We love to walk around and peruse in this store. They have a great selection of just about anything you'd need for the home. We like to check out clearance areas to see if there are any hot deals. Today we got a good deal on an area rug. Customer service was friendly and patient when we were having bank card troubles.

Thought it would be fun to go into HomeGoods real quick today see what I can buy. Found a nice crystal ball see if I can read into the future LOL and really cool basket I'm going to put on a square table can a balance it out in here. Everyone is masked up and trying to social distance which of course, is pretty hard while you're playing looky-loo in a big store like that. Anyway, nice distraction for a while and the prices are really good in there. I went into the one in Mission Valley last week and it's all pretty much the same stuff in either store. But still really happy to be getting out.

    Great selection of furniture

Plants = yes, this thrift also sources AMAZING plants to sell and they pair it with follow up care / advice, so if you get it home and forget how to care for it, send a message and they'll happily help. Trinkets, treasures, small household items, shoes in REALLY great condition? Yep, they've got all that! Fun events? That too! Plant Bingo and propagation swaps to name a few. Hannah and Hanna are amazing.

The team is so delightful, uplifting and the place is a total vibe. The owners engaged with each person on some level or another and were super friendly (not the fake kind). They knew so much about plants, and as a plant girlie myself, I was diggin' it. They are all about community and care about what they put out to sell. Honest Thrift has options for everyone. Trinkets, clothes, shoes, plants, music, art etc. The pricing is affordable and fair, and their plant selection is beautiful and properly priced for a boutique style premium selection of plants of very well maintained and cared for. Heck, what you save on buying clothes for $4, splurge on your plant. If I didn't have nearly 100 plants in my own house and own my own plant business, I'd get mine from here. Do know, I'll buy cutesy things for my home and gifts for others.

We're pretty familiar with these brands so the price point isn't really shocking to us, but I could see why it would be for some. The associate helping us out today was super friendly, I wish I got his name to give him a proper shoutout. Our class was on a really nice day, and for a super reasonable price, we got 1.5 hours on the wheel, which felt like the perfect amount of time. The wheel throwing class is either indoors (behind the plant shop) or in the back (half exposed garage). We were in the back and it was a good amount of space for our group of 4 people. There were more couples next to us as well. Also, I loved that they allow you to bring outside drinks to enjoy while creating, making it a fun and relaxed experience. Our instructor was great--attentive when needed but also gave space to explore at your own pace. This wasn't our friend time on the wheel, but we were with friends who were new to wheel-throwing, so he assisted when needed. I can't wait to see our finished ceramic pieces! Whether you're a plant lover, an aspiring ceramicist, or just looking for a unique experience, Botanica is definitely worth checking out. After your session, it's a good excuse to explore the streets of OB - especially on a very sunny day. I'll definitely come back another time.
