This place is dangerously addicting. Came here for the first time and then came back again in less than 2 days. There are so many good finds here and compared to the Glendora store, this store has a lot more beautiful lamps. I was on a hunt for lamps to decorate my new home and this HomeGoods literally made my heart stop with its gorgeous and great priced inventories. When I came back the 2nd time in the same weekend, I found their staffs to be wonderfully pleasant. All of them appear to be loving the store - and who wouldn't?! Few Good to knows - 1. Their carts cannot leave the store unless a staff helps you with your bags or digitally unlocks the cart. 2. According to my colleague, you should not go with the wrong car (tiny cars), or assume your beloved items will still be there when you come back with the right car. In summary, people grab things fast and you probably shouldn't hesitate. You always have 30 days to get a full refund if things do not work out. read more

I love me my Homegoods!!! I'm an interior design freak, and I love a good discount, so this place is GREAT. It has some awesome deals and awesome items. The china/plates/mugs are really cute, and some of the home decorations are really awesome/beautiful. The parking is okay, and free for 90 minutes in the parking garage. It's great to have lunch at Vegas next door, and then shop here to burn some of the countless calories you've likely eaten. The customer service here has generally been pretty friendly. I've gotten some cool deals/stuff here before... unique kid's toys/puzzles, awesome paper towel & napkin holders, knives, fancy cups. I love their stuff, but I love their discounts even more! This Glendale store always has great steals! Always. I am liking this store more and more in the past few months. All the employees are constantly on task. Organizing, helping, working. I like that. Sometimes I do get one employee who doesn't know a name on a furnishing, but then I am not at Feast or William Sonoma. Although in an ideal home goods store it will be nice for the employees to know that a charger is something you put under a plate and not an electronic item (as I was corrected that they sell those at Radio Shack!)... But Overall, I love finding good deals there for unique items. Parking is always plenty across the street, 90 minutes free, and then a minimal charge of $1 per hour. I don't think that this Homegoods is the best one I have stepped ever been into but that doesn't stop me from coming in here at least once a month. I have bought: bath rugs, kitchen essentials like a cookie sheet and a can opener made by "kuhn rikon," candles, a picture frame stand and pillow cover protectors. Basically, this place has the essentials and a lot of random things to for any room in your house. Homegoods has a really well stocked inventory and you could easily spend hours (and hundreds) here. Some of the stuff is slightly damaged goods (for example I can never find a picture frame that isn't scuffed or dented) and some of the decorative pieces are hilariously tacky (and probably will never sell) but overall I really like this place. As one reviewer mentioned, this store has an extensive pet section. I don't own a pet, but if I did, I would buy all of its toys and accessories from this place. read more

Ok...so this place wasn't what I expected. I honestly thought it was solely a place carrying various house and house accents stuff...that was organized. Umm...not quite. This places gives out a Marshalls vibe of stuff strewn everywhere and it's YOUR duty to sift through stuff and knick knacks to find that "unique" item for home. Sure...if I had the time and didn't mind the crazy parking to get here...and then, if wanting to actually make a purchase here, deal with the slow slow lines. I read some of the comments about this store. Let me start by saying it is not a messy store. When I went the first time I was taken away on how neat and organized this store is. I really love the way they have the display tables, makes you want to buy everything on it. While I was shopping a sales associate asked if she could help me find what I was looking for. She introduced herself as Jennifer. I told her it was my first time at this location. She walked me through the store and showed me the different sections. Wow, I was blown away, I felt so special that she took the time to get me familiar with the store. What an amazing experience. Homegoods = House porn. Great place to fill out your apartment, condo or house. There is a wide range of house hold goods all at discount prices. Some items can be hit or miss, but if you don't mind hunting a little you can find some great items for a good price. I got a supply of towels, bathroom rugs and stemless wine glasses here along with a lot of other odds and ends. I've compared prices with here and Sur La Table and Bed Bath and Beyond and things are cheaper here. One note is that if you see something, you better grab it because once it's gone...it's gone for good. read more

