I hate bugs. I hate anything to do with those little creatures. They're gross, make me feel gross, and immediately feel like vomiting. Last night my husband noticed something in our pantry. Upon further inspection, it looked like a bug, it looked like several bugs in our pantry. I did what any sane person would do, I threw all the food out. I know extreme, but I was grossed out. I immediately contacted HomeTeam, but they were closed. To my surprise they had a number you could text. I texted them my question and Sean/Shawn (sorry I can't recall the correct spelling), asked to see a picture. I sent him a pic of the bug, he immediately said it was pantry moths, and that they could have someone come out on Friday at 8am. He instructed me to find the "host". He mentioned they typically get in via grains/rice/pasta based foods. After careful inspection our entire bag of dog food was the culprit...GROSS (another story for another day and now I'm apologizing to my poor pup Dash for feeding him moths). We got rid of the entire bag, we got rid of the vacuum sealed container that the food was kept in. Sean called us the next day, stated what the technician would be doing to rectify the problem on Friday. Said it's a pretty typical problem, and can come from anything you get at a pet store or grocery store. Looking forward to someone from HomeTeam coming out tomorrow to get rid of these gross insects. Until then, I'll be sleeping with one eye open. This is my first time using HomeTeam & the Taexx system. I have to admit that I was skeptical at first, having never heard of the system. After using it for a year, I decided to cancel my other pest control service, which I thought was the best ever. I am not saying my previous service wasn't the best ever but until using the taexx system from home team, I didn't know what I was missing! The HomeTeam team is very personable, very cordial, very punctual, very polite, and very thorough! Online billing is awesome, as well! Since moving into my home..... I haven't seen ANY unwanted critters inside the house! Give them a shot! You won't regret it! read more

Horrible horrible customer service. I called and told them I wanted to re-up my year contract for pest control, paid nearly $400 and was left another bill at my door yesterday. Called the office to ask why I was billed and apparently they renewed my service for termite control only, was told pest control was another $375. I told them the rep I spoke to told me my price was everything included, I was told I was lying because their rep would never say that (I have my husband as a witness to the initial phone call) and then my husband was hung on up by a girl claiming to be the office manager, when the call before that she transferred me to the actual manager who is a man. Completely rude and unprofessional people who lie to customers. I would never use them again, extremely shady!!! read more

Just had technician, Michelle, working next door, offer to move a Sentricon head for me. ( it was under a new gutter downspout) as a HomeTown client I was not even on her schedule today but she offered unsolicited to move it for me. A few weeks ago I received a call from Robin at HomeTeam. She called to inform me they had discovered they had the wrong linear ft on my account and they had been over charging me since the inception of the account ( 20 plus years). I said " wow, I appreciate your honesty." She said your account has been adjusted going forward. I asked if I would be getting a refund check or if they would just put a credit on my account. She said neither, we don't refund. I said that's not right you took my money. I asked to speak to her up-line manager. She provided two names and said it would do no good to speak with them because they had informed her they don't do refunds. i asked her to check with them. A few days later I got a call from Robin offering to upgrade my bond to 3 million from a million free of charge. I told her I did not need a three million dollar bond. She said that was the best they could do. Then she stated I could always go elsewhere. I am now with TRADS. They have wonderful customer service. When they came out to install new Termite stations in the ground they discovered 3 that had not even been monitored by HomeTeam. I'm a Realtor. Can you imagine if I discovered that one of my customers had accidentally been overcharged the agreed upon commission and I called them and told them but informed them I don't give refunds. I would not be in business. If you have this company make sure you call and confirm your linear sq ft and billing ( especially if your on auto charge). If you do not use them and are considering a new company remember my experience. read more

Just love Home Team. They totally understand customer service. Jonathan came out to spray for scorpions. I mentioned that I was having a huge problem with snakes. He told me that they have a treatment for snakes. He was going to set an appointment for the following week....he checked his vehicle and found he had the product on hand and did the treatment immediately so that I didn't have to worry about snakes by my front door anymore. Home team really cares about their customers. AND...they always call to follow up to make sure I am happy with their service! How could I not be?!
