Amazing, the maintenance crew comes through to fix anything. Today they replaced our washing machine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The attendant was kind and courteous.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He fixed it in a timely manner!

Toxic plant that was planted near children's area.

Have not been able to reach the front desk, line down? I noticed on a walk yesterday with child that they have Natal plum planted all up and down the walkways and especially near the children's playareas! This plant is toxic and poisonous to ALL... this is very concerning seeing that the complex is child and pet friendly. I don't believe there should be any toxic plants around the kids areas or in the complex at all! All it takes is for one kid to eat that red berry thinking it's something else and get really sick and/or even die. Please PLEASE REMOVE THE POISONOUS NATAL PLUM plants/ground cover/bushes THAT ARE CURRENTLY PLANTED ALL THROUGH THE COMPLEX, IF YOU CANT REMOVE IT PLEASE GET SOME LARGE SIGNS OUT THERE SAYING "TOXXICCC- DO NOT EAT"" BEFORE SOMEONE GETS EXTREMELY SICK AND NO ONE KNOWS WHY! *photo explanation *Plant the complex planted, pretty unnecessary since it needs so much water anyway!! Toxic to all is not a plant we need in the complex especially when children are allowed to play in it..! PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE ASAP AS THE PLANT IS STARTING TO FRUIT AND KIDS WILL ALWAYS TRY WHAT THEY CANT HAVE.

Can I just stop for a moment and thank Homecoming for just a beautiful home and environment to be around I am so grateful to have found Homecoming in Eastvale. We have one bedroom loft and one bathroom is the floor plan . Being That I have for being a family of three it's definitely comfortable and spacious. I moved in March 2021 and I still feel like we're in a honeymoon phase. Their facilities are all open they're not strict at all with their rules. I love that ! compared to where I used to live was super micromanaged , didn't feel like my home . I want to give a shout out to Mike from the office he is the one that gave us the tour and showed us all the little details from the soccer field to where we were going to be living he is kind and generous with his time! keep it up Mike thank you again!

Upon walking into the front of the property I could tell the Santa Barbara cares not only for its look but its name, I read the reviews online expecting a normal intro, but no... these guys went above and beyond to make sure the transition from our old place to our new was exceptionally easy and smooth as well as fun and exciting. We initially met Mason who jumped leaps and bounds to show us tons of different units in the sweltering sun on a weekend after hours and took his time to answer each and every barrage of question line ups we had, gave us all the insight as how to apply or what we needed to ensure a successful application and win of one of the homes as well as filled us with confidence in his and the teams staff. Mason was extraordinarily kind and helpful throughout the process yet also treated my wife and I with the upmost respect and awesome banter and laughter throughout each tour. The guy needs a raise. Stat. This gentleman could definitely sell ice to an Eskimo, however, picking through the weeds, Mason went out of his way to make the process of picking a home fun and thrilling and even took the time to answer some misc. questions I had after hours whilst applying. Genuinely impressed. The other members of the staff Elissa (may have spelled it wrong) and Esteban were also involved with the I've in and they were absolutely stellar. Everything we needed they were within arms reach at any moment and gave us tons of support through navigating our wedding, the baby, and the move? We had our hands tied. The Santa Barbara chino hills staff members are seriously top notch and I have nothing but grand things to say. I don't trust some of the negative reviews on here. These guys kick major a**. If I could hire them on my sales team for construction I would in a heart beat. As for the maintenance they seem to have an army, and I met all of them pretty quickly so I didn't quite catch a name. But the fellow I walked through and inspected with was also phenomenal and I could tell that him and his team took the upmost pride and care about keeping the place looking fresh and clean. I seriously have no complaints. Every team member was more than pleasant to talk with and gave us ful confidence in our new residency here. We were looking to move out of California till we found this spot. We will definitely be calling it home for quite some time. Thank you to all the staff, if I forgot any names, forgive me, it's been a wild few weeks. If I could leave 10 stars I would. This is THE community to live in, in Chino Hills. And I've seen them ALL. What we got instead was fear, frustration, and a complete lack of care or leadership from Community Director Raven Lexime. Since moving in, we've experienced multiple serious safety incidents, including: * A unit in the community was struck by a gunshot. * A unit was raided by the FBI the day after Memorial Day. * There was an attempted kidnapping on the property. * Law enforcement has been on-site twice with AR-15 rifles, walking through the community, due to the above incidents -- a terrifying sight for any family, let alone one with a toddler. * And most concerning of all, we recently discovered there is a registered sex offender living among us -- in a complex marketed as safe and family-oriented. These are not isolated events -- they've happened in a short period of time and have made us, and many of our neighbors, feel unsafe in our own homes. As parents, we're terrified. We reached out to Raven Lexime to express our concern and ask what was being done. Her response? "The safety of your family is not my concern." That's a direct quote from the person in charge of this community. I responded, "I understand it's not your responsibility to keep my family safe, but as the Community Director, you should have a level of concern for not only my family's safety, but every family in this community." I wasn't reaching out for just us -- I was speaking out for all the families who live here and deserve to feel secure. Sadly, that moment confirmed what we'd already begun to realize: this place is being run by someone who genuinely does not care. On top of the safety issues, trash piles up constantly, bulk items are left out for days, and despite being brand new, the property is already failing to uphold standards. The lack of cleanliness only adds to the overall sense of neglect. For a brand-new "luxury" complex, it's shocking how quickly it has started to feel neglected and poorly managed. If you're thinking about moving here -- especially if you have children -- don't. This is not a safe or well-managed community, and the person in charge has made it abundantly clear she has no concern for your well-being. We deeply regret signing a lease here and are actively looking for a way out. This is not a safe, well-managed, or family-friendly community -- and anyone considering moving here should know exactly what they're walking into. That said, the silver lining in this community has been the incredible maintenance crew, who are responsive, hardworking, and respectful. And in the office, Spinelli and Kayden have been professional, kind, and helpful whenever we've interacted with them. It's clear they care, even if upper management doesn't.

