    Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken

Saturday night visit was amazing. Arrival at the height of dinner rush (645) with an estimated 1 hour and 10 minute wait. We were called and offered a seat at the bar within 20 minutes and a table within 45. The booth was very plush and comfy! The nightly mule was a berry feature and I was tempted, but opted for my standard old fashioned. Delicious. They had 2 draft ciders, a sangria and a local gr local (vandermill). So my partner was pleased and liked the cider enough to indulge in a second. We had the mushroom bread as a starter and split the fettuccine alfredo and a deep dish. Everything came out to perfection. The vibe was immaculate and worth the wait. The server was wonderful and the other team members jumped in clearing plates and delivering drinks and boxes so quickly so we never felt even a little bit ignored. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend for a fun night out.

We couldn't find the restaurant at first. We were looking for the secret door and there really was one. The ambience was very speakeasyish. Brick and wood with light music in the background. It's a small restaurant so be prepared to wait and large parties aren't ideal. We only had a party of 2 and came early so we didn't have to wait. We had the special appetizer of the week which was spinach and artichoke dip. We also had a Caesar salad, chicken saltimbocca with polenta and green beans, and the crème brûlée. We shared everything and finished it all. Everything was delicious!! The service was just okay. The servers seemed busy and rushed. We got everything in a timely fashion though and our waters were always refilled. We will be back when we are in town again!

Arrived at 4:30 on a Saturday and waited less than a half hour. Food was fantastic and service was excellent! Definitely worth the hour drive! We were seated in a small room in a booth.

Lavender something but it was delicious!

Amazing server and the bruschetta recommendation was to die for! The chicken Parmesan was huge and I was in heaven with the flavors!! Try the smoked old fashion, you won't be disappointed!

They have great food and drinks. Lots of bourbon to choose from. The service was perfect!

I've been wanting to check out Capone's for a while now and am very glad I went! They have an amazing bar and the prices were pretty fair for some pours that I've seen, especially given some of their unique whiskeys/bourbons. I was craving some cheesy garlic bread when we came in so we ordered it for the appetizer but was a little disappointed. While good, not the best I've had. I really enjoyed the homemade italian salad dressing and the salmon pesto pasta. It's a little pricey overall but great italian food and I'm happy that I got to check it out. I can't wait to come back and try the Chicago styled deep dish pizza. It's definitely a vibe - small, dark, and feels like a speak easy, which was kind of nice. It did not feel loud at all, even though we were right underneath a speaker. The only complaint I have is that we were a 4 top sitting at a VERY narrow booth. We barely had any place for our individual meals let alone an appetizer or dessert to share. We had to get the table cleared often to accommodate that. But this is definitely a good spot to check out for Muskegon.

    Subtle doorway

Some of my family lives in the Muskegon area and we were looking for a dinner place and decided on trying this place out! This restaurant is inside the Northtown 794 building which has other restaurants, a brewery, a coffee shop, and some retail. When you first walk into the building you'll walk down the hall way a bit and see a door that says "Anti Saloon League". It's easy to miss without a clear sign saying what the doorway leads to. But there's a couple small signs next to the door of etiquette and a QR code to look at the menu. Once you walk in, there is a dark intimate vibe going on with 20s style decor and red leather booths and velvet curtains and then the room itself is pretty small with a pretty cool looking bar. The lady standing at the host stand put our name down and we were told about 30 minutes wait for four people and they use the Waitlist me website for guests to keep track of where their party is at. It took a total of 42 minutes for our table to be ready. Right away we realized they were very understaffed. Found out later they had only half the staff they usually would have. Which made a lot of sense after the fact. Our server was super nice and accommodating but wasn't at our table a lot because of the lack of staffing and it took a while to get waters, food, and eventually boxes and our bill. I'm pretty understanding and would definitely love to revisit to give another chance on a day where they have enough staffing because they food and vibe there was on point for sure. We were not given a drink menu but next time I would love to try one of their cocktails. I skipped over the appetizers and decided on ordering the Pappardelle Basil Pesto and added seared salmon (for an extra $10). This dish was amazing. The thick long noodles were surrounded by sundried tomatoes, sautéed kale, mushrooms, and a house made pesto that was divine. Of course topped with some Parmesan! Yum!! My brother ordered The Detroiter pizza and ate the entire thing! He enjoyed that there were three different kinds of pepperoni on it. Both my boyfriend and sister-in-law ordered the Chicken Parmesan. There was a piece of breaded chicken breast on top and they both were surprised to find bones in there but both said how delicious it was. For quite a while we waited for boxes and our bill. But like I said before I was understanding how they were short staffed and while we did have our servers attention he was definitely overwhelmed but still very kind to us. They had a decent looking dessert menu and I would love to check that out if I'm ever in town again :) Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and would probably rate it higher if they had a full staff that night. Great food and great vibes! Would definitely come again.

