Fast forward 18 months, and the screen developed some unusual wear. It didn't affect the picture, but it was noticeable on dark scenes. I figured I'd see what Best Buy had to say. From start to finish, the experience was incredible: Justin in Geek Squad genuinely cared about helping me and made the process easy. Carla, the Geek Squad technician, was knowledgeable, professional, and confirmed the issue was covered. Within hours, my claim was approved. I then worked with Stephen from the Audio/Video team, who went above and beyond to find the replacement TV I wanted, even though it wasn't in stock. Ryan, the Assistant Store Manager, also took the time to answer my questions and made sure everything was taken care of. Great teams are built from the top, down and it shows. In the end, I received the newer model of my TV and even got about $500 back in store credit because of the price difference. I honestly couldn't be more impressed. This experience has truly changed my opinion of buying big-ticket electronics in-store. I'll absolutely be purchasing them from Best Buy going forward, and I'll always add the Protection plan. Last week I had to emergency purchase a new camera body for a shoot. Best Buy had it listed as "1-hour pickup," so I placed the order thinking I'd be able to grab it before my shoot. Hours later the order still wasn't ready so I figured I'd be able to grab it the next day. Come to find out the NEXT MORNING, they didn't actually have the camera in stock. When your livelihood depends on your equipment, listing something as available for pickup when it isn't can put someone's entire job at risk. And this isn't my first frustrating experience with them. I've also seen products priced higher right before a "sale," making the discount look way better than it actually is. I'm just so tired of corporate greed and huge companies getting away with practices that would absolutely destroy the reputation of a small business. Also customer service did absolutely nothing for me when I told them about the issue.

He said cuz we purchased the floor model, they wouldn't know if it works or not until installed. He explained customer's time taking off work for delivery and repair days is not his problem. He's there to run a business and giving a discount is not an option. She says yes but doesn't tell us how long she'll be. We sat around for 15 minutes and left. The receptionist didn't even attempt to keep our business. I'm sure the end result would have been solid but this entire process took 4 weeks. Horrible business operations.

Our relationship with Pacific, kitchen and bath started out like a really great first date. The showroom experience was impressive. The sales team was attentive, knowledgeable, and full of promises about how wonderful our future together was going to be. We were smitten. So smitten, in fact, that we committed to nearly $30,000 in appliances. Then the relationship got serious. Suddenly, those wonderful promises became "someone will call you" and "we will get that taken care of", "the installer will come back" and my personal favorite: another appointment. And another. And another. At this point, Pacific Kitchen and Home has been to the house so many times that I feel like we should stop calling these installation appointments and start calling them Dates. Unfortunately they keep showing up without flowers and occasionally leave without finishing what they came to do. We have rearranged schedules, made the property available repeatedly, waited for installers, dealt with return visits, and continue to be patient. When you spend nearly $30,000 on appliances-- and yes, I have the receipts-- it seems Reasonable to expect the installation experience to bear at least some resemblance of what was promised during the courtship. The frustrating part is that we really did like Pacific Kitcgand Home. That's why we made such a substantial purchase here. We weren't looking for the cheapest appliances; we were paying for what we believed would be a higher level of product, service, coordination, and follow through. So, Pacific Kitchen and Hone/Best Buy, we're not ready to break up. But we do think you owe us dinner. More specifically, we would appreciate a call from a store manager or someone at Best Buy customer relations who has the authority to review the history of this installation and discuss an appropriate refund or compensation for the installation charges and the extraordinary number of visits it has taken to get the purchase across the finish line. I would genuinely love to come back here and update this review to say: " They called. They listened. They made it right. Second date approved." Until then, I think we need to talk about our relationship. read more