Love love love Home Goods....there's so much to love! Since I work nearby I go to this store often and I always see new items there everyday that are at least 50% of the original retail price! You can get a nice bargain with major brand items here. The furniture are really good quality and I love their cookware. They were marked down to $30-$40! What a deal! Only damper on my experience shopping was when I asked one of the store employees if they had more information on a armoire/dresser (like the manufacturer, warranties, what kind of wood is it, etc.) and she proclaimed "Well, I don't think I can help you with anymore than what's there already!" Nice customer service lady! However, I still go there because they've got great items that are reasonably priced. I just make sure I look up the manufacturer and other useful information when I'm interested in buying a large furniture item...just in case! read more

I love the immense decor selection. I could spend a good chunk of my time (unnecessarily) redecorating my house here. I've also seen more mark down items at this location compared to the Westchester locale. But the Westchester location has the clothing department which is ok. Didn't find much anyways. The parking structure is three hours free, no validation needed. Which is great for being located on Brand. The employees are friendly and always asking if I need any assistance. Maybe because I went during the evening but this location was a bit lonely, but that's all good with me. Less wait when I checkout. read more

This is a great HomeGoods! I love shopping here. I would give it 5 stars but... Oh my God the bathrooms are UNBELIEVABLY gross. I don't think it is the staff's fault. They always seem busy and hard-working and friendly. Corporate needs to make some serious changes and hire more people to clean these bathrooms or at least put proper-size trash cans in the stalls. The trash cans are WAY too big for the stalls and overflowing with garbage so when you sit on the toilet seat you have to actively work to avoid sitting on the trash too! I feel like it HAS to be some kind of health code violation?? There is also never soap in the dispensers, never paper towels in the dispensers, always trash on the floor and it smells disgusting. No matter what time of day I go this is the case and I visit the store often because my gym is upstairs. It's just so weird because the rest of the store is great and this seems to be a problem that others have reviewed and corporate just doesn't care?? REALLY wish they would at LEAST get smaller trash cans and empty them regularly. read more

Home Goods has pretty decent deals overall. I come here often to find deals on anything from picture frames and candles to dog toys and furniture. My gripe and the reason for only giving them three stars is that they simply can't seem to get their checkout lines in order. It's always a checkout disaster here - even with the new layout. I recognize they're trying but I'm still always getting cut in front of in line, and the staff seems completely oblivious to the fact that there are people waiting that should have actually gotten assistance first. Home Goods is always one of my "go-to-places" for cute and cheap accent pieces. This is a Huge one! There is plenty of selection in every department. Employees are helpful, and location is great. My first, and I'm sure to be last, visit to this specific store was not great...I'm not the most kid-friendly person but I do expect parents to keep an eye on what their kids are doing. During the hour I was watched a little girl purposely push over a large mental sculpture (it didn't break at least.) Kids were yelling and running around the store; not watching where they were going, I heard glass break a few times, and some rows were such a mess you couldn't even walk through them. The store itself is a good location; maybe try coming here when it's not so busy and a school day. read more

Great stuff at a great price. Their customer service here is great. I came in to get a table and noticed it was a little scratched and they gave me a little discount that I really appreciated. Even offered put it in my car. You can get a lot of good deals here for great quality. They have some discounted higher end stuff like Le Creuset. I just moved into a new place and Homegoods helped with the decor. From my bed sheets to the bathroom rug and towels, to the gorgeous entry way table I got today, it is definitely the place to go when you want to fill your home with beautiful stuff but you don't want to pay outrageous prices. read more