This is a photo of a few of their Bourbon options

Food and Ambiance were on point. This is considered a speakeasy and it did not disappoint us.

I didn't even know this place existed until a few days ago, and I was so excited to try it out! The door to get in doesn't look very special, but it is right down the hall on the street level of the building. It's super nice because there is so much free street parking and two lots behind the building with parking. It's all handicap accessible too! The inside of the speakeasy was kind of dark, and the seating was a little bit cramped. There were kerosene candles which made it smell weird, but I quickly went nose blind to it. The prices were a bit high, but the quality of the food made it worth it! Everything was absolutely amazing! The staff was very friendly as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a cool/different type of dinner vibe in the Muskegon area!

I've been to Capone's before, and loved it when I first came, because I ate something that was more Italian, and I also accompanied it with bourbon. But this time it was different. I ordered a medium, rare ribeye. I also ordered calamari and a mushroom Italian loaf. Montana the bartender was fabulous with her suggestions and the time it took to bring out our order. If you're looking for a a truely delicious meal with great ambience and fantastic staff come to Capone's!

We had a party of 20 and we're seated close to the window with a view of the Muskegon lake. The view is good but sadly it was a cloudy day so not the best. It would be great view for a sunny day. I got the "EBA" pizza, which stands for everything but anchovy, as it's just not my thing. It came with pepperoni, cheese, pepper, mushroom, sausage, and had a thin and crispy crust. 9/10! The only reason it was a 4 star instead of 5 was because of the service. We had one server taking orders for 20 of us and it just didn't feel enough. We had to wait a long time for our drinks and pizza, and she didn't really come back to check on us and to see how we were doing. Overall it's a nice place to get some local pizza if you're in town. I'd come again when I am in town and looking for some good pizzas.

When we arrived we noticed it was a two in one restaurant serving both traditional and fusion naan pizzas. They also had new prices. Everything was $4 more. Inflation hit and surprised us. Nevertheless we ordered a 9 inch chicken tikka masala pizza and cheese sticks for $27. SMH. The toppings were not cut for pizza's and it was clear to us that they were the same veggies they prepared for their curries. Huge chunks of peppers etc. The naan pizza was disappointing. It was $15 for a McCormick's tasting curry sauce with oddly cut veggies found under the cheese. The chicken had been toasted so long I thought they were croutons until I took a bite. Not worth it. The cheese sticks for the kids had some curry sauce brushed on with melted cheese and jalapeño. The man knew I was ordering it for the kids and the menu didn't say it came with anything but bread and cheese. SMH. That was a wasted $11. All of this took over 20 minutes to prepare. We were the only patrons. The place was dark, dusty and when we sat at the booth offered to us, I almost fell through to the floor. We chose to eat outside, across the street at some picnic tables because it was sunny and the air smelled fresh. The owners were nice enough, but I had to request napkins and the food was just okay. Glad we tried it, but I don't think we'll be back. Not good enough quality or balance of flavors for the price.
