There's something fabulous about going through these bins of random products not knowing what you will find. The experience was super fun. The people who go there can be real a$$ holes so I do not think that's a reflection of the business, but just lousy people can be. You hear the big winners who win things like an iPad or a PlayStation or something but if you set your expectations to be reasonable for a $20-30 item that's $6-8 then I feel like I won ( over 50%off!) What did I get? Korak Legos ( over $20), a visual timer( over 50), and a picture box (about $30) for signs that change color which sadly did not have all the letters so will require a little extra work to print up new letters in Order to use the product Because today was eight dollar day, I went big and bought a mystery box. The unboxing was so much fun. Just the horror on my husband's face while I unpacked was worth every penny. But I did find some great deals like insect killer refill that works for the exact product, we have at home. We got swimsuits and 12 really nice iPhone cases that are exactly the same, hiking shoes that fit, my friend, dog food, snacks, Mom blankets. I think a total of three, and a Mom plaque that says I love you. I felt that the store loved me more than the love my family shows me because I've never had so many products in one place in my life. I included a photo of part of me unboxing box. Rule number one, do not open the box. They will open it for you in the back and you can check it out like I said there's some really lousy people there. Who cannot follow the rules and are super rude. They will kick you out if you break the rules Oh and 3 of the cutest babies who were so so good despite the chaos

I would warn if you visit that you may get hit by shopping carts by distracted people. There is a rule that you can't open the boxes yourself, so grab your boxes quickly and then wait in the line for the opener. The owner was really nice, when we told him it was my husband's birthday he gave us a free $8 item. I got some great deals on some home organization pieces that would normally sell for $35. Overall lots of fun!

They take pride in their offerings. They have a section of used & donated goods for resale all neatly displayed and hung up. I have found 2 authentic Coach purses in great condition for only $5 each!!! Then they have a retail section in which you can grab brand new items from the shelf just like at a big box store but at a vastly discounted price. I have already purchased many items that will be under my tree. Now for the best part, they have bins which contain anything & everything. All items in the bins are a flat price based on the day of the week, Fri $10 - Sat $8 - Sun $6 - Mon $4 - Tues $2 you then decide if you want the item at $10 on Fri or take a chance to see if it's still there for $2 Tues. I have found some amazing brand new items on my last couple of Friday visits such as a $278 Michael Kors wallet, $470 foot/leg circulation machine, $169 roller skates, $60 under cabinet pullout organizer and MANY more all for $10 or less!!!

This ended a while ago due to health safety concerns. Now, they still have packaged foods that don't need refrigeration. The only refrigerated items are soft drinks. Seriously, you can find books, decorations, kitchen items, office supplies, toothpaste, and much more. There is a stigma about going into Dollar Stores. It may have something to do with past history. I suspect it has more to do with being seen walking into one. While I am far from a frequent shopper, I had a reason to go. I was pleasantly surprised by their selection. With the majority of their goods being $1, I splurged and spent $10. The experience was overall good. One thing about all Dollar Stores, they generally have little staff. There is no one to answer questions. And, items are mixed up and scattered on the floor. Finding what you want isn't always easy. Aside from that, the prices are certainly good. Don't worry about the profits. They buy their wares at between $0.05 and $0.10 on close out, then mark them up to a dollar or more. The times I've visited there were always people shopping so, they are certainly popular. If you haven't ventured in to a Dollar Store before, don't let any stigma bother you. This isn't like shopping at Prada - don't expect to have a personal shopper. There is always something to find at deeply discounted prices you may buy at Walmart you can find here at even lower prices.
