I always try to spend my money locally. I bought tires here and they have been nothing but trouble. I paid more for a "great" warranty. The tread is already wearing down and one tire keeps losing air. Not even a year old and I have taken them back at least 6 times to complain about them. All they will do when I take my car in is to check the tire pressure and add air. I could easily do that myself. I would say do not buy tires at this dealership! They refuse to stand by the sale or the warranty. read more

Whatever you do, stay away from Hometown Chrysler! They are scam artists! I should have went to Google and read reviews before they got me too! All of the positive reviews on here are definitely friends and family of the owner(just like the employees). I purchased a 2019 vehicle with only 28k miles on it two weeks ago. They are roughly 2 hours away from me so I asked them to deliver the vehicle to which they agreed (it looked beautiful online). It took them 8days before they could deliver because they were busy and had to detail it. Or so they said! After having to pull my own carfax I found out they were replacing axels, brakes, and who knows what else. The vehicle was in several accidents and half the van was repainted. Turns out they buy auctioned/repo vehicles and do the bare minimum to flip them. They sent me photoshopped documents blurring out the work that was being done. STAY AWAY! If anyone would like proof I'm happy to send over plenty! I'm sure Fred or Kim will have a semi professional response to this on here but trust me, when confronted they are absolutely horrifying to deal with. I have two open complaints/investigations on them for dealer fraud with the state of Michigan and Chrysler themselves. Everyone in the service department is amazing to deal with, Freddy and Garret are who I usually speak with and I'm always impressed with their Customer service. They are very quick and responsive. I can always rely on them to get me in quickly for an oil change but recently my check engine light came on, I took it in and they had to order a part for it and needed to keep my car overnight - they provided me with a loaner and called me first thing the next morning that it was ready. read more

If you want to get screwed out of your hard earned money, GO HERE! Took my "deleted" diesel truck in for an oil change. 23 year old "owners son" (Freddy) service writer scanned my truck and told me there were recalls. When I asked what they were, he explained an "EGR Cooler, Crank Positioning Sensor, and some Canadian recall." I informed him that he could not do the recalls due to my truck being fully deleted and not having an EGR Cooler. Long story short, they did the recalls, erased my tune on my ECM and put my truck into limp mode. No, they wouldn't give me a loaner car until I could get it re-tuned. Yes, they did pay $300.00 of the $1100.00 it took for me to get my truck running again ONLY to have the owner (Fred) cancel the check after I left. Read that part again!!!! Gave me a check for $300 of $1100 and then canceled it after I left!! So, I paid $186.56 for an Oil Change, and $1125.00 to have my truck re-tuned so I could drive it off their lot. When I found out the owner canceled my check and went to the dealer to confront him as to WHY he would do such a thing, he told me to get the F off his property and called the police on me. Terrible service. I brought my car in and they gave me a quote over the phone but when I went to pick it up they were charging me 700 more than the quote and they didn't even fix the problem I brought the car in for!! Never going back read more

Our car check engine light came on on our second day traveling from NY to CO. We saw the service sign and we're able to make it chugging into the parking lot. We were greeting nicely and taken care of right away. They offer to give us car to go into town for lunch. They gave a fair estimate for how long it would take and what it would cost. Had an oil change and tire rotation at Hometown Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Albion. Aug 2022. The two young guys in the service dept. appeared to me to be fresh out of high school. After the service was done I drove 15 miles to my home. I felt the need to check my lug nuts after arriving home, something I normally wouldn't do but I felt uneasy about the possible lack of experience these young men had in working on vehicles. Sure enough I had some lug nuts that I could turn with my fingers. Some were tighter than others but not one of them had been tightened enough! Called the Manager and told him. He was apologetic and told me the guy who rotated my tires had only worked there for two days. I find it unacceptable and will never be able to trust them to work on my vehicle again. I drove on the highway and could've had a tire come off killing me and or others. All I can say is I hope it only happen to my vehicle and there aren't others driving around with loose lug nuts and don't know it read more
