Great water pressure, good electrical service, and great sewer hook ups. There are a lot of seasonals here, however with so many seasonals, you would expect it to be noisy during the summer and it's not at all. I asked for a site where there weren't a lot of trees and they were very accommodating. The site that we had wasn't as level as I would've liked it and probably I would've given them five stars if the sites were little more level.

When we arrived, we were told there was an issue with the spot we had reserved so they would be putting us in a different spot. That spot would not work for our needs so they offered a different site again. While driving to the new spot, we saw someone else camping in the spot we had initially reserved! We tried but The spot offered didn't really fit our rig so we just decided to move on. They were very kind and offered a refund. The grounds looked well kept and peaceful. I know it can be difficult to hire "good help" but it's quite frustrating when they are disorganized in a fashion that creates these types of issues for the customers.

Except for the ridiculously small swimming pool, it's a wonderful place. Unfortunately, now new management has shattered our future dreams of enjoy this place. Whoever these new individuals are (as they have never had the decency to ever show face or introduce themselves in any way) have so far not made a good impression. They've increased the prices astronomically for seasonals and claimed to have made many improvements, but other than a new gate entrance, and a few wooden docks, we haven't seen much. Many seasonals that have enjoyed it here for years, now have no other choice but to leave because it is no longer even remotely affordable. So many have already left with many more right behind them before long. All the fun and dreams we had with our family, friends and grandkids must now come to an end. We understand prices nationwide have increased, but this campground always functioned well under the previous owner. We expect small increases annually but by the hundreds. This is a campground, not the Taj Mahal! Other campgrounds are just as nice and nowhere near the high cost of this one. Many of us wonder if these "mystery people" are not just doing this intentionally to make seasonals leave so they can just turn the property into something else. Who knows?? Sad and disappointing.

I enjoyed canoeing, kayaking and fishing. They have different sections. The "L" section in front of the lake is beautiful. So is the other side. There are other sections on the other side a little further from the lake. There is a section on a hill and one in the woods. Depending on the section you decIde to stay as a seasonal would be the price you pay. I've been on the water and in the other section and they are both good. They're are seasonal campers that have been there for many years. Sites do become available at times. I suggest staying there a weekend to check it out. Especially during one of the planned activities like the Poker Run, Ice Cream Social. Please contact the campground for a list of activities (I know it's subject to change every year). The owners Chad and Laura are the best business owners you will ever meet. They were campers themselves before they purchased. They are fun and fair. It is a very…read morespacious park, lots of activities, fishing lake, playground, game room, horseshoe pit, and lots more. Everything seemed well-maintained. My complaint is getting charged for five nights when I only stayed for three. I had made an original reservation for five nights, but my plans changed and I only needed three. I called in advance to let them know of this, but they said that since the reservation was for five nights, they had to charge for five nights. I maybe could understand if it was a big holiday weekend or even a weekend for that matter, but it was during the week and the place was deserted. Just remember when you make a reservation here you are getting charged for it! Total rip off!

The camp host, John, was extremely helpful on providing where to find the nearest gas station. He offered me food and welcomed me in. He's the prime example of genuine hospitality. The campsite and bathroom were very clean. John is very attentive and you can see the care he puts into his work. Also, he has 25 years of experience with welding! In the near future, I'll be taking my family here. It's next door to sisters and close to east of Salem.

When we went they were rushing to get new campsites finished up the day we were pulling in. The…read moresites were muddy and rain was expected. Some campers were stuck and could not leave. Couldn't do anything cause of mud. Roads were poorly maintained. Nothing good about the place. Maybe if they wasn't trying to make more site available on the day people was placed at these sites and it didn't rain. Which they couldn't control but they could have gravel their roads better.

Our stay at this RV park was extremely disappointing due to serious safety concerns, poor…read moremanagement, constant noise issues, and overall lack of cleanliness. The biggest issue involved multiple off-leash dog incidents. While walking my leashed dogs one evening, we were aggressively approached by another dog that was not on a leash. I was able to pick up my smaller dog, but my larger dog had to defend herself. She has never been in a fight before and was simply protecting our pack. This was a dangerous situation that could have easily resulted in serious injury. I reported the incident to Animal Control because dogs roaming off-leash in required leash areas is unacceptable. What made the situation worse was how management handled it. The owner approached my husband and me aggressively, yelling at us to leave immediately and falsely accusing my dog of being the aggressor. She even violently shook our fence and demanded it be removed, despite other campers having fences in place. We were told to move by the next morning in December, despite being in a winterized site, which caused unnecessary stress and cost us a $40 lost deposit for a temporary site. After reviewing security footage, the owner later admitted we had done nothing wrong, but there was no apology or acknowledgment for the false accusations and threats. The park also has a major issue with inconsistent rule enforcement. After we were required to remove our fence, other campers were allowed to keep theirs in place for months. This creates an unfair environment and leaves guests unsure of what rules are actually enforced. Another ongoing issue was the frequent loud music. Music was often played loudly from nearby sites, making it difficult to relax, enjoy the evening, or have any peace at our camper. This happened often enough to become a major frustration during our stay. The condition of the property is also poor. The roads are entirely gravel and filled with potholes, especially near the entrance. When it rains or snow melts, these become large muddy puddles that make walking difficult and can be rough on vehicles. Because this is a small park, smoke from neighboring campers also becomes a problem. Marijuana smoke frequently drifted into our area, making it unpleasant to open windows or sit outside. There were continued safety issues as well, including another camper's unattended dog getting loose and approaching my dogs. The owner didn't even realize their dog had escaped, which only added to the ongoing stress. Cleanliness is another concern. Dog waste is often left around the property, creating unsanitary conditions and obvious health concerns. Overall, while the location may be convenient, the combination of aggressive management, unsafe off-leash dog incidents, loud music, poor maintenance, smoke exposure, and lack of cleanliness made this a very stressful and unpleasant stay. I would strongly encourage pet owners and families to consider these issues before booking.