As my time here comes to a close, I want to share my experience as a current resident who has been…read morevery transparent with management throughout my lease. Unfortunately, my time at Vernola Marketplace has been far from pleasant. One of the first major issues happened early on: my boyfriend's car was severely damaged while parked under a broken light near the front of the conplex. I reported it immediately and was told the light would be fixed. It's now been about nine months, and that light was never repaired. There were also problems with rent accounting. My rent was incorrectly input once, and I was almost charged return fees for an error that was not mine--something I had proof of. Security has been an ongoing concern. My boyfriend's car was broken into multiple times. Despite reporting everything, nothing meaningful changed. Packages frequently go missing, and anytime a delivery is misaddressed or left out, it's almost guaranteed to be stolen. I've personally seen police walking the property with shotguns and several patrol cars on different occasions. The most unsettling incident was when our garage was broken into and several items were stolen. When I informed the apartment manager, I was met with dismissiveness. I was told that "crime happens everywhere," as if that should explain or excuse the situation. Even after showing that multiple garages had their locks tampered with--including ours--there was no real concern, only defensiveness. We were even told things like "criminals are good at their job," which felt incredibly inappropriate given the circumstances. At no point did we blame the staff--we were simply trying to report what was happening and warn that whoever was doing this likely had some kind of master access. Instead, the conversations became argumentative and unhelpful. To make matters worse, after our garage was broken into, items were thrown everywhere. Instead of addressing the break-in itself, management commented on our garage not being clean. This was shortly before we decided not to renew our lease. Parking is another constant issue--there isn't enough of it, and neighbors are not always courteous. Trash around the property can get out of hand as well. Throughout all of this, almost every time we brought an issue forward, we were told by the manager that they had "never heard of that happening before," even though reviews from other residents tell a very different story. It felt like a pattern of being minimized or gaslit rather than listened to. Parcel lockers, which we pay a monthly fee for, were broken for about four months straight. I later learned that other complexes offer this as a free courtesy. The garage, which costs $125 a month, didn't provide the sense of security you'd expect for that price. While the property looks visually appealing from the outside, I can't say the overall experience has matched what it costs to live here. I feel relieved to be moving because I truly can't imagine staying another year. For anyone considering moving here, I hope this helps you make an informed decision. I wish someone had been honest in the reviews when I was researching this place. Good luck, and just make sure you know what you're walking into.

