This Hallmark store has everything you need for any occasion. It has, of course every type of card imaginable, but it also has a great selection of gift wrap and bags as well as tissue paper and bows. They have ornaments near Christmas which I think every kid loves a Hallmark ornament because they are so unique and most are interactive in someway. They have a huge store with a variety of gifts for anyone on your list. They have blankets, housewares, knickknacks, holiday themed items, and anything else you could be looking for. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. It is located near Rite Aid in Tierrasanta. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot. You can also sign up for the rewards program and get free cards which is awesome.

I'm a regular at the Tierrasanta Hallmark. The STAFF is what makes this place amazing. Their excellence in serving customers and going above and beyond each time makes you feel special. Special shout-out to Brianne and Tammy! They always help me find the best gifts/cards for my wife

And yes...I had to explore all three! Both markets were bright, clean, and incredibly well organized. One of my favorite sections was the tea aisle. As someone who absolutely loves tea, I was in heaven. Their selection is huge, with everything from loose-leaf teas to powdered varieties that you don't typically find in traditional American grocery stores. I'll definitely be back to stock up on a few new favorites. I originally stopped in to purchase a matcha whisk set, but it was a little more than I wanted to spend. That didn't stop me from finding a few treasures, though! I ended up browsing the cookware section and picked up a beautifully designed set of reusable chopsticks along with beginner-friendly M-shaped training chopsticks. One unexpected highlight was getting to try a hand massage machine. It applies pressure to acupuncture points throughout your hand, and wow--it felt amazing! I'm seriously considering going back just to buy one. The produce section also looked fresh and inviting, so I can definitely see myself returning to shop for groceries. Plus, since my sons love anime, I already know they'll enjoy checking out the merchandise store with all the fun Japanese collectibles and character items. Whether you're looking for authentic Japanese groceries, unique kitchenware, specialty teas, or fun gifts, Tokyo Central & Main is absolutely worth visiting. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by--you'll probably leave with more than you planned, just like I did! And you already know you can always thank me later

Awesome customer service here! I called over the morning of my discharge from Scripps La Jolla…read moresince SLJ had run out of rental pumps. I was a mess, recovering from a cesarean, had just spent 78 days in antepartum, had a baby in the NICU, hormonal, etc so just needed the process to go smoothly. And that it did! I called over and was assured that there were plenty of pumps in stock. When I arrived, the clerk greeted me right away. I asked about insurance, etc. and got everything squared away as far as payments. She let me vent to her a little about the day I was having and displayed so much empathy. She then carried the pump out to the car for me since I couldn't lift due to my c-section. When I called later to ask for more information for my insurance, she gave me very clear instructions on who I could call to get the information I needed. It was such a seamless process and I'm so happy to have gotten my pump in a timely manner.

I've heard of this place for years and it was finally my turn to need it!…read more I couldn't wait to take my breast pump to New Beginnings for a "once over" and new tubes. The parking was easy (free if they validate). The store was small, but had all the essentials and the service was amazing. They offered some great advice about my pump and even looked over the other features to make sure all was in tip top shape! While I was looking around there was a new mother, in her hospital gown, being helped with finding a nursing bra. How cool is that! She just had a baby, her milk had come in, and she didn't have to change out of her hospital gown or leave the hospital to find a nursing bra. That's amazing service! Why every hospital doesn't offer this is beyond me! The sales ladies are so sweet and so helpful. This place is wonderful!

They truly make every visit such a fun and relaxing experience. A special thank you to MJ for going above and beyond. Pottery Painting at The Hot Spot in Liberty Station…read more We took our team of 15 to do pottery painting and it pains me to say that for groups, it was a bit of a let down. I've been here before with a friend and I'd say this location/company does better with smaller groups and not larger groups. I pre-booked our reservation and when we arrived, they had our large table with the paper on it with most things needed except paper towels. The seats felt really close together even with fitting all 15 of us so some had to sit on other tables since it's pretty crammed. For groups over 6 (I believe it was), they charge a 15% service charge and I completely understand and am happy to pay it if a decent experience is provided but it was basically self-service so I'm wondering what should have been included. The employee introduced herself who was "assigned to us" and handed out the cards to put paint on and added our pottery selections to her notepad. That was the extent of her help. I ended up going around to our table asking if anyone needed paper towels (since they weren't provided) or more paint. If our table was a small group, I could see that not being necessary but we were a large group who was paying a premium. The employee didn't come back to check on us as it got close to finishing. I went up to get ready to check out and find out where everyone needs to bring over their pottery and the employee remembered that people should write their initials with a special pencil. It was a bit disorganized and I had higher expectations with what we were paying. Is the service fee just for the extra paper on the tables because the other groups/individuals who didn't "get someone assigned to them" got the same level of service our group did. Our reservation was in the early afternoon and with this July heat, it did get hot. The shop had doors and windows open but 1 small fan in the corner of the room that didn't make much of an impact. I'd suggest more fans because this place makes great margins for what they offer. Overall, I wouldn't suggest this place for a group activity over 6 people. The service isn't worth it for the service fee. You're better off to have the group go in as individuals unfortunately.
