Working with her during my home renovation was incredible - she had such a great way of envisioning our space and suggesting things that I never would have thought of on my own. Every idea she suggested was spot on, practical and very clever, and perfectly fit how we actually live. She came up with the idea of turning an inaccessible corner of our kitchen into a cozy pet food nook in the mudroom, which was a great use of what would otherwise be wasted space. I hired J'Arrange Your Space to help me with large projects on two floors of my home. They are…read moreamazing! Before I explain my appreciation, please allow me to set the stage. I had a tough few years -- a 2019 car accident left me 40+ lbs slimmer (unintentionally) from a size 6/8 to a 0/00 -- with severe, permanent injuries that meant painful flare-ups every time I tried to bag up my old wardrobe for donation. A year ago, a catastrophic sewer line break flooded two floors of my home, leading to a large renovation project and leaving a huge mess behind. Before and after that, I had smaller home water emergencies that also required renovations. Finally, a former resident of my home caused and hid life-threatening mold that not only led to me in critical condition at a hospital -- but also required major home renovations to repair as well. The former resident left so many possessions in my home that I needed help disposing of them all since I can no longer do that kind of work myself. Jennifer and her team truly came to my rescue! In the course of a few weekends, they: --cleared a small bedroom that I'd previously used as a closet (with Amazon racks) -- where I'd piled up bags of my older, way-too-big clothes -- to make room for a custom closet that I decided to have installed last minute after reviewing the Instagram page for Jennifer's company. Jennifer may not have realized this at the time, but her helping me make this happen felt like a way to honor what my body has been through these last few years by displaying the clothes I can only fit now because of the car accident. --set up that same room with my new clothes and a pretty shoe wall after Modular Closets installed the custom closet. --cleared a guest bathroom and guest bedroom of more clothes I couldn't fit, sorted items thrown in both rooms during renovations and during multiple moves in/out of Airbnbs and hotels while the house was repaired. They also cleared these areas and the basement (more on that below) of items left behind by a former resident. --made my finished basement useable again by: bagging up trash and donations, organizing the bulk of the storage room, and repurposing items from the upstairs bedroom to have a new life in the basement (clothing racks used for my old clothes in a spare bedroom are now used for my dogs' clothes, for example) --last but certainly not least, they organized my master bedroom and guest bedroom closets and drawers in a manageable way I think I can keep up over time. Jennifer is also a walking dictionary of items from Amazon that can help with organization without breaking the bank. I had some organization items but appreciated the suggestions for what to add and look forward to continuing to use those items over time. I got to know Jennifer and three team members over a month while we worked on this project. I trust them and recommend them wholeheartedly. They know my home better than I do at this point. :) They bagged up 45+ bags of clothes, shoes and other items for donation (plus many bags for trash/junk hauling). I am so grateful for them.
