First time here. Convenient parking and very nice layout with minimal seating inside. Ordered a tuna salad wrap with fries. The fries were extremely good and along with the wrap seemed like a decent portion for the price. The tuna on the other hand was seriously lacking a lot most importantly good taste. It was so fishy one bite was enough to gag and set sail for better tasting tuna. The huge chocolate chip cookies they have definitely made it better. I was very disappointed with their catering. I ordered an American 2 ft hero and asked them to put mayo on side, but they put mayo over the whole 2 feet and it was soggy and most of the people would not eat it. Thank God I ordered chicken as well. When I called them they said bring it back and when I did, they refused me a credit. And said "too bad". Chicken hero was dry and bread not crispy. The staff were really nice the food was good my bf enjoyed his Greek omelette, I had a bacon egg and cheese something really simple the coffee was great.. they have tons of fresh breads, bagels and donuts.. A hole in a wall mom and pop deli that seems to be a diner with an open porch while you drive by... All my wife and I wanted was a descent lunch on a a Sunday. Most of the delis we usually Goto we're closed. Ordered 2 sandwiches, they didn't have 3 ingredients we asked and they didn't offer 2 cold cuts. They both tasted like celery, as if it was mixed in with the lettuce. The pickles were super soggy and disgusting. The chips were expired. And the macaroni and potato salads lacked any mayo and had way too many carrots in them. People were nice at least. Place looked ok. I will only give this place 1 more try within 4-6 months. After that they get black listed. read more

Really nice place to grab a sandwich or a platter of hot food. I stopped in for a sandwich and was genuinely pleased. I decided on an Italian Combo hero. I got it, a bag of chips and a seltzer. It was a pretty good deal. The sandwich itself was very tasty. Fresh and stuffed. I actually couldn't finish the whole thing and ended up having the rest later. I took my order to go, but you can eat there as well. It's a bit odd, cluttered in some places, but open in others. The counter girls were very nice and it looked pretty clean. It's a really good place to grab a sandwich and I'm glad I decided to stop in. read more

On two different visits I ordered a ham and Swiss on a club roll with mayo and tomato. I specifically said "no lettuce" and both times I got a giant helping of shredded lettuce. I was very clear. My other issue with this place is that the older woman who I think is the wife of the owner ALWAYS charges more for the same items. My boyfriend goes there everyday and says whenever she's there she charges more. He said something only to be ignored. There are no prices posted so you can't argue with her. She does not care. There are also a lot of interesting people who hang out there all the time. Often times they're sitting on the steps in front smoking and they are hesitant to move. It's so convenient for us to go there so I can't say we are never going back but this place needs to post prices and a serious attitude adjustment. Oh and DO NOT eat any of the hot food after 1-2 pm. It's inedible by the evening as they do most of their business during lunch. read more

After visiting this deli for both breakfast and lunch, I can honestly say that I am hooked. This is the ideal "more bang for your buck" establishment. Ordered a western omelet, french toast, and pancakes. My tastebuds were literally breakdancing! Their hot lunch buffet has a variety of food and so far has been well cooked and very tasty. A local staple with a nice selection of food to choose from. They recently changed the layout which I find to be a great improvement. They now have a outdoor feeling when the weather permits with an opening front panel of windows that give it a patio feel. Great little deli with a hot table and full kitchen capabilities for your food selections. read more

This is a very delicious & affordable option if you need catering in the Yonkers or Hastings areas. We recommend the Chicken Parmesan trays and all the hot food options. This morning I had a conversation with the owner named Nick. He was very nasty with me in regards to how their bagels and butter rolls are prepared. I bought a butter roll from the Shell gas station that they supply and I noticed a lot of poppy seeds inside the bagel with the butter. I called Nick to make him aware because this is my 3rd complaint about this and he basically told me "we make hundreds of bagels and butter rolls a day. We don't have time to clean off the knife they after every use". He also stated if I wanted a butter roll a certain way the only way to get one how I wanted was to make it at home". I asked him is that how he speaks to his customers and I called him an A**hole because I was basically trying to explain to him that this is cross contamination and there are people have bad allergies to seeds. Well, he didn't like the fact that I called him an A**hole and he called me a bunch of nasty names and hung up the phone. Moral of the story is this establishment doesn't care about their customers or their health. I wouldn't allow my dog to eat from here I don't care how good people claim their food is. I will be contacting the department of Health on this place!! read more

We had breakfast and lunch catered for 75 people for our Yonkers cake show yesterday and these guys were absolutely fantastic. Right on time, very generous with the portions, and everyone commented on how fresh the pastries and sandwiches were. Great macaroni salad, too. We plan on using Homefields for all of our future evens. The owners, Nick and Chrissy, were super accommodating and the price was very reasonable. Can't recommend them enough. read more
