This is a normal HomeGoods. I came here looking for duvet covers. They have a lot of king/queen/full sizes from Portugal. They don't have the big expensive brands but the duvet cover I bought was of good quality. I usually Google the brand names and products to see if they have good reviews or not. They also have a good selection of pillows, comforters, blankets, and sets. The staff was friendly but the employees were too busy talking to each other. They didn't even notice the customers waiting in line. They talk to each other when there are no customers in sight. read more

Schaumburg HomeGoods has always been a great location that stays well stocked in every category. Aisles are pretty clean and items are organized well. Shelves can mostly be packed up and sometimes you need to dig or look further down on the shelves to find pairs or sets as customers pick up then put back somewhere else. Price points are great but they also offer additional markdowns at pretty good prices and are always adding new markdowns weekly. They have a great selection of wall art and mirrors in the back of the store as well. read more

I love this store and location! It's in a large parking lot surrounded by a bunch of other stores, so you never have a problem getting a parking spot unless the area is extremely busy. Sometimes, I feel that Home Goods stores have crap thrown all over the place, but to my surprise, every time I'm at this specific location, things are laid out nice and it seems like a clean store! I always find such cute decor for our home, especially for the holidays, and they have a wide selection. Pro tip: Come here about a month earlier than a specific holiday if you're finding themed decor because if you wait longer, nothing cute will be left. The workers here are always nice and helpful, and they consistently have many checkouts open at once. I've always been here when it's busy, and the checkout line is long, but because there are so many people working at one time, the line flies by. The cashiers also do a great job wrapping glass items in tissue paper before handing you the bag. I personally never had a bad encounter with a cashier here. One thing to be careful of is to carefully look at things you are thinking of buying because a few times I wanted to buy something, and it was broken. Rather than telling workers, many people who accidentally break things here just put it back on the shelf. Also, be careful with the price stickers they put on everything because sometimes it's impossible to take off, and it leaves that sticky residue. It's definitely a huge pet peeve of mine with places like Home Goods and Marshalls. We just bought an easel mirror for our bedroom from here and it's so nice and fits our bedroom's farmhouse aethetic. They also had plenty different mirrors to choose from, as well as ones similar to the one we bought but with different cplor shades and/or cuts of the mirror's frame. Overall, I like this location, and they have great finds if you're willing to take the time to look. They have great furniture finds for cheap, too! read more

There are a lot of unique items with good quality and lovely designs, so you will be tempted to full more your cart with their products. I went to get plates and glasses the last time I visited and ended up with a whole cart. So, you must bring a large budget when you go shopping here. The checkout procedure went off without a hitch also. The staff are nice and friendly, they are able to entertain their customers well, without problem. So, I will definitely come back here again. Excellent Home goods location with vast selection and good clearance items. The customer service is GREAT. One of the employees, went above and beyond on the phone to find an item for me and even remembered me when I came in. Home goods is a great place to grab some stuff for the house or unique gifts for family and loved ones. It's hard to walk out with just 1 item. Last time I went for spoons and left with a full cart. I like the location of this Home Goods because there are a lot of great stores near here so I can get all my shopping done in the same area. This store has all the same stuff as every other Home Goods so that's not the problem. The down side to this store is that it's really over packed with stuff and not very organized. I also feel like it's a little under staffed. There always seems to be spill over from the shelves to the floor and it's a little hard to navigate through. I also think the flow could be a little better with where things are located in the store for an easier transition. One thing that really frustrates me is that I have found a lot of broken items here which stinks when you like something but it's the last one and it's broken. We've been here for about 1 hour already. My sister is having a hard time to choose what kind and color of tables and chairs for her living room. I suggest to her that she choose a plain round table with wood chairs. It looks perfect to her living room since it was aesthetic. It has a color of white, beige and gray. At first she doesn't want to choose my recommended because it was so simple but at end she purchased it. We also bought a pillow for her couch. It's the good thing that their pillow was soft and comfortable. We went to the counter and there is long line. After we paid it we told to staff that we need and put our purchased in our car. Thanks to HG, I was able to furnish my place with: - Scented candles that would cost an astronomical $32 at any other Yankee candle-selling store, but range anywhere from $3.99-$12.99 here. - Large ceramic stag and gazelle busts to be wall mounted. - A rustic green entryway bench so I don't have to squat to take my shoes off. - A turquoise bank in the shape of an angry hippo (awesome). - A crinkle cat tube - FunkyChunky Chip-Zel-Pop mixed chocolate covered treats on mega discount of $12.99. - Catnip + scratchers in the shape of cradles. Normally $32.00, HG price of $9.99-$14.99. - Fox coffee mug. Impractical the way the ears are placed on the rim, but cute as f*ck and not something I regret purchasing. Thank you, HomeGoods. Store review: For home essentials and kitchen item, home goods is always a store to visit. The old season items from department stores will make there way to this location. Usually great prices can be found on items and be on the look out for the clearance section with the red flags and red tags. You can't find almost any home item here. Although when things are original price they may not be as good of a deal. Other good finds include pet items as well. 4.5/5 stars because of the variety here. Store was very well stocked for a Saturday evening. This was my first visit to this HomeGoods location. Lots to choose from and the prices are very competitive. Large coffee section and I even found some Kona blends which can be tricky to find. Lots more 'gourmet' food at this location compared to some of the other HG I've visited. Nice pet department. Store is clean and well-organized. I didn't encounter any staff on the sales floor, but my shopping buddy was able to check-out in under 30 seconds. Wow. Great location in Schaumburg. I'll definitely be back before Christmas. Who doesn't like Home Goods? This place is great for items for the house. I just gave a review for At Home which is just around the corner from Home Goods. Home Goods may be smaller, but you will find many more items you want to buy. The styles seem newer and better at Home Goods. Great selection. Nice store. Very busy with frequent long lines, but that means they are doing their job bringing people in with good items. Great finds on the clearance end caps. Not much interaction with employees as they were ringing up customers, but no negative experiences. HomeGoods is always a great choice when looking for decorating and random items for the home. It's like everyone is redecorating their bathroom and guest bedroom and flocks here to snag their discounted wares. However, if you have the time (or timing) and patience, you can find some super cute scores here. From big fluffy towel sets to kids' gifts to upscale kitchen gadgets to luxe mirrors, HomeGoods has it...somewhere. The aisles are packed with people and things alike, so go with a keen eye and an open cart. Parking can be hairy on the weekends, but it's not too awful on this side of the (strip) mall. I loved Homegoods! A girlfriend of mine moved into a new home and the walls are huge...and bare! So, we headed out to see what there was to see. It was my first time here and I was immediately in major "like" with this store. We walked up and down the aisles. There's so much to see! I loved some cake platters in the clearance section, but seriously when was the last time that you saw me make a layer cake requiring such a lovely presenation? Actually, that's something that I noticed too. There was more than one clearance section!! Woo Hoo! Their pet selection is pretty nice. My fur-kids are pretty happy with their existing toys and don't really need much, but I have BIG plans to come back and investigate their offerings further. They had some cool mirrors and other wall hangings that I liked quite a lot. I could really see coming back from a housewarming gift. We ended up finding an bench from my friend's front entryway. It was perfect! And it was on clearance!! It was sturdy and we couldn't find anything wrong with it and so it found a new home. Homegoods earned a couple new customers with that sale! read more