I love HomeGoods and I am a frequent customer, but this location is lacking. It's overcrowded with so many items that it's hard to even see what they have. Also, there are not enough carts for customers, and not enough employees to staff the store. It was overcrowded and understaffed which is just a recipe for disaster. Came here with my fam today and found a few cute items. The lines were long but we braved them, which really didn't turn out to be worth it. There are like 5 cash registers, a very long line, and only one cashier. We wait about 20-30 minutes. When it was finally our turn, we needed a price check on an item that didn't have a price tag, and that turned into a whole other debacle that took another 10 minutes. It was just painful and we probably won't come here again - at least not during the holidays. read more

This store is always a hot mess. The staff is alright but management sucks. They are rude & not very helpful. I bought some furniture & was attempting to go outside to wait for the car with my 6 year old niece & 2 managers that were just chatting away next to me, turned & said really loud "you can't take the carts outside". Really - if you are looking for stuff for your home without breaking the bank, then this is the place. I've been into many model homes and I'm sure the designers shop here too. That doesn't mean every piece is bought here, but Home Goods can be a great place to get accent pieces and other items as well. One thing I find is that the selection of items is constantly changing. If you see something you like, buy it! You never know if it will be there when you come back. Seasonal items stock early, and when they sell out they are not replaced. Items I like to buy there - towels, lamps, mirrors, wall art. Some specialty food items. Baby decor. In spring - planters and garden decor. Their rugs and furniture items are good too. Mind you, these are not expensive designer pieces. They're not cheap either. But, mix things in with all your other treasures, and it works! You have to come back often to get the best selection. I prefer going during the week when it's less crowded. It's fun - enjoy! read more

Had no idea that a Homegoods was in Glendale! It must've opened recently (1 yr ago?) ... used to be a Best Buy. It's tucked between several stores and has the parking lot right behind it... so easy if you need to move things around. We were there rather late.. 9pm ... they open till 10pm!! I did like the store -- mostly organized but the middle section / aisle was pretty messy.. didn't really try to venture into that area. Otherwise, it's very much like any other Home Goods. They had some interesting props for the kitchen which were kinda cool. ... we ended up not buying anything ...mainly there just to get ideas. read more

Doesn't seem like the employees care to keep the store looking tidy. Also, every time I come here there's always one cashier and a long line. And today the person at the front of the line wanted to return something so the manager came up to create a new ticket, looked right at the long line, then left. Went back here this weekend with a few specific items in mind and left a little disillusioned :( Like any other Marshalls, Ross, or TJMaxx type of store, you really can't rely on anything being here when you need it. Very much a hit-or-miss kind of a place. Made a special trip to Glendale just to visit this store in hopes of getting some designer-discounted bath towels and table cloths. Instead I found more kitschy Santa and thanksgiving turkey porcelain figurines than I could stand to look at. Seriously, this store has all you need in terms of "classy" gone tacky holiday decor, but nothing more than a few standard colored towels and nearly no table cloths. To my surprise, I left with nothing. This store is my heaven! Having just moved into a new place, I find myself at Home Goods at least twice a month. I was sick and tired and seeing Bed Bath and Beyond/Macys ridiculous home prices. Home Goods is a breath of fresh air in terms of just about everything for your home...and it won't leave you cringing each time you swipe your card! It can be a mess at times (especially the Glendale one), but it's worth braving the human traffic for these items and prices. I returned 85% of the registry items and bought only the really expensive items from Macys and BBB, rest was all done here! read more

I usually love homegoods and their products however I don't think I'll be returning to the Glendale location. Not because of the products but because of their employees. I think Home Goods should really take into consideration when hiring young kids as employees. As my husband and I were trying to checking out this young girl probably late teens early 20s looked like she was under the influence. In lamence terms the girl was HIGH. She said she recognized my husband but didnt even know his name. She kept badgering him asking him if he knew these people and he didnt. She said she went to hoover high school, about 5'2, and wore glasses. She kept saying "fuck this guy" to my husband and we both didnt even know her. I let it slide because we were in a hurry and I knew she was on something but I think HomeGoods should definitely drug test their employees. read more
