Part of the package from our builder was a 2Gig home security and control unit, several modules for controlling lights, a compatible thermostat and one year of monitoring from Sight Sound and Security. Unfortunately after the first year was up Carl the owner of Sight Sound & Security refused to give us access to the unit anymore and will not return calls or emails. Saddletree attempted to have him contact us but pretty much told us to give up. So Saddletree gives you the basic unit and some control modules but unless you continue to pay Sight Sound and Security it's useless as Carl locks out the system with an installer code and won't change it. The last email I sent Carl was nearly a year ago and I promised him if he did not give us access to the unit which we own I would write an honest review of his business so that others could avoid him. He again did not respond. Buyer Beware.

We spent a significant amount of money with them. Once we worked out a few kinks with some HDMI wiring and our Cell booster while finishing the home everything worked well. Our issue with them (Amanda, Dan) is our cameras are not working. We contacted them and they came out for $150 service fee and told us our power cord was not working. He did not have a power cord and told us to order one. We replaced the cord and the power came back but our router is not working. We were then told to call the manufacturer and it was not their issue or they would charge another $150 to come back out and try to access the situation (which was not figured out on the first visit). I told them I would drop the router off myself but received no response from Amanda. I understand this to a certain extent but I would think since they did the whole home installation they would help us out to get this fixed. We have been paying a monthly service charge for over 4 1/2 years on top of this. We also asked to see the contract we signed for the monthly service fee which we thought was for 4 years but Amanda said it was for 5 years. We still have not received the contract we signed and have not received the phone number for the Manufacturer. I would highly proceed with caution, especially if you need any help once they complete your install.

The folks at Palmvid were blazingly fast in replacing it and ultimately, we settled on a lamp and BOOM - caught the perpetrator! We took down the entire building supervisor and porter team who were systematically taking advantage of the residents! This company was so helpful and did everything remotely. I ordered a plant 1st in October then had to change to an air Purifier. The 1st one I recieved…read moredidn't work so I shipped it back for a replacement. The 2nd one worked but there was a flashing light on the bottom of it that alerted the staff that it was a spy cam and by the time palm vid sent me some stickers to cover the light, it was too late. It had been discovered. They, the workers at the facility, started unplugging the device and turning it away from the area that I wanted to record. I told representative at palm video that it was known but they didn't do anything to help me such as send me a replacement to be used in another area in the room . I wasted $163.00. I should've been offered a different device that I could have placed in another area in the room since it wasnt my fault that lights was flashing , and the people figured out they were being watched. Palm vid should have sent covers for the flashing light when they send the spy cam, especially since they knew that the light flashed to signal it was working.I thought everything was " in secret " and not detectable. I need a good one to do what I purshased it to do. Everyone at palm vid is nice and courteous but that's not helping me now,
