Spaghetti was awesome. Cannoli's are to die for. 1st time going but won't be the last. Staff and owners were so friendly and welcoming.

Got there 30 minutes after opening and there was a 45 minute wait. So today we were in the area and thought we would try again. To our disbelief we were sat at a table immediatly. Lucky us, I thought. We first ordered beverages. When the waitress returned, we ordered an appetiser of Arancini to start off and also our main dinners which included soup or salad. We both love arancini and haven't had any since we moved from Florida last October. I will admit we are used to having Sicilian style which usually is filled with rice, saffron, meat and vegetables, like peas. To our surprise the salads came out first. We both ordered a ceaser salad which was over whelmed with parmesan cheese and very little lettuce. The Arancini arrived and there was five perfectly round what tasted like cheese balls. Some white rice with lots of cheese filling laying in a bowl of marinara sauce. We each had one ball. My entree of chicken Marsala arrived with a side of Fettuccine Alfredo. Basically it tasted like chicken with mushroom gravy. Very unappealing. The Alfredo sauce was flat, no flavor. My wife's Penne with Pesto lacked pesto. Tasted good but could of used more Pesto. I just have to say that this was the most lackluster Italian dinner I honestly have ever had. I really just don't understand the high reviews. I guess it wasn't our lucky day.

It is an adorable restaurant, very comfortable, and smells like grandma has been cooking all day on a Sunday. Our server was INCREDIBLE, brutally honest when we asked questions or for her opinion. My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo and noted that it was very bland with "crunchy" pieces throughout. I ordered the shrimp scampi, on recommendation of our server, and the dish itself was incredible, but the shrimp were very small and so rubbery and overcooked that they were nearly hard to chew. I told my husband that I would love that dish without the shrimp, as the shrimp detracted from the dish overall. We were a little disappointed they didn't offer any sort of salad or bread service. My house Pinot Grigio was tasty and paired great with our meal. It's literally within walking distance of our home, so we may try it again down the road, but it just wasn't the local home run I was hoping for.

Shrimp scampi might as well have been a stick of butter and noodles with way overcooked shrimp. A…read moretip to know when shrimp is cooked enough is if it's shaped like a 'c' it's cooked. If it's a 'o' then it's overcooked ...well these were chewy if that helps confirming it was overcooked. The lasagna was more cheesy and noodles. Not much meat at all. It came with 2 pieces of bread and they tasted awful. FYI-They charge for bread FYI-they add 3% for credit card For as busy as they were I'm not understanding how people haven't questioned the food. Our server didn't even question that we left 3/4 plate and didn't want to take any home.