Charles assisted me with purchasing new a Sub Zero Classic 36 inch column refrigerator and freezer set. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and facilitated a seamless purchase and installation. I explained that I was very particular when it comes to attention to detail and requested that he put his best contracted installers on my install. Without hesitation, he knew exactly who to choose for the job. Alan and Pepe with Prime One Installs arrived at my home exactly when they said they would. My first impression was extremely positive. Their vehicle and appearance was extremely professional, as was their demeanor. They protected my hardwood flooring and cabinetry when removing my old side by side column refrigerator and freezer, and took the necessary steps to ensure the install was flawless. Alan and Pepe worked very well together. Alan's attention to detail far exceeded my expectations. I am unfortunately cursed with an extremely critical eye. Alan was very perceptive by immediately recognizing it. He took the extra time necessary to ensure the columns were perfectly level and flush with the existing cabinetry. At no time did they rush anything and went above and beyond to ensure things looked perfect. Alan and Pepe clearly take extreme pride in their work, which is pretty rare these days. We recently completed a $20,000+ transaction with Pacific Sales that we took about 2.5 months from start to finish, and throughout the entire process, the customer service was exceptional. Dave Sablan was incredibly thorough, detailed, and professional every step of the way. My husband is meticulous and asks a lot of questions, and Dave was never once phased by his questions or quirks. He always remained patient, knowledgeable, and focused. What stood out immediately was how comfortable Dave made us feel. I bought a Bosch fridge and dishwasher, a Samsung washer and dryer and a Viking range. All the service staff at this location are knowledgeable about the products. I visited several times (as well as other stores) before deciding what I wanted. My service rep was Sergio he helped me make all my orders on the phone and set up delivery dates. It turned out that the washer and dryer I originally wanted (from Bosch) kept getting pushed back by the manufacturer so in the end I was on a tight timeline to have a washer and dryer on site for the contractors to install. Sergio recommended the Samsung set - which I love. A month or two later after the construction was complete my Viking range died and Sergio helped me contact the right service reps to get the oven fixed. With all the problems Pacific Sales (none were their fault) were great throughout they were responsive and gave me great advice. read more

BAD SERVICE This morning I saw an ad Pacific Sales in Mission Valley was selling a Sony 46" LCD TV for $1497. I called to check if they still had the TV and a man named Tony told me that they still had "a whole bunch" in stock. I left right away and arrived at the store 15 minutes later, and met Tony. He told me that he's the manager of the electronic department and apologized, saying that the "whole bunch" of TVs had been sold in the 15 minutes it took me to get there. (Unbelievable!) Instead, he tried to sell me another TV for $2000. When I demanded that he prove the sales and show me the records, he told me that I wasn't welcome and asked that I leave. Do not come here and waste your time with these salespeople and false advertising! Despite the 1 star, in reality, they receive NONE. read more

Xylina helped me through the selection and purchase process to fully outfit my new kitchen with appliances, ensuring that colors matched between brands, installation kits were included and taking care of a myriad of other important details, and all the while patiently answering my many, many questions. Prime One did the installation and they were superb. There was some initial doubt that the 42" Dacor refrigerator would fit into the elevator but they did a pre-install survey and determined that it would - and it did, with maybe a 1/2" to spare! David Lucero was awesome to work with. Ive had two months of nightmare experiences with trying to get a new washer and dryer installed - and David was the one who pulled if off and cared enough to find me the units I wanted, get them in ASAP and make sure I was taken care of. It was excellent customer service. He was happy to help and went out of his way to ensure I got my unit quick and it worked. After so many bad experiences (*Cough*CostcoLogistics*Cough*), David made up for all of it. He and his company pulled it where everyone else failed miserably. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in any industry. Kitchen appliance worker uses slang to describe the appliances and obnoxiously checks his watch every few minutes to let us know we're there past closing time. He can't help us find a sink, only the sink man can, and the sink man has already clocked out. I have never had a more difficult time trying to spend $3,000 in my life. (I ended up going with Aztec Appliances, by the way.) It's very sad that so many qualified, professional, service-driven people are without work when these boneheads are employed. I cringe just driving by the place and will never step foot in this store again. Ugh. read more

I stopped by Pacifc Sales Kitchen & Bath on Morena Blvd. a few weeks ago looking for a hard to find bathroom sink to fit an existing vanity. I had been to the big box stores with no luck. My sales person, Dan Rolfe, was awesome. We looked at a wide variety of show room items and found one that fit my needs but was the wrong size. Dan searched his inventory and found the last sink available in the size I needed. It was at another facility but Dan had it for me the next day. Lars appliance salesperson was extremely helpful and quick to respond and the installation of my new Miele dishwasher was smooth. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 was that, although they are an authorized Miele dealer, nobody knew that the dishwasher cannot be hardwired (it voids the warranty). This resulted in being offered a very small list of available dishwashers due to the depth of my cabinets. I would have opted for another dishwasher with better racks had they known the machine had to be connected to the outlet. I also emailed the salesperson after I placed the order and was again told the dishwasher can be hardwired. The installer had to install the outlet during installation. I wasn't charged for it as I had it in writing that the sales team made an error.

