting. Overall, if you enjoy scavenger hunts for basic amenities, ironic breakfast signage, and the thrill of possibly not getting a room key, this is your place. Otherwise, you might want to roll on to literally anywhere else.

You could tell that the room was older but it was VERY CLEAN. There was plenty of parking.
