Very, very not impressed. These guys reached out to me through an internet advertising campaign. Sent a salesman to my place on the weekend to talk about covers. They came in with a half reasonable price. After promising a 40 year warranty and a reasonable installation date, I agreed to the sale. I come home to garbage that quite literally my 6, 7, and 8 years old could have accomplished had I given them ladders, a pair of tin snips, and 8.5 hours of uninterrupted work on my roof. Quite literally the reason I contacted and hired the company to install gutter guards was because of the debris gathering and causing reverse flow and flooding on my flat roofed garage. Their one job was to correct this. Uplifting my flashing and causing substantially negative drainage on my flat roof is the opposite of what I ordered. Not only will I not be paying for this, I would strongly encourage everyone other potential consumer to avoid this company. I have means and will take legal action to repair my roof if it comes to that. I would rather not see anyone else come to this point with this company. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS COMPANY AT ALL COATS AT THIS POINT. I will update my review based on their follow-up and their remedy going forward. Signed a gutter install agreement on July 1st. The representative Brian promised to have install done by today (July 6th) . Waited all day , no one showed up. Contacted Brian, no response. Still don't know what's going on. Emailed the company to notify them that we cancel the agreement. What a disorganized company! DON'T USE HOMECRAFT OF CO. Horrible service and horrible quality. We replaced nearly 30 year old 3" gutters, with new 6" gutters from Homecraft of CO and they have not stopped leaking since. 4 visits, and 3 crews later, and I was just told by the least helpful customer service rep, Hannah, that they do not have record of these repair visits and that she needs to reach out to the new project manager Jeol. However, no timeframe could be provided for his response, hers or the manager I asked to be transferred to. Moreover, it doesn't help when each time the crew that is making the repairs gives us a list of what the last one did wrong, and it STILL LEAKS. Leaking has ranged from the down spouts, behind the gutters... how that happens is beyond me, and now the corners where they are bolted together. WORST experience ever. read more

I had these installed and they damaged my brand new roof by lifting the shingles up to high. These guards hold every ounce of snow on the roof and cause the worst ice dams, and a dangerous scenario of large icicles hanging from the roof. These cause more water to drop around the foundation of my home than just letting the gutters do their job and clean them out every few years. I will be having them removed from my gutters. I had to have two different installation crews perform the install as the incompetence abounds. read more

We did not end up purchasing their system so I honestly can't review their product but our experience working the company brought much anxiety and frustration due to poor communication and follow through and we feel they are a high pressure sales company. We met a rep at a local home show while we were looking for gutter companies to get bids to add gutters to the top level of our second story home. The rep assured us that we wouldn't have to purchase the whole system and they would be happy to just bid for standard gutters. After the home show the company was incredibly quick to schedule a sales meeting. At the estimate the sales rep took measurements and then sat us down to go through a flip book presentation of their gutter guards and company. She then presented us a quote of over $8,000 (after discounts for allowing a sign in our yard, providing a positive review online and paying cash) to add gutters and install their guard system to our house. We instantly balked and said thanks but no thanks we don't need gutter guards at that price and we will just look for gutters alone; at which she said, "If you could name your price what would you say?" As this was the first company we had spoken to we thought maybe our price expectations were naive so my husband said $4,000...thinking there is no way a company is going to knock 50% off their product. She got on the phone with someone and after a few minutes says, "Good news, we are going to rearrange some marketing funds so we can come within your desired budget and we will do it for just under $4K!" We were in shock and initially thought this is amazing...so we signed the contract and she set the installation for the end of the week. Which I wasn't thrilled with as the temperature was supposed to be in the teens and potentially snowy; I didn't really want people on the roof in those temperatures and touching the shingles. But this is where things truly went sideways. The sales women took the contract with her and promised me I would get a copy emailed to me the next day. That should have been a red flag as I've never had a company take the contract with them and not leave one in your possession. I didn't receive the contract as promised and had no contact information for her or her office in Denver. I started looking at BBB and online reviews (which I should have done prior to the meeting) and found other reviews that made me feel like my experience during the sales pitch is their standard operating procedure; shock homeowners with a high price and then wow them by "moving marketing funds around" in order to earn the business. I was physically sick as I felt duped into the whole thing...I should have known better. My husband got ahold of someone at the Denver office after searching for their website online and they didn't have a copy of the contract from their rep either and forwarded us to someone at the home office in Georgia who we had to leave a message with. At this point we decided to cancel the contract as I remembered from reading the fine print on the contract that we had 3 days from signing to notify them in writing of our intent to cancel (but of course we had no address as I still didn't have the contract sent to me). We finally heard back from someone in the Georgia home office who took our verbal intent to cancel and provided us their mailing address for the formal notice. (The contract still hadn't been filed although we were supposedly on the schedule for 2 days out). I was assured we would receive email confirmation when they received our letter of cancellation but still I sent the notice by FedEx with signature receipt as it had taken us so many phone calls to get to this point and I didn't trust much of what I was being told. The afternoon we sent the notice to cancel our contract I received a phone call from the sales representative stating she was sending me our contract and she still had us on the schedule! I informed her I had canceled our contract as allowed in the contract terms and to take us off the schedule. The installers did not appear; but I have never received email confirmation from HomeCraft of their receipt of the cancellation notice that I was verbally assured on the phone I would receive, so I'm glad I spent the money for FedEx as I have the proof it was delivered. I'm still getting texts from HomeCraft asking if I'm ready to move forward in our project. I would encourage anyone beginning a home improvement project to do your homework and ensure you get multiple bids and if the bid isn't good for at least 30 days be very cautious signing on the dotted line; I sure wish I had done more research beforehand. read more