This past month we had to place a service request to have one of drawers adjusted. Service technician Chris was sent out. His communication and dedication to making sure we were happy with the repair was truly amazing! The job took a bit of time to complete because the installer only works half days, but I easily overlooked that because I cared more that the job was done right. After completion I realized the cabinet face frames were not covered in any laminate material. They were left bare leaving the wood exposed and prone to damage. When I finally got in contact with Lynn (first I messaged Tom and I believe Glen(?) with no response) she stated that face frames are considered a part of the interior cabinet which is not included in their refacing process and that the refacing only includes exterior surfaces. My question is, If this was not included in the process, then why remove the old face frame material, only to leave the wood bare. If refacing the frame was not included, then don't remove what is currently there, especially if the cabinets are being refaced the same color. Furthermore, the old face frames on those particular cabinets were still in good condition. This makes no sense to me and I simply cannot recommend this company with such lack of morality and care.

The product I selected was Wilsonart High Pressure Laminate in Hemlock Crown, a gorgeous wood grain image in grey and blue. I had never done a laminate job before and it is not easy for the beginner. When picking up my adhesives the staff took time out to give me plenty of tips on how to do the job right, how to handle my router and how insure the best results. They also gave me a discount on my adhesive for having a small dent on the can. I recommend this company to anyone with such needs and I thank them.

Tuff Shed provided architectural design, permitting, concrete, build-on-site, doors and window for an affordable price. Their buildings are made to last. I am so pleased with my garage, that I stopped at this location to ask if Tuff Shed had entered into the accessory dwelling unit business. Sadly not:(. Well the buyers for my place wanted a screen door. So I went back to this establishment and talked about what would they need to make a brand new screen because I no longer had the original one that was here when I moved in 17 years ago. They told me how to measure the door frame for the exact fit. At one point I was on the phone talking to Vicky with the measurements. After they were finalized 3 business days later I called to see if it was complete, I was told it ready so I went to pick it up and I had the sliding glass screen door that fit perfectly!!!! So again like I always so try them you may be able to solve some screen issues you have encountered.

I own 3 rental…read moreproperties in the same condominium complex and wanted to install new windows and sliding glass doors. I called 8 different companies and received 8 different estimates. I told each company to come with their best/cheapest estimate as I was shopping around. Hardware Solutions was thousands of dollars cheaper than the next closest estimate. At first, I figured it was too good to be true and that Hardware Solutions must use cheap materials or have poor craftmanship. I visited Hardware Solutions warehouse in person and it is AMAZING!!! I felt the quality of their windows and materials in person and saw immediately that it was of high quality. I investigated Hardware Solutions further because this was a big investment for me and I wanted these windows to last a lifetime. Without disclosing too much info/trade secrets, they receive their windows from a Los Angeles window factory and somehow they're able to get better pricing for the same windows than their competitors. I chose to proceed with Hardware Solutions after determining this information and it was the best decision I ever made. My 3 rental units turned out amazing and the install was flawless! The install for all 3 units were done on the same day and it made each unit look brand new. I couldn't believe how much better each unit looked after installing new windows and sliding glass doors. The windows were installed during Summer and my tenants noticed a remarkable difference in how much cooler the unit stayed. I was so impressed with the price and quality of craftmanship, that I hired Hardware Solutions to install new windows and sliding glass doors for 3 other rental units I own. They installed new windows and doors for the other 3 rental units and they turned out just as great as the original 3 units. Lastly, the sales representative I used was Raquel. Raquel was INCREDIBLE and extremely professional. She went above and beyond with everything I requested. I asked for estimates and she always responded in a timely manner. I was going to go with a different window company (Anlin) because they offered a lifetime warranty with their windows. Raquel was able to offer the same lifetime warranty that Anlin offered. I had a bunch of questions for Raquel, but she always took the time to explain each one and made me feel very comfortable choosing Hardware Solutions. I'm sure you'll have a positive experience with any sales representative at Hardware Solutions, but if you want the VERY best, go with Raquel. You will not be disappointed and tell her that Dusty says hello. :) I will use Raquel and Hardware Solutions for every future home construction need. They also do doors, blinds, and many other home improvement options besides windows and sliding glass doors.
