    Bowl chicken pot pie

Off the beaten path and away from the typical tourist locations ... you can find this little gem of a place. Filled with mainly locals - it's across the street from the fire station. Our server was super friendly and very attentive... food came out hot and quickly. The food was overall good and everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. One person requested butter instead of gravy on their mashed potatoes and the result way way too much butter. Chicken pot pie was salty ... however overall the food was good and we will be back.

Don't miss this restaurant in your visit to Lancaster's Amish country, even though it is in Quarryville. It's worth going there. Service is great - friendly Amish and Mennonite women. The food is delicious! There's a dinner special most evenings. I've had the chicken pot pie, the Amish wedding dinner, and my favorite - the chicken croquettes! Their apple pie is great, the side chicken salad and macaroni salad are great. They have good strawberry jam. There's plenty of seating, there's a second room with beautiful murals. You'll see locals eating there, many times owners of local Amish businesses and community members, even people who came from far. Highly recommend you visit!

There is a small parking lot in front of the restaurant. It has a simple interior, the scenic room has a lovely mural. The service was friendly. The food was great. My Rueben was one of the best I have had. The thousand island dressing was perfect and the pastrami was cooked well. The bread is made onsite. The hand cut fries were yummy and I loved the potato salad. My husband also enjoyed his Rueben and coleslaw. We left happy and wanting to come back and try the dinner which has some traditional Amish options.

It takes a little getting to this place but it is worth it. The Crab Bisque special and open face roast beef was excellent. The service was top notch, took our order quickly and got food out without any delays. It as an open kitchen area that you can observe them preparing your food and the prices were reasonable for the large quantity of food they provide. I would definitely come back here if I'm anywhere nearby.

I went to this place for the first time with my parents who have been here before. I got the chicken pot pie which I thought was really good. My parents liked the food here before but this time it was just okay. All the sides are pretty big portions. The service was a little slow but they were busy. There's two different sides, one is nice and modern and the other is more for kids. You can choose to sit wherever you want.

While it was a colaboration between the library and the event space, no neither can take full credit, the two worked together effortlessly to make this event memoriable. Easy to find on Lincoln Highway in the Gap, the grounds, barns, and outdoor spaces were beautiful and well maintained. The inside of the barn was refurbished, modern, comfortable and a beautiful backdrop for any event. The grounds weren't quite in full bloom but were well maintained and the perfect scenery for pictures. The parking, although on the small size, was paved and ample. Another outbuilding where a storybook reading was held is normally used as a bride's quarters for getting ready pre-wedding. That room was elegant and furnished with luxurious french provincial type furnishings, gold guilded mirrors and was very grand. At our event, carriage rides were offered around the property. I had the pleasure of chatting with a relative of the owner, who relayed the property's history to me, which was very interesting. While the home is a private residence, there's still many venues on the property for different kinds of events. Definately a place to consider for large baby shower, party, reception, or wedding.

Our daughter wanted to have a "teen nightclub" themed dance party for her 14th birthday! At that age it's really challenging to find a venue for a great party that is safe and supervised, but also, crazy fun! Rachael helped us put together a party that was the "talk of the school" event! Everyone was buzzing about this party! Rachael, with the help of some other fantastic companies, like LEO party rentals, and BELLY caterers put together a very reasonably priced and very trendy dance party for Emma and her friends. It was so easy to plan, and even easier to sit back and enjoy the kids having a fantastic time! We couldn't have planned this terrific event without her! Rachael helped us coordinate with everyone. She sat down with me to brainstorm many times before the party, and took care of everything. The tiniest of details were covered! All of the event was kept within a very reasonable budget! We would also like to send a thank you out to the Goggleworks for their terrific, and very trendy "loft" like room, for the party location. The dj " DJ JG" John Gosselin was also a fantastic addition to the party! He knew exactly what music the kids wanted to hear. Everyone danced the entire night! Thank you Rachael for making this night so memorable for Emma, and us too! If your thinking of planning a party for your teenage daughter you should contact Rachael! She will really impress you!