Awesome product! Doesn't solve snow and ice, but why anyone would think that, I have no clue. Definitely keeps the leaves and pine needles out. Which is the real problem I was having. Greatly appreciate the company coming out so quickly! And they offered me some awesome incentives that helped them out, but also helped me in my pricing I paid. This company has been hounding us for weeks after requesting a quote. We ended up going with a different company. Received three calls just today (fewer than normal) and was able to answer one of them and told the lady on the phone thank you but we won't be needing their services and she straight up hung up on me. I was shocked that I've told them before that we don't need them and yet continue to be hounded and I'm the one that gets hung up on. Horrible customer service and poor business practice to continuously harass potential customers. If you like being called ten times a day by different Homecraft numbers and rude customer service, this place is for you. read more

This guy quoted me $32 per square feet of gutter. Then he was 'gracious' enough to give me a 50% discount right off the top, lowering the cost to $16 per square foot. He then did the equivalent of a used car salesman going back to his boss...He called the CEO of the company in my presence, and somehow got the cost down to around $9 per square feet under the conditions: A. I let them advertise with a sign in my yard B. I gave them a 5 star review (This is a very good indicator that you are working with a sleazy company--when they want to juke the ratings instead of earning them). I stated that I would get back with them after pricing competitors. Like a sleazy salesman, he stated the offer was only valid for 24 hours. He told me he would call me back the following day at 5 P.M. I never heard from him. He wouldn't leave me an offer sheet to review and compare--didn't even leave his business card. Their sales pitch is to mislead, intimidate, and pressure people into a quick sale before they realize they are paying WAY TOO MUCH. read more

We went with HomeCraft to replace all of the gutters/downspouts of our home. We're now a year and a half in, and we've had 3 separate repair crews come out to fix the initial install. Being that I'm in Colorado, we don't get a ton of rain, but each time it does I'm having to stand outside to make sure they're working as they're supposed to. We've had issues anywhere from incorrect flow angles/standing water, loose connections at the downspouts, water leaking between the soffit and the gutters, water dripping from the corners. Each time we've requested to have someone come out to perform repairs, we get consistent re-schedules/no-shows and intermittent communication from dispatcher. The sealant they bragged as having a 30 year warranty isn't even holding back moderate water after just a year after installation..Not impressed and at this time, I cannot recommend unless these problems are rectified. read more

Install was not done properly and did not perform as it should. Tech returned once but did nothing. After calling the 800# for over a month, we have not heard from the tech. The office is not concerned and continues to say that the tech will call us. They refuse to escalate the issue or connect us to the regional office. I'm in Montgomery Texas. Their gutter cover is one of the best I have ever seen, made from marine grade metal and screen. It covers completely, keeping out leaves, twigs, bird nests and roof granular but lets water thru. It is strong enough to withstand golf ball to baseball size hail as well as high winds. The install is simple yet effective with high grade polymer sealant for the ends, u shaped support brackets and the screen material tucked into the corners for complete closure. Their representative Steve was a pleasure to work with and answered all my questions plus the installer George was fantastic in his skills as well as communicating the progress.
