Great tasting tacos and tostadas. The meats are well seasoned. I had the Al pastor and Steak, both were very well seasoned and good. I will say it is very dry so it's best they follow the instructions on the pickup orders by adding the recommended sauces on the website (Avocado salsa-Mild) for me. They didn't follow those instructions but it's okay the great taste made up for it. Customer service was great and friendly. I will definitely order from here again. read more

Recently began working in the area and this has been one of my favorite new spots so far. 3 stars because...on my second and most recent visit... the lady at the register who I presume was the boss shorted me on my change. There are a lot of NYC taco establishments where I'd kind of expect this level of food from, but being that their website says, "The tortillas are freshly made and form the perfect vessel for the flavorful fillings" I expected more. But this is very misleading! Their tortillas are NOT made to order. It seems to me that this is done on purpose, and I'm kind of upset about it. Tortillas are an inelastic food - try as places may to spruce them up by frying or steaming, it's just not the same. Fillings wise, the shrimp was tasty, and the steak was tough. Their nachos are also in an interesting style that's half the "we will make you 11 individual chips, but each chip has all the things you want on it" and half "giant pile of shredded lettuce. I'd never had that before, and it was interesting. The service was cordial. Having K-Pop on the TV with an advertisement after every song was an interesting choice, but whatever. These things are minor though. Tough steak on a reheated tortilla is a recipe for me to never come back. read more

The food was really good. We had chicken nachos and shrimp Mexicana. The service was fast delivery. The only problems we had were that we ordered the telera bread with the shrimp and didn't get it. Also, the pictures of the food show bigger portions than what you get. Man, this burrito SLAPPED. We came here after a night out with friends and were craving something filling and tasty. We did our research and a burrito sounded just right. This spot was walking distance from the venue we were at and also had high reviews so we decided to give it a chance. I ordered the spicy pork burrito to go which came with a side of chips. When we got home and had the time to dig into these it was great. Large portion and tasty ingredients made for one of the best burritos I've had in a while. At the restaurant the wait was a little long for the food but I imagine it's because they had a lot of to-go orders. I'm a native Californian always on the hunt for good Mexican good after moving to NY. My friend recommended this place because she had placed some orders before and the food was really enjoyable! However, it's really sad to leave a 1 star review because I will probably not be returning because a tip was fraudulently added to my bill and then my friend's bill our second time around. I ordered birria tacos and a tostada which came out to just about $20. I left a reasonable tip rounding my total up to $25 but upon inspecting my bank statement, I was charged $30! I was really thrown off to think that this was done purposefully by the woman working the register and just gave the establishment the benefit of the doubt but then when we returned the following week, my friend was charged $10 over her bill as well! It's one thing to not go to a restaurant because the food is not good, but it's another thing when the establishment is untrustworthy and stealing money from their patrons. Please be aware when dining in and ALWAYS ask for a receipt to dispute with your card. Such a sad thing, this place was actually good, but if you care about your hard earned cash, just simply don't come! read more

Love the food here but beware. We come here a lot, usually we order through DoorDash though but occasionally walk in. My friend and I dined in a couple weeks ago and she noticed an additional $5 on her credit card statement from what she remembered her total being. She swore the woman working added a tip herself since she didn't sign the check (signature not required, just a space for a tip). We came in again on Saturday and the same woman was working behind the counter. After I ordered, I asked the woman, do I need to sign? (I always leave a tip) but she said no, and said it's okay. So I made a mental note of the total and told my friend I would watch my credit card statement. Next thing you know, my credit card statement showed an $11 difference between what the bill said. We got 1 tostada, 1 kids burrito, 2 cokes and chips+salsa, I remember telling my friend, it was $24 and change and to remember that number. I totaled it up on DoorDash and it also came to $24 and change. But my statement said $35. So this woman is adding a tip for herself and having people not sign the check, which is fraud. I disputed it with my credit card but if you dine in, make sure to get a copy sign your receipt! read more

Some real, good Mexican food here! Big, cheap portions and nothing too fancy, but great home made salsas and tortillas. The tortas are outstanding and the different meats that come with the tacos, etc. are very well seasoned. Empanadas are nice especially for the kiddos. I would say the quesadillas are a miss and don't have much cheese and some of the items are a bit overloaded with lettuce, but overall I'm very happy to have this place in the neighborhood.