It's always a crapshoot at places like home goods, tj maxx, and marshals. Sometimes you find a bunch of great things for great prices. Other times your walking out with your head down in despair convinced someone just left with all the great stuff you wanted right before you got there. This particular home goods was kept up nicely and had a friendly staff ready to help with anything. Today we found a sweet 8x10 rug for $150. This wasmy first time here, and if you've never been it is basically a TJ Maxxor Marshal's for household items. They have probably a million differnt things in here. Maybe I'm just new to the whole domesticated shopping culture, but I don't see the difference between some department stores. If that's the case, and you're reading Yelp reviews because you're a newb like me, then follow along. If not, this review may be not be for you. In the last month I've been to department store after department store searching for some kitchen specifics as well as decorative pieces to use throughout the new place. What confuses me with Home Goods is how it differentiates from Marshalls, World Market, Ross, or Target. More specifically, why does it cost more seemingly identical products? Perhaps the style is different slightly or the material has a different texture, but the price tag doesn't quite compute with me. Despite my mixed review of Hobby Lobby, I could easily go there to cover the decorative aspect of my shopping at half the price (if I was looking for that style). I know I'd have to go elsewhere for my kitchen items, but this Home Goods had a limited selection anyhow so I'd being going elsewhere to begin with. The only thing we found with a reasonable price was a set of nesting mixing bowls, which wasn't on our list in the first place. I hate to say it but unless I see a clear explanantion for why I'd have to pay more for what's being offered, my visits to HG will be few and far between. Last week I found an Evolution Waterford vase to match my Waterford decanter for only $39.99!!!! When searching Home Goods or TJ Maxx,etc. you have to have a plan. You must know what you are looking for ( or what piece you really want ) or you will lose your mind. So long as you have a plan the opportunities are endless. I'm definitely a fan of this home good. I go to several of these and this one is one of my favorites, just wish it was a little closer to my house. I went during the holiday time and had a great time here. This place is like a Target for me, I can spend a lot of time here and a lot of damage can be made on any one particular time. They literally have everything from candles, to picture frames, home goods including furniture and lighting, to fine china and pots and pans, to a great kids section. I mean they literally have it all. I seriously am not exaggerating when I can spend hours here going around searching for things i need for my home, and things I don't and just find pretty. I have bought my favorite Nicole miller white and gold hearts tea set here. I seriously am obsessed with it, but the only thing that stinks is that they sometimes sell out of sets so you can't always find the perfect set of 4 or 6 or however many you need, you may just have one nice little vintage item. I also just bought some gorgeous picture frames that have the quality of pottery barn with the less than Target prices. Now that makes me happy since I always feel like I'm getting a good deal here. Come here but not necessarily during the holiday times since it can get a little crazy, but then again the inventory is larger during this time so you can more than likely find something useful. Whenever I need a last minute gift and I don't want to break the bank, this is my go to place. I love it and can't wait to keep coming back here for more stuff. The staff is very friendly too, this one girl went to see if they have something I wanted in the back and was nice enough to call another store to check an item for me even though they were extremely busy, now that's the service I can count on. I've recently developed an addiction for Home Goods. I am not really a fan of discount stores like this but if you really look, you can find a lot of great things for your house. This location is by far one of the best Home Goods I've been to. The whole feel of the store is anything but discount. It feels like you are shopping in an actual store with "new to the store" items. The whole store is very neatly organized and everything feels very clean. They also have a pretty extensive Halloween set up right now with tons of cute home décor items. I particularly like the wall art section as well as their pet section. Bought an awesome cat bed (at a different location) that my cat can't get enough of.