This complex is just a dump and there is nothing "luxury" about this place. Been here 10 months and can't wait to get out of here. Looks nice from the outside but has been nothing but hell since we moved in. The roaches and rodent problems, which they act like they don't have. Based on their guidance, we were encouraged to place a $100 holding deposit to reserve the unit. From the very beginning, I explained that my husband had just started a new job and would not yet have one full month of paystubs. We were assured the application still looked fine. After paying $59 per application and the holding deposit, we later found out -- not from the leasing office, but only because my husband called to check -- that our application had been canceled and the apartment hold was removed due to not having one month of paystubs. No one contacted us to explain, give us an opportunity to provide alternative documentation, or even notify us of the decision. This was very frustrating because the exact issue they denied us for was disclosed upfront before we paid any fees. We relied on the information provided by the office and spent money unnecessarily. I understand properties have qualification requirements, but clear communication and transparency with applicants is important. A simple phone call would have prevented a lot of confusion and stress. I hope management improves communication with future applicants so others don't go through the same experience.

GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION, DISAPPOINTING REALITY…read more.. I lived at Capriana for two months and want to give a fair, no-nonsense review of my experience -- the good and the bad, and why I ultimately decided to move. The Good: 1. The staff here is excellent. The ladies in the office were always friendly, professional, and did their best to accommodate me. Never once did I feel dismissed or brushed off. 2. Amenities are solid: decent gym, nice pool, dog park, (very small) food trucks, (way overpriced) Amazon package lockers (huge perk if you get deliveries often). 3. Everything is app-based -- even opening the main gate for guests or delivery drivers, which I thought was a really convenient feature. 4. The grounds are generally clean and there's always plenty of guest parking, which is rare in many complexes. 5. The Nova income verification system was fast and easy compared to other communities that required printing bank statements or tax returns. The Challenges: 1. Noise: I had the misfortune of moving into a first-floor unit below a very loud family. Their toddler was active late at night, and with wooden floors and thin soundproofing, I rarely got a full night of sleep. This is the biggest reason I left. If you choose a first-floor unit, just know that sound carries a lot. 2. Mixed tenant base: Management shared with me that a portion of units are reserved for Section 8 housing. While this may not matter to everyone, I personally would have appreciated knowing this upfront before signing, since it can affect the type of community experience you have. 3. Dog waste: Despite stations and bags provided, some residents did not clean up after their pets, which detracted from the overall cleanliness of the property. 4. Garage issues: My garage remote broke multiple times and each fix took several days. Frustrating, especially given the premium rent price. 5. Price vs. value: I was paying close to $3,000/month for a one-bedroom with little sunlight and ongoing noise problems. For me, the experience did not match the price point. To management's credit, they allowed me to break my lease early without penalty once it was clear the noise situation wasn't improving, and I appreciated that. Overall: Capriana is a beautiful property with great staff and amenities, but the thin walls, premium rent, and tenant mix made it a poor fit for me personally. Others may have a much better experience depending on their neighbors and unit choice, but I couldn't justify staying given the circumstances.

I wanted to update my review for The Crossings of Chino Hills. They have made improvements and…read moreaddressed issues from the past, which I appreciate. Loren at the leasing office has been especially helpful she listens to concerns and works with you to resolve them. Overall, a much better experience. Thank you Loren

For the most part, I really like living here, but I just wish that they would be more strict. Per…read morethe lease, there should never be excessive noise and because I live so close to the pool, people are always blasting their music so loudly that I can literally feel my unit vibrating. Issues will also only get resolved, depending on who you speak to at the office. It's also sometimes really difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. Jacuzzi is constantly broken, and they swear that the pool is heated, but it is freezing even in 95° weather. People are always smoking, even though it's supposed to be a non-smoking property. I've seen residents jumping the gate instead of using their pool... Just things like that, but I feel really cheapen the overall experience of living here. The property itself is beautiful and the amenities are great, especially the huge dog park and the complimentary drinks and snacks you can get from the office during business hours. Also, their gym is the nicest gym I've ever seen at any complex. They also do fun little things like free smores kits during the winter. The best part of living here for sure is the modern property and the people that live here!
